Today marks the 15th anniversary of Lucero going nuts before the press, so I thought of making a post with infamous scenes of artists against the press or live interviews gone bad. I made another post about Mexican feuds
here but there were mainly between artists, this is artists against the press or the press against the stars.
Lucero and her famous “Y??”Depending on your age, you might known Lucero as the child star, telenovela queen or teleton darling, but if you live for drama like me you also know she’s trash for a couple of things, like the hunting scandal, we had a post
here but the worst scandal in her career is as it follows.
- Part one, gunman v. reporters
Reporters were expecting to interview her after the 100th show of the play Regina, when they tried to get on the stage, Lucero’s bodyguard went a bit crazy with all the cameras on his face and pull out his gun (which he didn't had a permit to carry btw), mind you there was still a half full theater, more than 50 reporters and camera guys around and people in the stage. Lucero after all this tries to justify his reaction saying that the bodyguard was thrown to the floor by the reporters, kicked and was also trying to recover his gun, you can decide who was in the wrong here.

- Part two, Lucero defending him and making a bigger mess
The press conference which started with the producers apologizing about the incident only helped to put the media against her. She was unapologetic about her bodyguard’s behavior and her attitude against the press made them hate her. But she gave us the famous phrase “Y?” (a 'what about it?' or 'who cares?') because that was her answer whenever she was challenged about anything that happened.
Is a two-part thing, it went on for almost an hour, I actually watched this live on ventaneando and the commentary was amazing, if you can remember Daniel Bisgono had a feud with Lucero’s mom for years so whenever there was something to trash them, he went in.
Eduardo YáñezOh this one, he’s a “temperamental actor,” and as many men he gets to be aggressive, abusive and a bully and still have jobs on tv, problems with him happen in almost every telenovela he is in, he has been accused of being violent by his former partners and last year he slapped a reporter asking him about his relationship with his son. I hate his man, so just watch this:
Lupita D’alessioShe’s a tough one, goes from I love the press to I hate you guys during the same interview, she’s intense, up and off the stage. Mostly her issues with reporters are because they go after her when she doesn’t want to talk to the cameras, also she complains about being trashed by the press then realizing it wasn’t true, she comes out asking for forgiveness and it’s all good again between them.
The video is about her talking shit against dumb and dumber Andrea and Galilea (don’t come at me because your abuelita likes them from watching Hoy) because someone told Lupita these two were saying bad things about her youngest son, it wasn’t exactly true but she goes in on them, it was nice.
Lupita's message to Andrea: “si te vuelves a meter con mis hijos, te saco los ojos”
(if you say anything about my children again I'll rip your eyes out.”)To be fair to her, reporters know Lupita gets riled up easily so after a few minutes of her not budging to their questions she’s going to get upset and trash them, like in the next clip. They ask her about random stuff like her oldest son wedding and if she’s singing at the ceremony, her other son's newborn, just ridiculous questions that she doesn’t want to answer and it’s only making her mad.

(i’m in a bad mood, I'm not answering anything) Reporter: “por qué?”

(what do you care?)NiurkaAy, this one could have a post made just about her, she’s been meme worthy for years. Notoriously more famous for her scandalous personal life than for her artistry. She became a household name after leaving Mexican telenovela producer Juan Osorio for another man, Bobby Larios, she was on Celebrity Big Brother Mexico and left the house because she missed Bobby and having sex with him so much. She really
hates Ninel Conde and Carmen Salinas depending on her mood but this is about artists against the press and Niurka goes in, every time she can.
This reporter asked Niurka about her last relationship, how nobody believed it was a real one (there are gay rumors about the guy) and the reporter was being shady, Niurka was answering in an extra sweet way until she's over the reporter's antics, spits on her face and leaves.
Paulina RubioReporters were waiting for her and she wasn’t in the mood to answer and goes to hit them with her bag, nothing more to say about her. She’s annoying and hasn’t put a good song out in years, next. (no, I’m not a thalia stan but I'm living for her insta videos!)
Yuri vs. Lucía MéndezThis happened at a press conference that Yuri gave to clear up the information that she had a feud with Lucia, it was basically a lot of nothing, they said something, Lucia gave her version and asks them to stop saying she's an addict and a mess (she is a mess tho) and the reporters go back and forth to get more stuff so they can sell magazines. But Yuri was mad when Lucia appeared and left.
Ana Barbara and Lucero's Mom v. Daniel BisognoDaniel is part of the longest running gossip show in mexican tv Ventaneando, he has always been the one making the most outrageous jokes and comments, for a while he had been saying that Ana Barbara is ugly and gross things about her appareance, so one time Ana Barbara went to the show with Irma Serrano La Tigresa and she confronts him, in the next clip he says he was taken by surprise at this and was upset she came to confront him. Yes, he cried like a bitch.
About the long feud against Lucero's mom, Daniel took every opportunity to make fun of her, when she divorced on of her husbands and an intimate video leaked he made fun of her, he used to take jabs at her and she sued him a few times and was more angry about her always losing so this went on for years, so they talk about is on this clip
La Oreja v. Ventaneando Basically this was a live showdown between legendary gossip shows Ventaneando, from TV Azteca and La Oreja on Televisa. Ventaneando still going strong after many years being the number one show for gossip in Mexico has been involved in many feuds against artists, reporters or other shows. The most important one happened against La Oreja. Why? Because a former host, Juan José Origel left without saying goodbye or quiting the job, with the show's producer to start a similar show on Televisa called La Botana (it wasn't succesful and changed names a few times through the years), anyways..
Former model Carmen Campuzano lived a life of excess (she still does lbr) that left her convalescent, a national interview ended in controversy between Monica Garza and a reporter from Televisa when both apparently were given the exclusive. Juan José Origel received criticism and attacks live on air.
In the next clip Carmen and Monica appeared live on Ventaneando to talk about this incident and how she's doing after her many years of up and downs.
