Samantha Ronson: Paris Hilton Is An Insult To DJ's

0
0

LINDSAY Lohan's ex-lover Samantha Ronson has criticised Paris Hilton for attempting to launch a career as a DJ.

The socialite showed off her spinning skills by playing a short set at the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil last month.

However a technician was seen moving in to work the Pioneer decks for the novice throughout the set.

And Ronson is adamant she should leave the work to professionals.

She rages to TMZ.com: "That s*** with [Hilton], It's like, c'mon man. She's tried everything now. Just put some quality behind the s*** that you do.

"Put some effort into it... If you do the work, your work will speak for itself (but) if you're just like: 'Oh I want to figure out how I can make more money this week', it insults the people that work really hard at it...

"It's like me calling myself a doctor from reading (health website) WebMD twice."

Frank Ocean has another big surprise in store for his fans. According to whispers in the Twittersphere, the Odd Future crooner will release his long-awaited Def Jam debut Channel Orange to iTunes tonight.

Ocean revealed the unexpected news during a taping of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” earlier today. The talk show host had teased a “big announcement” as well. Several fans who were in the audience leaked the news to Twitter following the taping.

“Am I allowed to say? Frank Ocean’s album is out TONIGHT on iTunes, at 12:30 AM when Fallon airs. Smart move,” wrote Lindsey, a fan who attended Monday’s taping.

Ocean’s manager Kelly Clancy also tweeted, “i wouldn’t miss frank ocean on fallon tonight…trust me… ‪#channelorange‬.”

The album’s early digital release comes a week before it was originally scheduled to arrive on July 17. Physical copies still won’t hit stores until then.

During his appearance on “Late Night,” Ocean also performed “Bad Religion,” a song off Channel Orange that raised questions about his sexuality.

The 17-track follow-up to 2011’s Nostalgia, Ultra features André 3000 (“Pink Matter”), Earl Sweatshirt (“Super Rich Kids”), and John Mayer (“White”).

Hollywood to Remake Ramayana with Sallu, Keanu & Gary Oldman?

0
0

Most actors are playing superheros these days. But Salman Khan might just essay the role of the original superhero Hanuman. It seems Hanuman will take over from Spiderman, Superman, Batman, and of course, G.One.

Reportedly, Salman has been approached to play Hanuman in the modern version of the epic Ramayana that will be set in New York. The story is based on the rebirth of Hanuman.

Initially, Aamir Khan was approached for the role, but things did not work out. We assume Aamir has been keeping extremely busy with his TV show and upcoming films.

Apparently, Shilpa Shetty and Hollywood star Keanu Reeves will play Rama and Seeta, and Gary Oldman (um, Gary's not a Hollywood star?!) will essay (what is the obsession with this word rme) the role of Raavan.

If Salman gives his nod for the film, this would definitely be the most unique and different movie done by Sallu (fan nickname for Salman Khan).

While he has successfully built his image of an 'action hero' from being the romantic chocolate boy (lolwut), playing a superhero is something Salman hasn't done till yet. (ESL fail on whomever wrote this.)

Salman has also been approached to play Iron Man in the Hindi remake of the film The Avengers.

However, not everyone in the Hindu community, both in India and the US, are excited about the upcoming film.

Hindu leaders in America are concerned Keanu's reported portrayal of the incarnation of Lord Vishnu in a new movie will be another awful Hollywood depiction of their religion, belief system and gods."Top Hindus are still reeling from the way Mike Myers poked fun at their religion in The Love Guru, and they fear Reeves' new film Hanuman, in which he'll play Rama, will be another misinformed film about Hinduism.

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed tells WENN, "Hindus are concerned. If the makers of this proposed movie intend to base the storyline on the epic Ramayana and make references to it or portray Hindu gods/goddesses in the movie, we would urge the makers to stay true to the story and the spirit of the timeless epic and other Hindu scriptures."

