Beyoncé Knowles and her husband Jay-Z grabbed dinner together in NYC last night. The couple stepped out for an alfresco meal at Gigino Trattoria in the Battery Park neighborhood of Manhattan. They've also logged plenty of time lately over in Brooklyn, where Jay-Z helped open the brand-new Barclays Center with an eight-night string of concerts. For the last show two weeks ago, Beyoncé even joined Jay on stage for a few songs. Now she's looking forward to a solo project — Beyoncé's performing at the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 3.
Another important date for Beyoncé and Jay-Z is Nov. 6, Election Day. Both Jay and Beyoncé have been staunch supporters of President Obama's reelection campaign. In a recent interview, President Obama reflected on his friendship with Beyoncé and Jay-Z. The President said he offered Jay advice after the birth of Blue Carter in January. He said, "I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyoncé out [with the baby]. And not leaving it all with mom and the mother-in-law."
