Cody Critcheloe, aka SSION - pronounced "SHUN" - is a New York City-based songwriter, musician, visual artist and director of such music videos as Kylie Minogue's "Sexercize" and Perfume Genius'"Queen"
Earlier this year, SSION released "At Least the Sky Is Blue," a collaboration with lo-fi icon Ariel Pink and the first single from his upcoming album 'O,' which saw him impersonating Liza Minelli in the self-directed accompanying video
'O,' due out May 11, has now been revealed to feature even more exciting collaborations: in addition to Pink, artists appearing on the record will include Sky Ferreira, Hole's Patty Schemel, Róisín Murphy, Devendra Banhart and MNDR
Ferreira, whose sophomore album 'Masochism' (announced in 2015) has picked up the gauntlet of longest-anticipated pop girl release from Tinashe's DOA 'Joyride,' will appear with Schemel on the track "1980-99"