For those of you who don't know, Ramayana is an ancient Sanskrit epic about the life and journey of Rama, an avatar of Vishnu. It's not just a story, it's an insanely important part of Hindu history, philosophy, religion, etc. It's not a joke. (Read more about Ramayana at Wikipedia.) I think if it's done tastefully, it could be amazing, and I would love to see more Hindu influence in the Western world. ETA: Thank you to all of the Hindu ONTDers who are leaving comments -- it's very interesting to read your feelings and thoughts. I have read a shortened (and English translated) version of the Ramayana, and I grew up with several Hindu friends, but to me it's just brilliant literature as I am an Anglo-American Christian.

Kourtney Kardashian Burning Baby Q's:

Why the Name Penelope? How Was the Birth Kept a Secret for So Long?

Ah, what's in a name?
Well, when it comes the Kardashians, we naturally can't help but wonder why Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick decided to call their newborn baby daughter, Penelope Scotland.
So just how did such a lovely name originate?
MORE: Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick Welcome a Baby Girl!
It seems the now-parents-of-two simply thought the name Penelope was cute, family matriarch Kris Jenner told E! News.
As for the middle name Scotland, it was actually Jenner's mom who suggested it while Kourtney was pregnant and both Kourtney and Scott really liked it.
Meanwhile, word of little Penelope entering the world was kept under wraps for several hours after her arrival. How was that even possible in this day and age?
Though Jenner didn't give us an exact time of birth, she said it was "very early Sunday morning," so that certainly helped with the lack of detection.
What's more, the entire Kardashian clan mutually agreed to go on communication lockdown—no tweeting or blogging to tip people off—until Kourtney had successfully checked out of the hospital on Sunday night.
Of course, now that the cat is out of the bag, everybody's talking about it!

Flawless Literature hit 20 million copies!!! <333333333333333333

'Fifty Shades of Grey' Author Earns $50 Million ---- U.S. sales of the "mommy porn" trilogy hit 20 million copies.

As of July 2, sales stood at 9.8 million paperbacks and 9.6 million ebooks for a total of 19.4 million copies sold. Add in another 12 million books sold abroad, and worldwide sales top 31 million copies since Vintage published the three-book series in March.

Such sales figures for a hit series are not unusual -- the Twilight series saw similar sales figures by the publication of the fourth and last book in series -- but what is shocking is the speed at which Fifty Shades has hit the 20 million-copy plateau. It took Twilight more than three years to hit that mark; Fifty Shades did it in less than six months.

The sales are producing enormous earnings for author E.L. James. Using roughly standard royalty rates of 7 percent for paperbacks and 25 percent for ebooks James has earned $35 million on U.S. book sales alone. Add in the $5 million she received for the movie rights from Focus Features, and her take is up to $40 million. International royalties are harder to assess, but even a conservative assessment of $1 per book puts James’ international earnings at more than $11 million.

James’ total take for Fifty Shades in less than six months? At least $50 million and counting.

Not bad for a project that started as a takeoff on Twilight posted to a fan fiction site and written to help James deal with her “midlife crisis.”

Big Dick Richie, Magic Mike, Ken, and Dallas do interview

0
0

Channing Tatum digs in to a meal of pizza, steak salad, and spaghetti at a restaurant in New York's West Village. ''This is the post-photo-shoot diet,'' he says with a smile. (His drink of choice: a plastic cup of Jack Daniel's that he brought from the shoot across the street.) The feast is a mini-reunion for Tatum and his Magic Mike costars Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, and Joe Manganiello, who settle into backslapping like old pals. ''Sorry, we'll get around to actually answering questions in a minute,'' says Tatum, 32. ''We're just catching up.''

They cover a lot of ground — Johnny Cash, college football, celebrity chefs. It takes a while before anyone even brings up how Tatum's career has changed since shooting wrapped on Steven Soderbergh's Magic Mike last fall. The actor, who's married to his Step Up costar Jenna Dewan-Tatum, has officially landed on the A list thanks to a pair of hits: the romantic drama The Vow, which opened to $41.2 million in February, and the March action comedy 21 Jump Street. Even McConaughey is impressed. ''The $41 Million Man,'' he says, pointing at Tatum. ''I've never been that.'' The praise rolls right off Tatum. ''You go at it just as hard on every film,'' he says. ''Some of them work, and some of them don't.''

