- Shawn Levy, an EP on the show, also commented on the verbal abuse allegations, although it's worth noting that he did so on the red carpet and not during the PaleyFest panel (i.e., not in front of the cast). This was his response:
"We were genuinely upset. And we were surprised to hear that anyone felt uncomfortable on set. I want to be really clear that nobody has been targeted in any way on the basis of race or gender. We all cherish the family that we've created onscreen and cherished equally the family that we created on set and we're going to remain committed to the well-being of that."
- Like the second season, season 3 will take place roughly one year after the events of the finale, during the summer of 1985.
- Eleven/Mike and Max/Lucas will each still be together at the beginning of the season.
- There will be more Dad Steve, so here's hoping that they don't beat that into the ground. Although, considering the fans already did that, maybe it'll just come full circle.
- Back to the Future will be a key reference this season.
