It’s been almost 24 hours now sinc Britney Spears n Jason Trawic broke up and subsequently called off their engagement, and rumors have certainly been swirling, but now someone who worked on the set of a music video with Spears is speaking out to us exclusively, revealing details on what might have led to (or at least played a part in) the couple’s demise – and things weren’t all rainbows and butterflies and as perfect as they may have seemed. Then again, what relationshi i in Hollywood?

“Jason talked shit about Britney constantly,” ays the insider, adding,"Britney was out of it on set and it was most likely due to whatever medication she’s on. Personally, I don’t think she would even need to be medicated if she wasn’t forced to perform.”

When we asked our insider exactly what they meant by that, they said simply “She doesn’t want to perform. Britney doesn’t want to be “Britney Spears” anymore." Adding “She isn’t in a good place. The only thing stopping her from having another breakdown like she did a few years back is the fact that she knows she’ll lose everything; her boys…everything.”

Source.

My poor BB :(
Just to be clear, I don't believe this bullshit. I am pretty sure Jason is a good guy and they breakup wasn't as messy as "sources" claimed it to be.

10 of 2013's most anticipated albums

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

What 2012 lacked is solid pop albums from our favourite artists – but 2013 is sure to make up for this in spades. Or so we think.

There’s promise of new albums from ever-present pop heavyweights – lik Britney Spears, Lady Gaga n Beyoncé– and a handful of surprising comebacks fro Cher, David Bowie n Justin Timberlake.

Could these household names match past successes with their new albums? Or will 2013 be overridden by crescendoing buzz surrounding new faces lik Azealia Bank lololololo and Aussie indiefolkste Josef Salvat?hew

Britney Spears

Following her mostly flat stint as a judge on the US X Factor, Britney Spears is set to refocus her attention on music again in 2013. The American popstar garnered plenty of praise for her 2011 killer pop albu Femme Fatale, which yielded smash singles lik Hold It Against Me, Till The World End a I Wanna Go.

Although not much is known about the new album, it was teased in footage on the X Factor that Britney was back in the studio with hit producer Darkchild, who had produced smashes like Lady Gaga’ Telephone nd remixed Spears’ own singl Overprotected ome years ago.

Britney’s recent appearance on will.i.am’s sing Scream and Shout ght also hint that the Black Eyed Peas frontman will also be called in for her album.

Other names involved in the project so far include Danja (who famously produced Britney’s 2007 alb Blackout) and Grammy-nominated songwriter Elijah Blake (co-writer of Usher&rsquo Climax). Spears herself has stated that she’s working with “new, inspiring producers” for her eighth album.

Is the world ready for urban Britney 2.0?

Watch will.i.am and Britney’s Scream and Shout…

Lady Gaga

She took the pop world by storm, hurricane and all the forces of Mother Nature, but Lady Gaga has uncharacteristically pulled back from the limelight a little in the last few months to work on her third studio alb FARTPOOP, which is slated for a release before mid-2013.

The top-selling pop artist started writing and recording for her new album while she was still on the Born This Way Ball world tour.

Gaga has teamed up with producers from her first two albums Fernando Garibay, RedOne and DJ Shadow. She has also collaborated with electronic dance music artists Zedd and Madeon, and a few yet-unknown producers for good measure.

The pop artist mused on her social networking site Little Monsters th ARTPOP uld be released in two volumes, one bearing more commercial material and the second more experimental cuts, like those produced by RedOne.

Watch Lady Gaga performing Princess Die, a new song she wrote for ARTPOP.

Justin Timberlake

By now you would’ve heard that the actor Justin Timberlake is making a return to music this year and you might’ve already stumbled on mixed reviews of his comeback sing Suit & Tie eaturing Jay-Z). But I’m here to tell you that this is all going to be worthwhile.

It has been over six years since JT released the brillia FutureSex/LoveSounds lbum and frankly, while the masses are still expecting a sequel t SexyBack; I think the future for Justin Timberlake lies in classy, more mature soulful po O_o

The 20/20 Experience es the former-N*Sync heartthrob return to the studio with Timbaland, who fashioned his last album.

Suit & Tie a stylish, R&B slow jam that recalls a few seductive singles served by Robin Thicke. But ifFutureSex/LoveSounds anything to go by, JT could well have a few different sounds and styles percolating in this project that we aren’t expecting just yet.

The 20/20 Experience due for release later this year.

Listen to Justin Timberlake’s Suit and Tie:

Cher

It’s been 12 years since we last had a Cher studio album and while she’s doing pretty well for herself as a full-time Twitter personality, it’s time for the premiere goddess of pop to get back to work.