Hoping to nudge Magic Mike (out June 29) into the former category, the guys want to make one thing very clear: Their movie is not a male Showgirls. Yes, it's an R-rated story about a handsome kid (Alex Pettyfer) who gets recruited by a stripper (Tatum) to join an all-male revue comprising dancers with names like Dallas (McConaughey), Ken (Bomer), and Big D--- Richie (Manganiello). And yes, it has some of the wildest, campiest stripping scenes ever seen in a studio film, making good use of body paint, rip-away policeman uniforms, and skimpy thongs. But Tatum, who worked as a stripper in his teens and pitched his story to Soderbergh, says the movie is less about naked ambition than about ''that feeling of 'I had a plan, the plan went to s---, now I don't know what to do.''' Besides, unlike Showgirls, ''this movie is intentionally funny,'' says Manganiello with a laugh. ''In one scene, I'm painted gold with a fig leaf over my d---, dry-humping 200 women.'' And on that note...

EW Channing, this whole movie was your idea. How did the rest of you react when you got a call about playing a stripper?

Joe Manganiello I heard that Matt [Bomer] had also gotten the offer. We were drama school classmates at Carnegie Mellon, so I called him and I was like, ''Dude, are you going to do this male-stripper movie or what?'' And then the next question was ''Are you seriously going to go waxing, too?''

Matt Bomer And my answers were yes, and yes.

EW They told you to wax for the movie?

Channing Tatum Yeah, you can't be a hairy stripper.

Manganiello I have no [body] hair.

Tatum I actually don't have any hair either, but I mean, you can't really even have hair down there. [To Manganiello] Do you have hair down there? Or are you like a baby?

Manganiello I...you know...I...I adhere to proper grooming techniques.

Tatum You manscape?

[Manganiello nods.]

Matthew McConaughey You did? Before this movie?

Manganiello Yeah, man. I'm Sicilian and Armenian, okay? You gotta do something. [Laughs]

EW Channing, people are going to assume the movie is a kind of autobiography for you.

Tatum This isn't a movie about my life. [The plot] has nothing to do with me other than that there's an 18, 19-year-old kid coming into this world. That's it. [But] I think the world is pretty damn accurate. Everything you see in the movie is stuff that I saw.

EW You play a veteran stripper who ropes a young kid into your act. Is that not how you really got started?

Tatum No. Actually, my buddy Adam and I both heard the same radio ad that was saying they were looking for dancers. We showed up the same night, auditioned, and got the job. And that's how we originally wrote the movie. Eventually, it kind of morphed.

EW When that video of you stripping leaked online in 2009, it surprised a lot of people. Do you know how it got out?

Tatum The guy who owned my [club] taped one night and ended up selling the clip. I didn't know they were taping it, but it wouldn't have mattered. At that time, I didn't think I was going to be an actor.

EW Hollywood seems to be okay with the fact that you used to be a stripper. Do you think the reaction would've been the same if you were a woman?

Tatum That's a good question. I think it would depend on how good an actress I was. I think if it turned out that Meryl Streep used to be a stripper, nobody would care.

EW Did anyone try to tell any of you guys not to do a stripper movie?

Manganiello I was shooting [What to Expect When You're Expecting] in Atlanta with Chris Rock when this script came in. And I was like, ''Should I do it?'' And he's like, ''Ooh...male strippers, I don't know.'' And I was like, ''If I do this movie, guys are going to hate my guts.'' And Chris Rock is like, ''Motherf---er, guys are gonna hate your guts anyway. Brad Pitt spent 15 years with his shirt off, he's doing just fine. Who's directing?'' And I go, ''Soderbergh.'' And he goes, ''Who's in it?'' And I go, ''Channing, McConaughey...'' He goes, ''Do the f---ing movie!'' And I was like, ''All right!''

Tatum [To McConaughey] What did your mom think?

McConaughey Mom thought it was a hoot right off the bat. She was like, ''This one I gotta see!'' I didn't really seek anyone's advice. This is one of the few times I've ever said yes to a part over the phone. It was [because of] who was talking to me. Soderbergh. He pitched this story and I was on two knees laughin' my ass off.

Tatum I think Soderbergh really wanted your character to be kind of dark and kind of evil. There were a bunch of names being thrown around. Billy Bob Thornton came up, Clooney came up. But as soon as I said your name, everyone was just like, ''Yup! That's it! Done.''

