Conservatives complain that "Roseanne" is too liberal

Conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro tweeted his problems with the new Roseanne show, arguing that the series was too liberal despite the title character voting for Trump, citing how Roseanne accepted her gender nonconforming grandson and supported a woman's right to choose. "The whole premise of 'Roseanne' is that this pro-abortion, pro-LGBT woman who is happy to watch her grandson wear girls' clothing voted Trump -- because she's blue collar. That isn't an accurate depiction of Trump voters."

The third installment will be tentatively titled Bill & Ted Face the Music -- three decades after the last film. Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon reunited with Reeves and Winter back in 2007. “Chris and Ed came to us in 2007 with the idea of doing it,” Reeves said, “They pitched us an idea. It sounded great.” That was a decade-and-change ago. “I think it’s kind of like A Christmas Carol with Bill and Ted,” Solomon said. “Looking at their lives, and really kind of rediscovering what they’re about.” Galaxy Quest’s Dean Parisot has been attached as the director.

ABC: "Election Led to Roseanne, Idol Revivals; Look at Economic Diversity"

  • The New York Times is reporting that the morning after Donald Trump won the Presidential Election, executives held a meeting to address the lack of economic diversity on their network.

  • ABC had spent years cultivating shows from people of color, different religious backgrounds and different perspectives on gender but not taken on the reality of how other people in other economic brackets are living.

  • ABC President Channing Dungey said: "We had not been thinking nearly enough about economic diversity and some of the other cultural divisions within our own country.

  • Dungey sad this led them to revive both Roseanne and America Idol. He said "Idol is about the American Dream. It's about a girl with a cowboy hat and a boy with a banjo and people people from small towns where music has saved their lives in different ways.”

  • The article notes the ABC intends to continue greenlighting shows that show the other side of economic diversity. "In recent history we haven’t paid enough attention to some of the true realities of what life is like for everyday Americans in our dramas. We intend to take that into discussion in the future".

He is working with Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim: Uprising) on the script, and you can expect it in theaters June 11, 2021

The duo are also executive producers alongside Steven Spielberg. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are returning as producers.

1. Meredith pulled the plug on Derek without even telling his family before she did it.

2. When Izzie not only had a relationship with dead Danny they also had ghost sex. And how Lizzy didn't get something was wrong even though she's a doctor, lived with doctors and her BFF boyfriend was a lead neurosurgeon

3. When Arizona cheated on Callie and straight-up blamed her for amputating her leg...even though it saved her life.

4. When — yes, we have to talk about it — the musical episode happened. Grey's Anatomy is NOT the kind of show that can pull off an episode of only singing.

5. When Cristina didn't win a Harper Avery award because of the hospital's connection to the Averys, BUT then Meredith got the same award years later even though she's in the EXACT SAME situation.

- Sense8's final movie will be called "Amor Vincit Omnia" (translates to 'Love Conquers All')
- It'll be 151 minutes long (2 hours 31 minutes) which is long as hell for a movie.




A fan run into the actor that plays Whispers and he revealed the special will air sometime in May.



He also revealed there's a chance Season 3 could happen. Marketing team is not calling it a 'Series Finale', just a 'Finale'.