Cher’s upcoming 26th studio album is expected to be an “eclectic” mix of dance music styles, with the diva already touting it to be as defining as her 1998 alb Believe.

Her new sing Woman’s World, produced by Paul Oakenfold, is a slamming Eurodance anthem. And if that’s a taste of what’s to come, queens, hang on to your wigs. Some artists who have contributed to the new album include Lady Gaga and Pink.

Cher’s comeback album is slated for a late March 2013 release and we can expect announcement of a world tour to follow.

Listen to Woman’s World below.

Bleachoncé

All signs are pointing to a massive new era in music for beyoncé as she prepares to release her fifth, yet-untitled solo album this year.

Following the critically-lolled 2011 albu 4getful, which spawned massive singles lik Run The Charts(Nope) n Flop on Top; the favoured child of Destiny is threatening a full-bodied return to R&B music with her latest project.

In her latest interview with GQ, Beyoncé revealed that she’ll be serving up a blend of R&B with rock and soul influences – name checking influences from Prince, D’Angelo, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and a bit of 60s doo-wop music.

Collaborators on board include Pharrell (who produced Beyoncé’s first solo sing Work It Out), Timbaland, Justin Timberlake (who is also making a comeback this year himself) and The-Dream, who co-wrote Bey’s icon Single Ladies (Put A Ring on It). Rapper Homophobia Banks revealed in a chat with fans last week that she had recorded a rap verse for a Beyoncé album track, which may or may not appear in the final cut.

Although there’s no due date confirmed for Beyoncé’s new album as yet, the wind machine-ready diva is expected to premiere her new single at the end of her Superbowl Half Time Show next month.

The rest can stay at the Source.

I really can't wait to see what pop music has to offer this year, tbh.

It’s official: Elton John and David Furnish have welcomed their second child! The couple have confirmed the happy news to Hello! magazine, saying that their son Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was born last Friday weighing 8lbs 4oz.

“We are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement. Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable,” say the longtime couple, who are also parents to 2-year-old son Zachary. “The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement.”

Earlier last year David revealed their plans for another baby – and their hope to use the same surrogate– explaining, “I would like Zachary to have a sibling. I think he would be better with a sibling than on his own. It’s something we talk about all the time. But in terms of when, where and how, nothing’s decided yet.”

The Canyons SNUBBED By Sundance-- Is Lilo to Blame??

0
0

The producers of Lindsay Lohan's film, "The Canyons," are stunned that their flick has been rejected by The Sundance Film Festival and they think it's largely Lindsay's fault.

We're told the Sundance people reached out to producers to screen the movie, and we're told producers were led to believe it was a shoo-in.

But we found out Sundance passed on the film recently, and the film's producers believe it might be due in part to the hijinks of its troubled star.  They think Lindsay was a "turn off" to the highfalutin Sundance folks.

"The Canyons" producer, Braxton Pope, tells us his agents William Morris/Endeavor are having a screening for buyers at the end of the month and a number of big companies are interested.

We also spoke with Lindsay's co-star -- porn star James Deen -- who tells us he's not bothered about the Sundance diss ... saying, "It coincides with AVN (the porn awards). Priorities man!!!!!"

Robert Pattinson splits with Kristen Stewart for the second time, he wants to 'cool it off'

Robert Pattinson has reportedly dumped Kristen Stewart for the second
time.

The 26-year-old British actor, who reconciled with Kristen after her "momentary indiscretion" with married director Rupert Sanders last summer, is said to have ended their four-year relationship over the weekend.

A source told The Sun: "She flew to LA and was supposed to be Rob's date for the Golden Globes, but he told her he wants to cool it off. He loves her but would rather go back to being good friends so they can rebuild their trust and focus on work after Twilight."

"Kristen's upset but understands. She shouldn't have pushed him to reconcile after her infidelity. She's hoping he'll come round and time will be a great healer. He was getting so much pressure to ditch her. His friends told him to focus on his career and said she was wrecking his chances."

The insider also revealed that Kristen is now planning to move to New York and Robert will continue to live in Los Angeles. The friend said: "She feels people leave her alone there and she has a bit more peace."

News of the couple's split comes just days after they were spotted at a Golden Globes afterparty together.

The Twilight Saga couple put on a united front at Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's private celebration held at Soho House after the prestigious ceremony on Sunday night.

Robert looked dapper as he walked the red carpet, where he jokingly presented Tina with a rose. He then headed off to the party solo.

Meanwhile, Kristen avoided the Golden Globes altogether and arrived at the VIP after-party in altogether more casual attire at 1am. She teamed jeans and a baggy sweatshirt with trainers and a backwards cap, hiding her eyes behind shades as she snuck into the star-studded event.

