I went to see August Wilson's Jitney ($30 Under 30 tickets, y'all!) and it was excellent imo (and I was right in the second row so all the poor actors could actually see my dumb hearty-eyes and :-O faces, good lord), and then I waited at the stage door in the rain because I have no chill, and he was very sweet as he signed for a few people and I said I loved the show and then blurted out "I've been to two Moonlight Q&As but I was too nervous to say hi [to you], so, um, hi :)))" and he kind of laughed and went "aww thanks" and asked my name (!) and then introduced himself as he shook my hand, which was adorable because like YEAH, DUDE, I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. So humble! ♥
(and I am getting over a cold so idk what he smelled like. he's a little shorter than I expected [I'm 5'8"], but even moar talented & dreamy af. the end.)

That Dance Academy movie is actually happening - TRAILER
Back in April of 2015, it was announced that a Dance Academy movie was in the works. The Australian teen series followed the story of dancers at an elite ballet academy.
Well now it's extra official because there is a trailer!
“One of the things we really wanted to deliver with the film is that step up from being in the Academy, so being in the professional world. A dance scene that we spent the whole day filming we would’ve done before morning tea, just because of the pace of television” - Joanna Werner, executive producer
The movie is directed by Jeffrey Walker and written by Samantha Strauss (both from the original series). Samantha Strauss and Joanna Werner are the creators of the TV series.
Xenia Goodwin (Tara Webster), Dena Kaplan (Abigail Armstrong), Alicia Banit (Kat Karamakov), Jordan Rodrigues (Christian Reed, also in The Fosters), Thomas Lazey (Ben Tickle), and Keiynan Lonsdale (Ollie Lloyd, also in The Flash) return.
The film is shot in both Sydney and New York City and takes place eighteen months after the Season 3 finale (which ended in 2012). Tara is hoping to make a comeback after her injury. The movie will be released in Australian cinemas (April 6, 2017) and you can catch up on the TV series with Netflix.

The eight-episode “Shades of Shay,” set to premiere sometime in early 2017.
Each episode will follow her as she navigates the next chapter of her life, showing her on-set rehearsing lines for upcoming Screen Gems horror film “Cadaver” or hanging out with her besties. “Shades of Shay” is produced in association with Kids at Play and is executive produced by Mitchell, Jason Berger and Amy Laslett.