EW Matthew, a lot of photographers have probably sent their kids to college with the money they made selling photos of you shirtless at the beach. Were you worried about playing into that image?

McConaughey [Deadpans] This was a new challenge. I had to be pantless.

[Tatum chokes on his food laughing.]

Tatum I didn't look at it like that till now.

McConaughey Look, I was running around with no shirt on long before anyone was taking pictures of me. And I'll keep running around with no shirt on long after.

Manganiello You were the pioneer. The trailblazer for us to come behind.

McConaughey The movie just sounded fun. And it was something that was scary. For me, the character was a mix of Jim Morrison and Malcolm McDowell in A Clockwork Orange.

Manganiello In a thong.

McConaughey With the leathers on. [Laughs] Soderbergh said, ''It's not in the script now, but it would be great if Dallas dances at the end.'' And that's a scary thing. You're going to go up there and dance on screen, and you're gonna be 40 feet tall for the rest of all time? Well, that was a scary proposition. And it was a big, fun part of saying yes to the role. Because I was like, if I'm in a stripping movie and I don't try it, I'm gonna regret that.

EW The rest of you guys must have thought about that too — being almost naked on a movie screen for eternity.

Bomer The whole idea terrified me. That's part of why I wanted to do it — not just to work with these great actors and Steven. It pushed the envelope and made my family go, ''What?'' [Laughs]

Manganiello When I came in for a meeting with the casting director, she hadn't seen True Blood. So she said, ''Are you going to be comfortable with partial nudity?'' And I go, ''Have you seen my show? I'm the poster child for that.''... [Now] I have the footage that I want played at the Oscars' ''In Memoriam'' when I die: either the scene where I was painted gold, or the penis pump [scene].

EW You're talking about that shot in the movie where we actually see a stripper putting his penis into some kind of pump, but we can't see who it is? Are you saying it's you?

Manganiello [Smiling] People are going to have to go to the theater to find out.

EW You all show a lot of skin in this movie. What did your significant others think of that?

Tatum My wife knew this was my life. She loves the movie. She's like, ''That's hilarious, that's hot.''

McConaughey From the get-go, Camila was like, ''Go for it, baby!'' She was on the set.

Bomer Simon was totally cool with it. He's totally supportive of me as an artist. He's like, ''Go do your thing, and let me know how it goes when you get back home.''

Manganiello I was single when I signed on, so it was more about ''How is this going to affect my dating life?''

EW And how has playing Big D---Richie affected your social life?

Manganiello I think there's a lot of curiosity floating around about my character's name. [Laughs]

EW What was it like dancing almost naked?

Manganiello There's that moment where you come off the stage for the first time and you're sitting alone backstage in your thong, sweating, basically coming out of a trance, thinking, ''What did I just do?'' It's like waking up out of a blackout covered in blood. You're like, ''What just happened? Can I go to jail for this?''

Bomer I'll definitely never forget the time Channing came up to me when I was doing [my routine] Dr. Love. And I was like, ''What should I do different?'' And you were just like, ''Grind your junk in her face.'' And I'm like, ''All right, I'm gonna do it!'' And she started [getting intimate]. She would not just sit by and be passive. She was like, ''Oh, I'll tango with you.''

Manganiello And apparently she went back to her table and turned to her girlfriend — it turned out she was a lesbian — and she says, ''My mother would be so proud of me right now!''

[Everyone bursts out laughing.]

Tatum [Tears in his eyes] Oh my God, bro.

McConaughey I did not know that.

EW You all clearly get along well. I imagine this movie was a good bonding experience.

Tatum Actors, generally, if we finish our scenes early one day, we go home. It wasn't like that on this set. Especially during the dances — we were there cheering everybody on.

McConaughey Everybody was there.

Manganiello You didn't want to miss anything. You didn't want to miss the party.

Tatum And that is the stripper world. It is a camaraderie of guys doing wild stuff. You want everyone to succeed and bring down the house, and you get excited when they do.

EW Girls will see this movie. Gay guys will see this movie. Will straight guys?