Elementary: Jonny Lee Miller talks the Super Bowl, introducing Moriarty and MORE.

0
0

Elementary, which is a modern take on Sherlock Holmes in New York City, is not only one of the most popular new dramas on network television, but it will also have the coveted spot following the Super Bowl The freshman drama follows the eccentric, mischievous detective (played b Jonny Lee Miller) and his sober companion, Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu), as they come up against some formidable foes while using unorthodox methods to help the NYPD solve cases.

During the CBS portion of the TCA Press Tour, show star Jonny Lee Miller talked about how exciting it is to have so many people tuning in to the show, what a total surprise it was for the first-year series to get the spot after the Super Bowl, how he prefers to stay in the moment with his character instead of knowing what’s to come, how fun it is to play the darker side of Sherlock Holmes, how supportive fellow Sherlock Holmes acto Benedict Cumberbatc has been, what he thinks of the evolution of the Holmes-Watson relationship, and that he’s looking forward to the cat-and-mouse game between Holmes and Moriarity, now that the appearance of that character is getting closer to happening.  Hit the jump for the interview.

Question:  How did you react to hearing the news that you were one of the most-watched new shows?  Were you surprised?

JONNY LEE MILLER:  No, that’s not the kind of hunch that you get.  You don’t get hunches.  You hope for the best, but you try to do the best that you can.  You never, in your wildest dreams, imagine that.  Your first goal is to stay on the air, with any new show.  You just make the show you want to make, and make it as good as can.  But, to be given a full-season order was wonderful news for all of us.  That was really hugely exciting.  Anything else after that was really amazing.  You hear various permutations of numbers, who’s doing best, the demographics and all that stuff, and it can be quite confusing.  So, we tend to just concentrate on our work.

What did you think when you first found out that the show was going to air after the Super Bowl?

MILLER:  It was a total surprise!  It was a new thing to me.  I wasn’t aware of what the Super Bowl slot was.  So, when you find out, you’re just really excited because it means that we’re doing good and we’re doing something right.  We’re very, very happy.

When viewers irst met Sherlock, he was so troubled, but he seems to be getting a little bit better, as things go along.  Do you have any idea where you’d like to see him, at the end of Season 1?

MILLER:  I don’t know.  I don’t get involved that way.  I don’t really try to influence Rob [Doherty], in that way, because I feel that [the writers] know better.  It’s a journey of discovery, for me.  When you’re playing a character, you need to be discovering that, as him.  You don’t really want to have an opinion about where you’re going to end up.  Otherwise, you can’t really stay in the moment and in your character.

Is it fun to play the darker side of Sherlock Holmes?

MILLER:  Yeah.  You’re trying to bring a character to an audience, and tell stories.  That’s what we’re all trying do.  So, any time that you get to color that with history and emotion and those darker sides, which are a part of all of us, that’s really the bread and butter of what we do.  So, any chance that any of us get to do that is really great.  One thing I love about this character is that he’s quite raw, and his struggles are on the surface.  Hopefully, that makes it more enjoyable for people, and they can identify with that

Was Sherlock a good fit, right from the beginning, or was there a pivotal moment where it all seemed to click for you?

MILLER:  Yeah, it was a good fit.  It’s a wonderful character that had been.  The skeleton for the character was very strong, in the original script.  So then, you try to do that justice.  And then, getting into the literature, I can tailor that suit to fit me

Since you’re good friends, what does Benedict Cumberbatch think of your performance in this?

MILLER:  He sent me some messages, when he’d first seen the show, and it was really, really nice.  I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t have sent me a text message saying, “You suck!”  He’s been very supportive, the whole way.

Did you go through any kind of physical transformation to play this role?

MILLER:  I might have generally lost a few pounds.  We spend a lot of time on our feet.

Do you think this show is well on its way now, in establishing its own identity?

MILLER:  Yeah, hopefully.  That’s the intention, when you make a show.  And our show is very much our show.  It’s nice, you meet cab drivers, here or there, or whoever, and they know you as Sherlock Holmes.  That’s a thrill because we make our show for people.  If they’re watching the show and enjoying it, that’s all that matters really, to me

Some shows are always the same tone from week to week, but this show has a lot of tonal shifts.  Do you like that aspect of it?

MILLER:  When you’re shooting 20-odd episodes in a season, the last thing you want is for each script to be the same tone.  As long as we feel the characters are written with the same voice, that’s good for us.  And then, we try to fit into those different scenarios.  It’s a wonderful thing to have the difference.  It’s really good.

How has the Holmes-Watson relationship evolved for you?

