Prince William with the Birdsong heart-throb and fellow Eton prefects... and some VERY wacky waistcoats

11. Eddie Redmayne Studied History of Art at Trinity College, Cambridge, and made his professional stage debut two years after the photograph was taken. Nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star award for his role in My Week with Marilyn. The star of Birdsong is currently the face of Burberry and is due to give his final performance in Richard II at the Donmar Warehouse tonight. His next film role will be in the musical Les Miserables.
(full list of the wealthy, probably pompous mofos on Daily Fail - if you're into that)

One of them has just started a gruelling deployment to the Falklands and another is the heart-throb star of Birdsong and My Week With Marilyn.

But 12 years ago, Prince William and Eddie Redmayne were more interested in sixth form antics at Eton College.

The pair, seen here posing with their fellow prefects, were members of the elite group known as the Eton Society, founded in 1811 as a debating group. Like most prefects, the boys would have helped out at parents’ evenings and been responsible for looking after younger pupils.

The group was also keen to uphold another tradition – wearing a waistcoat designed to their own individual tastes.
(oh you fancy huh...)

Rumor: Did Vogue Play Matchmacker for Karlie Kloss and Eddie Redmayne?

Source #2

Remember that gorgeous editorial in Vogue’s December issue featuring Karlie Kloss and Eddie Redmayne as “a couple of sinners on Ibiza—she, wearing printed resortwear generating plenty of heat; he, trying hard to keep his cool.(lol this sentence) The spread, titled “Temptation Island” and lensed by Mario Testino, seems to have spawned a real life romance. We hear, from a well-placed source, that Kloss and Redmayne are currently dating. We haven’t seen them together outside of the pages of Vogue yet, but they make one extremely good looking couple.

BBC receives complaints about sex scenes in Birdsong adaptation

Birdsong, which stars Eddie Redmayne - a contemporary of Prince William at Eton - and Harry Potter star Clemence Poesy (boring as fuck lbr) as star-crossed lovers, made a highly-anticipated leap from the page to the small screen with a BBC adaptation penned by The Iron Lady writer Abi Morgan.

And while the TV version of the 1993 novel proved to be a relative hit in the ratings, drawing in over 6m viewers for the BBC, the broadcaster has been forced to admit that it has received complaints about the programme's content.

The first episode of the two-part production angered some viewers when it showed a topless Poesy, who later performed a sex act on Redmayne's character. (Eddie going down on her was sf hot, putting those poon-sucking lips to good use)

A spokesman for the BBC confirmed that 15 complaints had been made, but declined to comment further on Birdsong, which aired between 9pm and 10.25pm on Sunday.