Tatum I'm not going to be the guy who sits here and says, ''Yeah, they're all totally gonna go see it!'' I think I'm smarter than that. But I challenge them to go see it and not have a good time. It's not some chick flick. We didn't make it specifically for the gay community or the chick community.... This is supposed to be hilarious. And if guys don't get that, they're just insecure. Boogie Nights is one of my favorite movies of all time. Did I have a problem going in and seeing Marky Mark's penis down to his knee? No. Not at all. I was like, ''That's awesome. Good for you, buddy.'' If you can't get the joke, then you're missing out.

McConaughey The challenge will be guys going the first weekend. Because I one-hundred-percent feel that any guys who see it are going to go, ''Aww, f--- yeah!'' But we need to get them there the first weekend.

Manganiello There is a lot of male wish fulfillment. What guy wouldn't want to show up to work, drink their face off with a bunch of bros, have women scream and grope them and stuff money in their pants, and then repeat? You get up there and the women are crazy. I mean, there are husbands who are going to divorce their wives when they see what their wives were doing as extras on this movie. [Points at McConaughey] They ripped his thong off!

EW Really? Unscripted during a scene?

Manganiello We have it on film.

Tatum It was a collection of women being like, ''I have to tip him,'' and then the weight of all the dollar bills in their hands just took it off.

blue steel

EW What do you do when that happens? Do you just throw your hands up?

McConaughey You don't throw your hands up. [Laughs] Actually, I stayed in sequence. I went for the tuck. [Mimes covering his manhood] I went for the roll. [Mimes doing a forward roll] And I finished the dance.

EW On film sets there are always makeup and costume people fussing over every inch of the actors. So I have to ask, was somebody on crotch duty when you guys were in thongs?

McConaughey Every man was in charge of his own c--k.

Bomer We were rarely even powdered on our face. Once we were out on set, we were pretty much left to our own devices.

McConaughey All that stuff you do to get ready before you go out, whether it was makeup, tanning, or getting your junk right, that's what our characters really would've been doing before the show. [For us] the wall between what was behind the camera and what was in front of the camera became invisible. You never knew: ''Is [Soderbergh] shooting me while I'm back there getting ready?'' So if he was, you had to be doing what your character would be doing anyway.

Bomer After the first day, I was like, ''I'm just going to pretend I'm in a documentary. Because I don't know what's going to get [filmed].''

Tatum What I love about Soderbergh is that he's not trying to micromanage anything. He hires the best actors he can find and gives them full rein. If you show up and you haven't done the [preparation], it's over for you. [I bet that happened w/ Pettyfer]

Bomer You're toast.

Tatum You're probably going to get cut out of the movie.

EW Did that make it hard to get out of character at the end of the day?

Bomer I was in my sister's wedding right after we finished filming. And on the dance floor at the reception, I was like [starts doing a sexy dance move]. And I was like, ''Whoa! I'm not on the set of Magic Mike anymore. I can't take it down low there like that at my sister's wedding.'' [Laughs] It took me a couple months to shake this movie off.

EW Did any of you keep souvenirs?

Bomer I kept the cat's-eye necklace Ken wore. It's just a reminder of a fun time.

Tatum Yeah, I kept everything. I definitely have all my thongs.

McConaughey I kept all of my wardrobe.

EW All of it? Do you think you'll ever use any of it again?

McConaughey [Grinning] I already have.

They All Started Somewhere

Magic Mike is based on an early chapter in Channing Tatum's life. We asked his costars if they had any pre-fame experiences that would make a great Soderbergh movie. Here's what they had to say.

Joe Manganiello was once hired to dress up as Captain Morgan at Pittsburgh-area bars. ''They gave me this backpack filled with rum and said, 'Go get everybody drunk.'''

''I worked on a [gas] pipeline. It was definitely blue-collar,'' jokes Matt Bomer, who now stars on USA's White Collar. ''Folks weren't afraid to chew tobacco and smoke cigarettes at the same time.''

Matthew McConaughey says a script about his teenage sojourn in Australia is in the works. ''I showed up at Warnervale, population 305, and that was home for the year.''

Highlighted parts, but the whole interview is fun and hasn't been posted. Matt Bomer says beautiful things as always. And neux haters this movie is not old news, just look at imdb atm.

