Tom Cruise - Emily Blunt’s “All You Need Is Kill,” a sci-fi action project directed by Doug Liman and adapted from a Japanese novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka is going to this year’s Comic-Con and has been retitled “Edge of Tomorrow.”
According to Warner Bros. Pictures, footage from the film will be revealed at Comic-Con panel this coming Saturday, and by doing so they released the Comic-Con poster, which you can see above.
The story unfolds in a near future in which a hive-like alien race, called Mimics, have hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, shredding great cities to rubble and leaving millions of human casualties in their wake. No army in the world can match the speed, brutality or seeming prescience of the weaponized Mimic fighters or their telepathic Alpha commanders. But now the world’s armies have joined forces for a last stand offensive against the alien horde, with no second chances.
“Edge of Tomorrow” also co-stars Bill Paxton, Kick Gurry, Dragomir Mrsic, Charlotte Riley, Jonas Armstrong, and Franz Drameh.
