Filming of Thor 2 has started today on set in Bourne Wood, Farnham, Surrey, England.
In regards to the action, the sequence that's being filmed involves a battle between Asgardian warriors and an army race known as Marauders. And although scheduled to be filmed on at later date, Thor himself is expected to make a grand entrance into the battle. Reportedly featuring almost 300 extras, the shoot will last 10 days.
Jaimie Alexander also tweeted today: "4:15am. Off to Asgard! :)"
I am so excited guys. Not sure what the Marauders are after all and how this is supposed to be related to the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim.