Pro-Anorexia Site "Skinny Gossip": Kate Upton Is a "Fatty"

0
0

Sure, she's a crush object for men all over the world (and a major source of envy for women) but to pro-anorexia site Skinny Gossip, Kate Upton is just plain -- well, fat.
According to the site's anonymous author "Skinny Girl" (via Gothamist), the Sports Illustrated cover girl has "huge thighs, NO waist," and "big fat floppy boobs."

"She looks like a squishy brick. Is this what American women are 'striving' for now? The lazy, lardy look?" Skinny Girl snipes about the "piggie" 19-year-old. "Have we really gotten so fat in this country that Kate is the best we can aim for? Sorry, but: eww!" (In an effort to drive her point home, the writer tagged her Upton post with terms like "Thunder Thighs" and "Fatty.")

After her article received intense backlash, Skinny Girl issued a response, defending her disturbing views.

"As a thin person, I was annoyed by our double-standards around weight. For example, people think nothing of telling a thin woman -- to their face, in front of an entire group of people -- how skinny they are and even to suggest what they should eat," she writes.

And while Skinny Gossip's author asserts her site is not pro-anorexia -- just "pro skinny" -- Gothamist points out that, for years, the blog has posted a "Starving Tip of the Day."
One example of the advice she offers is, "Compete!! Compare your body to your friends' and coworkers' bodies. Are you the thinnest? If not, why not?"

As for Skinny Girl's ultimate credo? "Live by the scale and the measuring tape," she advises.

Carrie Underwood may have recorded “Independence Day,” but it is Kelly Clarkson who makes American Idol history today, July 4, as the latest sales figures from Nielsen SoundScan confirm her current hit, “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” to be the best-selling Idol single of all time, surpassing the long-time champion, Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.”

“Stronger” has sold 3,510,000 singles as of today, beating “Before He Cheats,” which has moved 3,509,000 copies since its release in 2006. “Stronger” ruled The Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks, making it Clarkson’s longest-running No. 1 (“A Moment Like This” reigned for two weeks in 2002 and “My Life Would Suck Without You” ruled for two weeks in 2009). “Stronger” went to No. 1 on 11 different Billboard charts, including Hot Digital Songs, Adult Top 40, Hot Dance Club Play and the Adult Contemporary tally, where it is in pole position for the fifth consecutive week.

“Before He Cheats” peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100 and was on the chart for 64 weeks. Only five songs in the 54-year history of this survey have had longer runs. On Hot Country Songs, “Before He Cheats” was No. 1 for five weeks in November-December 2006.
“Stronger,” which rebounds 22-21 in its 27th week on the Hot 100, recently surpassed “No Air” by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown, which was the previous Idol sales runner-up to “Before He Cheats.” “No Air” peaked at No. 3 on the Hot 100 in 2008 and has sold 3,437,000 copies to date.

While Clarkson has bested Underwood’s record for best-selling single by an Idol, the latter is still ahead in total domestic album sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Underwood has sold 13,205,000 albums to date and Clarkson is close behind with 11,664,000. That fulfills a prophecy made by Simon Cowell during the fourth season of American Idol. The theme was Billboard’s No. 1 hits and Underwood sang Heart’s “Alone.” In his comments after her performance, Cowell said, “Not only will you win this show, you will sell more records than any other previous Idol winner.”

It seemed like too bold a prediction in light of Clarkson’s success. Turns out, he was right. “I’m sure he must love that, doesn’t he?” Underwood laughs. But how did she feel at the time Cowell made that pronouncement? “I was very flattered and very happy,” she recalls. “But then I thought, ‘What are the other contestants going to think? They’re going to hate me.’ And it could have worked against me if people didn’t like Simon and were rooting for someone else.”
Just counting digital downloads of singles, Clarkson wins the race with 24,100,000 copies sold as of today, ahead of Underwood’s sales total of 22,535,000 digital songs.

Hey-o KCE peeps!

Possible X Factor hosts; Mario Lopez? Stacy Keibler? Khloe Kardashian?

Simon Cowell doesn’t want to make the same mistake twice.

