Abby Lee Miller is returning to Dance Moms for season 8

After her recent incarceration and health issues, Abby Lee Miller is back for season 8 of Lifetime's Dance Moms. Miller announced on Instagram that filming for season 8 would begin at the end of January.

A short history of Abby Lee Miller's legal and medical woes:

  • In 2010, Miller filed for bankruptcy, owing $400,000 in taxes

  • Miller starred in Dance Moms for 7 seasons, from 2011-2017

  • In 2012, she created secret bank accounts to hide over $750,000 that she earned from masterclasses, TV deals, and merchandise sales

  • In 2015 she was indicted with bankruptcy fraud, concealment of bankruptcy assets and false bankruptcy declarations

  • Miller pled guilty, and was sentenced to 1 year plus 1 day in prison, followed by two years of supervised release

  • She was also ordered to pay a $40,000 fine and a $120,000 judgment

  • Miller reported to prison on 07/12/17, was transferred to a halway house on 03/27/18, and was released on 05/25/18

  • Miller lost 100 pounds while incarcerated

  • In April 2018, Miller was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma following emergency spinal surgery

  • Miller underwent 2 surgeries and 10 rounds of chemotherapy, and had to learn to walk again


Miller had quit the show in March 2018 due to a dispute with the network and the production company (her angry Instagram rant about it was previously posted on ONTD). Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke filled in for her for the last episodes of season 7. However, Miller teased her return in an Instagram post on 11/06/18.

Serena Williams and Roger Federer to Face Off for First Time

The 37-year-olds are the only people to have won 20 or more Grand Slam singles titles in the Open Era besides Steffi Graf, who has won 22.

The two have never faced each other on a court during a tour (they did play on the same team in 2010 to raise money for Haiti). But they will on New Year’s Day at the Hopman Cup, where Federer and Williams will face off in a mixed doubles match between Switzerland and the United States.

Taylor Swift celebrated NYE by hosting a costume party where everyone dressed up as their childhood heroes. Swift dressed as Ariel from The Little Mermaid, while Blake Lively went as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and Gigi Hadid went as Mary Poppins. Other costumes included Avril Lavigne, Posh Spice, Frida Kahlo and Gwen Stefani.

A short interview with Macy Gray

Macy Gray calls herself lazy, unpractical and a bit messy: "I could have changed for this photo shoot, but so be it. We'll do it without a bra."

The interview is for her tenth album, Ruby, which isn't named after a person but simply because Gray likes the colour. She associates it with excitement and passion - which is part of the music on this album, I made it while being a bit ecstatic."

She was asked to write for Ariana Grande (Leave Me Lonely), the producer heard her voice, other people, a choir and a band got involved and that was the start of Ruby.

On music:
Rod Stewart - Baby Jane, especially because of the video. "MTV changed my life. I didn't know this Rod Stewart, but I wanted what he was doing. I don't know who I would have become without MTV."

Billie Holiday: "I taught myself her calm way of singing. I love that you can understand all her lyrics because of her clear articulation." [tell Ariana about it, red.]


Gray likes Samuel L. Jackson and Marlon Brando, saying about the last one she never saw a more attractive man than young Marlon.

When it comes to attractive men, she says most of them can be found in Spain. She loves to go out dancing in Madrid and Barcelona.

Her favourite fashion brand is Valentino, but thinks the newer stuff is too expensive, so sometimes she makes pictures of it and forwards it to her regular dressmaker. "I'm not interested in the brand, I'm interested in the (model of the) garment."

Every year on January 1st, Dispatch (Korean news outlet) drops pictures of two popular K-entertainment stars who are in a relationship. This year, they surprised fans all around the world once again when they revealed that EXO's Kai and BLACKPINK's Jennie are currently dating.
Kai debuted in 2012 as a member of EXO, one of Korea's best-selling boygroups. Jennie is a member of BLACKPINK, a girlgroup that debuted in 2016 and is hugely popular at the moment. She recently released her first solo single "SOLO". This is Kai's second relationship that got outed by Dispatch.

According to reports, the two, who have been dating since October, met up for a late-night walk on November 25. Kai picked Jennie up from her residence and they went for a drive together. Jennie was also the first person he went to see after he returned from Haiwaii on December 2.

Let's see what happened to the couples on the absolute worst season of this show yet.

Mushroom Dick and Larissa: Misogynistic schlub Colt doesn't know how to tie a damn tie and has his mother do it for him. Norman Bates asks that his mom walk him down the aisle. (I think for any other son, this would be incredibly sweet, but it's Colt so...) Colt goes behind his fiance's back to invite his MAGA cousin who repeatedly called her a bitch. Colt made Larissa pick a dress from Goodwill because he's fucking cheap loser, but Larissa looks beautiful. Colt remarks that she's managed to control herself (fuck you, dude!). Larissa has sufferedT for this green card. After an argument, Larissa gets arrested and charged with domestic battery. Also Mushroom Dick has been messaging women who definitely aren't his wife.


Mormon Momma Twice Over and Aseulu: Kalani has only told her mother and sister that she is pregnant again. She's hoping that the news doesn't drop to Father Kalani for fear that he'll stop the wedding. Like no one is happy on this wedding day, y'all. Kolini wanted to object but didn't. So theys married now!

Ashley and Jumpin' Jay the Philanderer: Jay returns home and uses some sad excuse that he wanted to flirt with women less than a week after he got married. I know that Ashley has been through a lot and my heart goes out to her, but it's hard to empathize with a grown woman who thought she could see a long term future with a 20 year old with questionable facial hair who she partied with on vacation. Jay refuses to leave Ashely's home and says he's going to try and fight for the relationship. Also what is with Friend Ashley's fashuns? Ashley channels her inner Dinyell and considers da annulment.

Sociopath Steven and Saint Olga: The devil has finally left Russia. That's about it, he promises to return and keep Olga updated on her visa process. Olga's K1 Visa was indeed approved.

The Rigor Mortis of Deadbeat Dads and The Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Leida: Eric's ex-wife gave an interview to reveal that Eric, Leida, Allessandro and Eric's 11-yr old daughter Jennica were supposed to spend the day at the water park as it was Eric's week to care for Jennica. These assholes then told Jennica that they had to cancel the trip. Well cancel the trip for Jennica as the couple and Alless went to the water park without her. That little girl will never, ever forget that you piece of shit! Leida and her crusty lips get made over. You can watch the interview here. Eric for some reason has high hopes that his daughters will show up to his wedding. Eric forgets his pants because of course he does. Leida's dress is hideous. Jennica is his only daughter that shows up and she's wearing white!!!!! We love a shady queen in training. Eric and Leida filed a police report against Tasha for harassment. This couple deserves the worst and I hope Leida's dreams of a medical career never come true.

Fernanda and The Pervert: I kinda forgot about them. These two get married in Chicago because that's where most of The Pervert's family still lives. Unfortunately Fernanda's mom cannot make it to the wedding and fortunately Jonathan's mom cannot either. Fernanda wears a super cute, simple dress and saves the more extravagant dress for the ceremony in Mexico. Also shout out to production who kept zooming in on Fer's dried lash glue.

Walk Off The Earth Band Member Mike Taylor Has Died

Canadian band Walk Off The Earth announced yesterday that band member Mike Taylor ("beard guy") had passed away in his sleep, due to natural causes allegedly.

He had two children.

The band got their start to fame after posting a viral video in 2012 of a Gotye cover with all of them playing 1 guitar simultaneously.
