Hi, everyone! There has been some slight confusion lately about a few rules we have here, so I thought I'd take a moment to clarify.

LISTS. List posts are fun, but please limit how many items you submit from the source. It was always hard to put a specific number on how many items should be posted, considering lists can be so different and range from "Top 5" to "Top 100." To make it simple for everyone to understand, we're limiting lists to 5 items only.This does not mean post the rest of the list without pictures or text or teh rest of the list in the comments. Please leave the rest of the lists for the sources that create them, as we like to drive traffic to other sites for their work.
LJ-CUTS. We've been pretty relaxed about this, but please remember to use LJ cuts on posts. A good rule of thumb has always been one image/video and one paragraph of intro text. Everything else should be under an LJ-cut. If you need help using lj-cuts, check out the FAQ here. Also, any post with really large photos (bigger than ~600px by 600px) outside of a cut are not allowed and will be rejected.
MEMBERSHIP. As many of you picked up, we opened the floodgates to let in some fresh meat. Some bots made it in, as well, and we're doing our best to get rid of them. Membership has been closed again as of a few weeks ago.
BEHAVE. Remember, personal attacks are not allowed. Talking shit about celebrities or public figures is why we exist. People are allowed to have a different opinion than the ONTD hive mind and should not be attacked for voicing it. People with different opinions are not immediately banned, unless they break the rules. Flippantly telling someone to kill themselves or to go fuck themselves over an ONTD comment is unacceptable.
SOURCES. Tracked Tumblr tags are not a valid source. Please make sure to use direct source links and dig deep to find original sources.
CONTROVERSIAL POSTS. There have been a lot of political posts lately because there have been some hot topics. We have no issues with these sorts of posts, considering people want to talk about them, but we still request that there's a 'celebrity' angle. A good example is how![]()