The X Factor chief is taking his own sweet time finding the ideal host for the second season of the Fox version of his hit show. Unlike last year, when host-bot Steve Jones handled the show solo, Cowell wants two people for the gig this fall. And instead of having a host on the singing competition from the very start, the audition rounds (which are already being shot) will be host-free. “I want to work with a boy and girl and I definitely think this is a role for two people,” Cowell recently told reporters. “[We] have narrowed it down to 5 people.”

Some names we’re hearing are under consideration: BET personality Rocsi Diaz, actor and America’s Best Dance Crew host Mario Lopez and actress/model Stacy Keibler. Add to that some names E! Online is hearing: Khloé Kardashian, Kelly Osbourne, BET’s 106 & Park host Terrence J, sportscaster Erin Andrews and radio personality Mike Catherwood. UPDATE: Two more names sources say have been considered: VH1 sketch comedy actress Stevie Ryan and Vampire Diaries actress Katerina Graham.

Sources emphasize that prospective hosts are still being interviewed and actual testing for the gig is not expected for several more weeks. “They want to make sure the duo has chemistry,” one insider said.

“If you count, which I did, over a two-hour show, we separated what the host says, and it’s 12 minutes — and a lot of that is quite boring information,” Cowell told reporters. “There are ways of relaying information that it doesn’t become like a news reader’s role. Like if I go on Jay Leno’s show, I love doing it with someone else because you bounce off each other and it puts less pressure on me and I enjoy the interview more. When the hosts are facing four judges, I think it’s very intimidating and I think you need another opinion.”

Of course, American Idol famously started with two hosts, before Ryan Seacrest consumed the gig. “What happened in America is that it ended up with one because they didn’t get the right second person. I always thought it was a two-person job,” Cowell says. “Ryan would obviously disagree agree with that.”

Fox and X Factor reps declined comment.

Love is Blind, So Are These Items

This diminutive Hollywood actor is a darling with critics and fans alike. No surprise there, he's been appearing in movies since he was a tyke and headlined a franchise with plenty of geek appeal. Though he's beloved by many, our little leading man tends to strike out with the ladies. You'd think they'd stare into those big blue eyes and fall head over heels, but alas that just isn't the case.

Perhaps that's why he's nursing a particularly intense crush on a certain boisterous music star. Celebs get crushes too and this one is a doozy. Is it the pink hair, the over the top costumes, or her famously pneumatic figure? Whatever it is, our boy is absolutely smitten and takes to buying up any and all merchandise associated with his loquacious lady love.

2.

But is it unfair of us? They’re not the only ones. Why am I so kind to the beloved gay actor who adores his wife, who is his life partner, while loving his serious boyfriend? In public they front like theirs is a legit hetero situation too. In that case they are honest in private. She knows, they all know, their friends know, an entire community knows, and no one is trying to suppress or change it; they just stop short of the press release.

3.

They're two of Hollywood's most sought after rising stars, beautiful girls with newfound box-office clout and bright futures. If you read the puff pieces in fashion rags you'll believe that these ladies have it all - designer clothes, sought after parts and of course handsome boyfriends. The PR spin would like to ignore the truth.

Fact is these two can't keep their hands off each other. What started as a drunken fling during awards season has become an on again, off again not quite relationship complete with X-rated texts and hacker ready camera phone shots. Not to mention the covert hookups whenever the gal pals are in the same city. Girl number one likes the attention (and the oral) but wants to keep things casual. Girl number two is ready for something serious and thinks this might be love - too bad her heavy handed handlers are eager to put an end to her sapphic shenanigans.

4.

Because of strict religious rules growing up, this male C list actor still has a lot of guilt about, er, self-pleasure. He recently told a source that he still can’t be with a woman for several weeks after he’s done it, because he still continues to feel so much shame.

5.

The camera loves Mr. Handsome - if only audiences felt the same way. After a string of domestic disasters, he's been feeling ready to throw in the towel & head back to his homeland - hunks have feelings too and being labeled box office poison doesn't sit well with anyone.

Lately it seems like porn is the only thing to cheer Mr. Handsome and as a result he's been watching more of it than is healthy. He sits in his apartment for hours scouring the internet for the strangest, most depraved things he can find - particularly if they involve balloons, or women crushing things beneath their heels and to think critics called him boring!