MILLER:  It’s an incredible thing about this medium, working closely with another actor on a show where you’re there, all the time.  Your relationship in real life develops, and you become very close as a team, as we do with everyone that we work with.  And then, you get to keep doing that.  It’s not like we’re doing a run on a play where we do the same two hours every time, and then repeat that.  It’s constantly evolving.  It’s extremely interesting, and it’s a wonderful thing to be able to help each other.  It’s a real blessing to form a working relationship and a bond with someone that you love and respect so much.

What do you enjoy about living in Sherlock Holmes’ shoes?

MILLER:  He can be quite opinionated.  I really like it when he’s talking about subjects that he loves, whether it be lock-picking or bee-keeping.  I really love the hobby side of him, really.  I feel he finds the political stuff a little bit tedious and he’s not so wrapped up in such things.

Have you gotten interested in any of his hobbies?

MILLER:  I don’t really have time for any more hobbies, but it’s fascinating.  We get to bring single-stick into an episode.  And it’s wonderful having the bees around.  I learn a little bit more about bees, every time there’s a bee hive on set.  That’s the good thing about this job

Will you ever explain the tattoo?

MILLER:  No.  Maybe one day.  There’s a lot of explaining to do there.

What are the challenges in building suspense for characters like Irene Adler or Moriarty, over a number of episodes, without actually getting to have a physical person to interact with yet?

MILLER:  We keep a little bit of background and I know a little bit about what happens, so I just try to keep it there.  We’re not trying to show too much.  You just have an idea in your head about what went down, and we’re trying to only show people what they need to know, at the moment

Do you feel a lot of pressure, even mentioning those characters?

MILLER:  No.  We just approach it from a realistic point of view, for how it works in our story.  The other history is irrelevant, really

Are you looking forward to finally getting that cat-and-mouse game between Sherlock and Moriarty?

MILLER:  Yeah, a little bit.  I feel like he operates like that, anyway.  Every case is like that, for him.  He works pretty methodically, like that.

Jeremy Renner Is Going to Be a Dad, Ex-Girlfriend Is Pregnant!

Jeremy Renner shared some big news with Eva Longoria on the smoking patio at the Golden Globes Jan. 13: He's going to be a father! The Bourne Legacy actor, 42, "was saying, 'I'm going to fly in when her water breaks,'" two witnesses tell Us Weekly exclusively.

"Then Eva said, 'I'm so blown away.'" Shocking, but true. Multiple sources confirm to Us that an ex-girlfriend of the actor is due to give birth next month. "they used to date but it wasn't serious," explains one insider, adding that the expectant mom is currently living in Renner's L.A. home."

The Hollywood hunk is "being ultra-secretive about it," the insider adds, "but she has been going on about her life and not hiding it." Last April, the resolutely private actor shut down longstanding false rumors that he was gay, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "I want my personal life to be personal, and it's not f-cking true."

Rupert Murdoch Shares His Feelings

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Remember the story the other day about the 400 Lb. black woman who fell through the NYC sidewalk??? Of course you do. And of course some old white guy is sharing his opinion on how this woman got to be so fat…

Via Gawker

You may have heard about the woman who, last week, fell through a New York City sidewalk. The woman, a 32-year-old social worker who weighs 400 pounds and is 6'5", fell six feet into a basement, breaking her arm. She was otherwise uninjured, mostly because her size. "Thank God, they said that my size was the only thing that saved me," she told the New York Post. That was three days ago.

Rupert Murdoch, who owns the paper (NY Post) that broke the story, is just now catching up. His appropriate and compassionate response? Yes, food stamps are to blame, Rupert. Good call. There’s definitely nothing racist about assuming that an overweight black woman must be on welfare. Also, what an ideal time to discuss obesity and its effect on health care costs.

Holly Madison in Doghouse with Homeowners Association

holly-madison-300
Holly Madison is having a little trouble getting her neighbors to think pink

The forme Playboy in-up – and curren mom-to-be  is moving out of her home in the Rancho Circle neighborhood of Las Vegas after repeated complaints from the homeowners association over her pink doghouse, which is human-sized and built to accommodate he three pups, Louis, Napoleon and Josephine

"When I went over it with my contractor, he consulted the HOA on all their restrictions and whatnot," sh tol Las Vegas Weekly. "He told me it has to match the architecture of the house, so I did that with the roof because … it's possible you could see the roof from the street, but you can't see any of it from the street, actually."

In addition, the structure's creative color has also been a point of conflict for the association, which has repeatedly fined the star over it – not that Madison's taking their actions lying down

"It's a hundred dollars a month," she said. "I haven't been paying it. I just keep sending them nasty letters."

