While on the red carpet for Infinity War, Whedon was asked about his leaked Wonder Woman script and the backlash it received.

“I don’t know which parts people didn’t like but I went and re-read the script after I heard there was a backlash...I think it’s great. People say that it’s not woke enough. I think they’re not looking at the big picture. It’s easy to take one phrase out of context, and not that I was the most woke individual who ever lived at that time, 10 years ago. But I was in there swinging and the movie has integrity and the characters have integrity and I stand by it.”

  • MRSHLL (real name: Marshall Bang) is a Korean-American musician from Anaheim, California.
  • He appeared on Show Me The Money, a hip-hop oriented music competition TV show that airs in South Korea.
  • His first EP comes out next month.
  • Bang is openly gay, He came out to his mother by telling her in Korean. He didn't speak it well, though, which ultimately confused his mother. His parents continue to process his sexuality while still pestering him about getting married and starting a family.
  • He is also a Christian: "If being gay is a sin, I don’t understand why being gay is so much more worse than lying and cheating and all these other things that people readily accept in Christianity."
  • Bang, growing up around religion and in a conservative Korean family, avoided his sexuality by focusing on music. Whether it was singing in his church choir or making cover videos for YouTube.
  • You can hear him in his recent collaboration "Dive" with djfriz and Megan Lee.

First Footage of 'Halloween' 2018 Debuts at CinemaCon

-The footage starts off introducing a film crew making a documentary about Michael Myers, who was apprehended immediately after the first movie ended (retconning all sequels that have followed) and escapes imprisonment 40 years later.

-Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode, who has prepared for his escape by training with guns and outfitting her home with secret passages. She says she's prayed every day for this to happen. When someone asks why, she replies, "So I can kill him."

-The trailer highlighted two very intense moments. The first features a girl sitting in a public bathroom stall. Someone enters and she says it's occupied. Michael then puts his hand over the door and drops a bunch of bloody teeth on her, after which she begins screaming.

-The final moment takes place in a young boy's bedroom. He asks his teenage babysitter to close his closet door. She tries and tries, but it doesn't budge. She opens the door to see what's blocking it and Michael pops out, knife in hand.

Meanwhile, the reveal of a dark secret forces Archie and Jughead to try and ease tensions between the Bulldogs and Serpents, but it probably fails miserably since the Bulldogs (+Kevin of all people) take up blunt objects to go fuck up the local biker bar that serves minors, has minors as bartenders, and lets minors strip for adults.

Finally, on the eve of the mayoral debate, a mysterious message leaves everyone on edge.

New Star Wars Animated Series Announced "Star Wars Resistance" takes place before the Force Awakens

  • The show will take place before "The Force Awakens" and it's said to be anime-inspired

  • The show will be revolved around Kazuda Xiono (voiced by Hawaii Five-0's Christopher Sean) who is recruited by the resistance for a top-secret mission to spy on the growing powers of the First Order

  • Familiar faces such as BB-8, Poe Dameron, and Captain Phasma are set to show up in the series with Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie returning to voice their roles

  • Other voice actors include Suzie McGrath (East Enders), Scott Lawrence (Legion), Myrna Velasco (Elena of Avalor), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Bobby Moynihan (Duck Tales), Jim Rash (Community), and Rachel Butera (Tammy’s Tiny Tea Time)

  • Star Wars animation veteran showrunner Dave Filoni (Clone Wars, Rebels) is spearheading the show along with Athena Portillo, Justin Ridge, and Brandon Auman (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

  • The show is expected to air sometime in Fall first on Disney Channel then on Disney XD

John Legend reaches out to Kanye privately and Kanye tweets it out

This morning John Legend texted Kanye and asked him to reconsider what he was aligning himself with and the harm he was doing. Kanye replied by thanking him for the compliments, telling John he wasn't going to let John manipulate his thought, and tweeting out a screenshot of their exchange.

John seemed to take the sharing of their conversation fairly well.