6.

She's pregnant and that should be a wonderful thing, only she's not so sure who the father is. Is it her doting husband or is it the lothario co-star she hooked up with while filming. Until she figures it out she's going to act like nothing is wrong, but the secret is killing her and friends are starting to notice her increasingly erratic behavior.

7.

For some actors more is more; particularly the flagrant chubby chasers who engage in publicity stunt relationship after publicity stunt relationship, but refuse to let their true desires come to light. There's nothing sexy about only agreeing to spend time with your real girlfriend when you're miles away from the paparazzi and no one is there to see, yet parading your latest faux-conquest in front of the whole world. Onlookers have always found something a little suspect about this dude's romances, but most assumed this was just another case of the celluloid closet. Turns out our guy is definitely a ladies man, but only the plus size need apply. Of course he's too cowardly to ever show this side in public - image is everything and with his star rising faster than ever Chub Lover is not taking any chances.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. BLESS.

Hannah Murray Replaces Elle Fanning In 'God Help The Girl'; Emily Browning Joins The Film

It was perhaps inevitable that Stuart Murdoch of Belle & Sebastian was going to move into filmmaking. For anyone who has followed the band over the years, you know that each album has usually arrived with an extensive story build around it, with appropriately theatrical artwork to go with it. Well, following a Kickstarter campaign and with the support of "Rushmore" producer Barry Mendel, the pieces all came together this spring for "God Help The Girl" with Elle Fanning and Brit actor Olly Alexander nabbing roles, but it looks like with production set to get underway, some changes have been made.

Bleeding Cool noticed (on the now disabled) site for Troika Talent that "Skins" star Hannah Murray has apparently replaced Elle Fanning -- who is tied up at the moment shooting "Maleficent" -- in the role of Cass and will be featuring alongside Emily Browning. The role of Cass is described to be a girl who recently moved from Glasgow, "or the far south of England (you decide)" as the official site says, so the switch from an American actress to a Brit should be fine. As for Browning, she likely nabbed the part of Eve, whose nationality was left open during casting, so she'll fit quite easily into the film, and having already delivered some her own songs for the "Sucker Punch" soundtrack, she'll have the pipes need for the role that requires the most singing.

The film, said to be inspired by the French New Wave of Truffaut and Godard, the early post-punk movement in music, pop musical movies of the 70's and 80s, and the films of John Hughes, Bruce Robinson and Bill Forsythe, follows James (Alexander), a cynical guitarist who accompanies Eve's singing and becomes a mentor to Cass, a teen who tags alongside the duo as she learns to play the guitar. The movie is based around the album of the same name released in 2009.

Production is set to get underway for three weeks this month, and we presume more official word will be arriving shortly. But the cast looks strong nonetheless, and the music is sure to be great and we're just glad things are continuing to move forward on the project.

NBC has yet to announce advisers for the show's three other coaches, Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green and Adam Levine.

Adele due to give birth in two months

0

Most expectant parents can't wait to announce their news as soon as they are given that all-important three-month scan.
But not Adele, who kept her pregnancy under wraps until the last minute, after reports today said she is due to give birth in two months.
The award-winning singer, 24, announced she was expecting her first baby with boyfriend Simon Knoecki, 36, on June 30.

But according to heat, the singer is due to have her baby in September, meaning she was six months pregnant when she went public.
In hindsight, all the clues were there before she revealed her news - she didn't fly to the States for the Billboard Awards in May even though she won 12 gongs.

And she arrived at the Ivor Novello Awards in London a week later dressed in a very loose fitting black dress.

She also snuck in late and refused to speak to the press or pose for photos, even though she is usually very chatty and friendly towards the media.

A source told the publication: 'Adele has barely left the house in recent months, so she could keep this to herself for as long as possible.

'She stopped exercising a few months ago, and since then it’s been all about the baby.'

Adele announced her pregnancy on her website and said: 'I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together.

'I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon. Yours always, Adele.'

A spokesman for the star said he had 'no more information' on Adele's pregnancy.

The couple started dating last summer and moved in together earlier this year.

Konecki also has a five-year-old daughter with his ex-wife Clary Fisher.
