Unfortunately, Lady Gaga says she has no plans to mention Donald Trump during her halftime show at Sunday's Super Bowl. In an interview wit Atlanta's 98.5 KLUC, she explains that her performance will be dedicated to everyone in America.

"No," she says when asked if she'll have anything to say about Trump. "That's not what the show is about. The show is coming from my heart to everyone in America that I love so much. This is my country and I'm proud to be a pop star from this country. I've travelled the whole world and it's something special to be from America. I want people that watch the Halftime show to feel the greatness of the USA."

When pressed further on the issue and idea of using the show to go political, she continues:"Because I know I have a bigger stage that day and that I've had a lot of really big stages that I'm grateful for, you know the power of your voice. And I would like to use to that voice to bring people together on that day. Saying anything divisive would only make things worse. And that's just not what I want for my country."

After being a vocal opponent of Donald Trump and campaigning for Hillary Clinton in the election, this news is a bit dissapointing.

It is rumored that Gaga cannot say anything political under contract. The NFL has denied those reports.

In a radio interview the pop star was asked whether she was going to use the massive platform that is the Super Bowl to take a stand against Donald Trump, Gaga dismissed the question saying she believes the Super Bowl is not the place to make that statement since it's a family show.
"No. That’s not what the show is about. The show is something that is coming from my heart to everyone in America that I love so much. This is my country and I’m proud to be a pop star from this country. I’ve travelled the whole world and it’s still something special to be from America. I want people that watch the Halftime show that Pepsi Zero Sugar is putting on with us to feel the greatness of the USA. That part of it will be there,”

When pressed about the fact that she has a HUGE platform to take a stand against trump she replied:
"“Because I know I have a bigger stage that day, and I’ve had a lot of really big stages that I’m very grateful for, you know the power of your voice. And I would like to use that power to bring people together on that day. Saying anything divisive is only going to make things worse. And that’s just not what I want for our country. So, I’m going to take the stage with the wonderful dignity and love that my mother instilled in me when I was very little, and just do this one for the kids in America.”

On Friday, singer Michael Bublé posted a Facebook update about his three-year-old son Noah's ongoing treatment for liver cancer:

"We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy. He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage. We thank God for the strength he has given all of us.

Our gratitude to his doctors and caretakers cannot be put into words.
We'd like to thank the thousands of people that have sent their prayers and good wishes to us. As we continue this journey we are greatly comforted by your support and love."

Noah began chemotherapy back in November and is nearing the end of the of his 4-month treatment cycle. Bublé canceled all work engagements in the wake of the diagnosis in order to be with his son.

Mods, I posted this because although short, it's a really good and heartfelt interview.

    - David Miliband is the President and CEO of the IRC, an organisation that helps and resettles refugees around the world. UK people remember him as the former Foreign Secretary of the US and No 1 Banana fan.
    - David says that the ban is a propaganda gift for Al Qaeda and ISIS.
    - Says that the human side of the story is getting lost amidst all the statistics out there.
    - He brings on an Iraqi man who was affected by the ban. The audience claps and cheers them on.
    - David notes that it's harder to get to the US as a refugee than any other route, even before / without the ban. He adds that not only is it right to welcome refugees, it's smart.
    - You can visit if you want to volunteer or donate.

Before the San Antonio Spurs' Thursday night game against Philadelphia, head coach and Trump-hater Coach Pop was asked what Black History Month meant to him. In his response, he called racism and America's treatment of black people a "national sin" and discussed white privilege, citing Trump's conspiracy theories surrounding President Obama's birth/birth certificate.

"[Black History Month] is a celebration of some of the good things that have happened, and a reminder that there’s a lot more work to do. But more than anything, I think if people take the time to think about it, I think it is our national sin," Popovich said.

“It always intrigues me when people come out with, ‘I’m tired of talking about that,’ or ‘Do we have to talk about race again?’ The answer is: You’re damn right we do because it’s always there, and it’s systemic in the sense of when you talk about opportunity. It’s not about, well, if you lace up your shoes and you work hard you can have the American dream. That’s a bunch of hogwash.

“If you were born white, you automatically have a monstrous advantage educationally, economically, culturally and within the society. And all of the systemic road blocks that exist, whether it’s in the judicial sense, or the neighborhood sense with laws, zoning, education. We have huge problems in that regard that are very complicated, but take leadership, time, and real concern to try to solve. It’s a tough one because people don’t really want to face it. It’s in our national discourse.

“We have a president of the United States who spent four or five years disparaging and trying to illegitimize our president, and we know that was a big fake, but [he] still felt for some reason that it had to be done. I can still remember, a paraphrase close to a quote, ‘Investigators were sent to Hawaii and you cannot believe what they found.’ Well, that was a lie. If it’s being discussed and perpetrated at that level, then you have a national problem.”

Bonnie injected the cure into Stefan, and I think he's going to die in the finale. I think Stefan will sacrifice what's rest of his life for Damon. Damon will drink the cure from Stefan, to become mortal and get his endgame with Elena, and Stefan will rapidly age and die just like Katherine did.

Caroline is the only pro-vampire character on the show. Every other character, even the vampires, think being a killer is a bad thing and they should have a mortal life. How could she think that Matt would want to be a vampire? He hates vampires and the supernatural.

    In interview 2nd of February,

-On whether they like Theresa May: "Of course! Bit of girl power there"
(not the first time they've mentioned like for Theresa May, in interview with the Guardian when asked Jade said “Yes, I enjoy her but I’m not sure about the kitten heels.”)

-On whether Donald Trump should be allowed to visit the UK (the matter is currently being debated in UK parliament): "We welcome all visitors."

-When asked if they marched in the Women's march + if it's a stance they agree with + want to take up: "No I think we do it through our music mostly, we have a lot of girl power anthems, you know about making women feel confident encouraging them to stand up"

Hate to make similar post 2 days in row but we need a new trump post. If the name isn't recognizing, Theresa May is the UK prime minister for the conservative party, the one responsible for the Go home or face arrest vans. Trump is heartless idiot who conned his way into presidency.