Luckily for Madison, when the doghouse was constructed, it was designed to be movable

"Yes, I'm going to bring it," she replied when asked if it will accompany her to her newest home.

Look Inside the L.A. Home Hayden Christensen Is Still Trying to Sell

0
0

After taking a break from the big screen, “Star Wars” star Hayden Christensen seems to be in demand again, with three films in the works, including this year’s upcoming warrior-action flick “Outcast,” co-starring Nicholas Cage. But things aren’t coming together for the 31-year-old quite as easily when it comes to real estate.

Christensen listed his 6,300-square-foot gated home in Studio City, California, nearly four months ago for $2.65 million, and later dropped the price of the 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom property by more than $150,000, to the current list price of $2.495 million. The house, located in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley, is currently still on the market.

The sleek, (and very bright and white) architectural house is certainly a stunner, with tons of floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors leading out to multiple yards, outdoor entertaining areas, and a salt-water pool. Inside, the home – which sits on three-quarters of an acre – boasts walnut floors, super-high ceilings, a step-down living room, and multiple fireplaces. Three of the bedrooms have attached terraces, and the entire third floor is dedicated solely to the gigantic master suite, according to the listing with real estate firm Hilton & Hyland. And if you’re too tired to make it up the stairs at the end of the night, there’s always the elevator.

Christensen purchased the place back in 2003 for $1.425 million, so chances are, in between “Star Wars” sequels, he did some major renovations. As for whether he’ll get his asking price, well, many similar-sized homes in Studio City have sold for even more than $2.5 million in the last year, so it’s probably only a matter of time. May the force be with you, Hayden!

See more photos of the home below, and check out the listing for even more shots.

I'm really sorry, Andrew Scott. I love you any everything, but Chris O'Dowd for all the awards. Also, I always feel awkward labelling Irish posts with the "British" tag when an "Irish" tag doesn't also exist :/

Lindsay Lohan Pays Her Bills By Playing The Real-Life Role Of A High Class Escort

Desperate for money, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is still living the high life by working as a professional escort, her father Michael Lohan and other insiders exclusively revealed in the new issue of Star magazine.

“She is getting paid to date rich men,” Michael said of his 26-year-old daughter. “Dina (Lindsay’s mother) is pimping her out – it’s disgusting!”

And it’s not just the Mean Girls star’s estranged dad who is dishing on her new source of income.

“The dates last for days, and the guys pay for everything – hotel, travel costs, food, whatever – as well as jewelry and other gifts,” someone close to the actress revealed.

So far, no one is suggesting that Lohan is doing anything more than act as arm candy for the rich playboys who like to be seen with beautiful and famous women.

One of Lindsay’s most high profile clients is the man who is third in line to the throne of Brunei, a small country in Southeast Asia: Prince Haji Abdul Azim.

A billionaire playboy who loves American celebrities, he allegedly paid Lindsay a whopping $100,000 to join him in London for a New Year’s celebration.

And wealthy Spanish-American painter Domingo Zapata reportedly supported the troubled actress for much longer than a holiday.

“Domingo let Lindsay live in his penthouse at the Bowery Hotel in NYC for free and at his L.A. pad at Chateau Marmont [for months],” says one of his confidantes. “They’re both super swanky. No way Lindsay could’ve afforded either of them for such long periods of time on her own.”

Lady Antebellum + Stevie Nicks collaborate on new CMT 'Crossroads' episode

Lady Antebellum will be joining forces with the rock-n-roll legend Stevie Nicks on an upcoming episode of CMT's Crossroads. Sharing the stage in Los Angeles, it will be a first-time collaboration for the Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter and Country trio, marking a significant event in music history. The episode is slated for later this year; no specific date has been set.

To put things into perspective, Nicks (writer of such massive classics as "Landslide" and "Rhiannon") is a multi-Grammy Award winner and Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Fleetwood's Rumors album is one of the best-selling collections of all time. Expanded and deluxe versions of the album are set for release on January 29.

Likewise, Lady A is one of the hottest Country groups on the scene with three studio albums to-date, moving a total of 11 million copies. The seven-time Grammy winners also have six No. 1 singles to their name and numerous other industry honors, including CMA Vocal Group of the Year. Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley will be dropping the lead single from a new album on Jan. 31.

Previously, Crossroads has featured such musical extravaganzas as Carrie Underwood and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, Mumford & Sons and Emmylou Harris and Jimmy Buffet and the Zac Brown Band. The once-in-a-lifetime series brings artists together from opposite ends of the spectrum to produce mind-blowing explosions.
