Take My Wife, the comedy series following real-life married lady comedians Rhea Butcher and Cameron Esposito, has finally released its second season. It was filmed and ready for release last year, but its fate was thrown into limbo when the NBC-owned streaming platform SeeSo closed up shop in August. Both seasons of the show are now available to buy on iTunes. Series co-creator and star Cameron Esposito tweeted these facts about it last year when it was looking for a home:
Wanted to tell u what having a show on Seeso allowed us to do. I am so proud of #TakeMyWife. pic.twitter.com/UatqOyrPY7

Help us get #TakeMyWife to #1 on @iTunes!! We don’t make $$ off ur purchase; we just want queer folks to get to make more teevee ✌️ https://t.co/XxJN8zfTyd

Cameron notes that they don't make money from people purchasing the show via iTunes, but that those purchases demonstrate a desire for content from queer creators, allowing for more shows like theirs to be made in the future.
Hey y'all! @cameronesposito and @RheaButcher have a terrific show called #TakeMyWife. The first two seasons of it are available now on iTunes. Also, check it out on Starz streaming starting 5/1. Do it... DOOOOOO IT!!!!

If you don't want to make the commitment to purchasing the show and you have Starz, Take My Wife will be streaming there starting May 1st.
I never watched the show, but I like Cam and Rhea, and I am very happy it has found a home! Now, if only someone would #BuyBajillion...
