So I made a comment in the last Backstreet Boys post about all the celebs I've run into the past two weeks in NYC, and I was told to make a post about it! So hereeee we go!
I work in the hub of NYC and saw on Twitter 2 weeks ago that Donnie Wahlberg was filming Access Hollywood in Rockefeller Center so I mosied on over there. I got his attention by wishing him a happy belated birthday and he then came over after filming to take pics with all the fans :D (Bridget Moynahan from Blue Bloods and Missy Franklin from US Swim Team was also there, but they didn't come over).

Then on this past Wednesday, just as I left work and walked through my building doors, there was a black SUV parked right in front and coming out of it to go into my building was Aviva Drescher from RHONY. I was like, is this even real life?! What are the chances?? So I stopped her for a picture and she was awfully nice and pretty in person (and tall, she looks like a giant next to me!) I told her she was a great addition to the show and she put up her hands as I was leaving and went "AHHH, Monday nights are CRAZY!"

Last Tuesday, I went out for lunch with a coworker to a cafe on the same street as where the trailers for Wolf of Wall Street were stationed, and I caught Matthew McConaughey coming out of his trailer after hair and makeup. His assistant then opened up an umbrella that Matthew could hide under, and they walked away.

Last Monday, I walked through Rockefeller Center to get to work and 30 Rock was rehearsing. I waited for a bit and caught Tina Fey.

Last Tuesday night, I went to see Aaron Carter perform in The Fantasticks off-Broadway. Not only did he follow me on twitter during the show, but he DM'ed me saying "hope you enjoy it babe". Haha, I was like, dude is backstage during the play checking twitter?? Anyway, I met him afterwards and got a picture. Before I even said anything to him, he goes to me "I tweeted you right?" haha.

NOW ON TO THE GOOD STUFF
I was at work on Wednesday checking twitter when the Backstreet Boys posted a picture of them at a Rolling Stone/US Weekly luncheon and I DIED IN MY CHAIR. WHY, you ask? Because the Rolling Stone/US Weekly offices are IN MY BUILDING. Like, what do I do???? I'm in love with the Backstreet Boys and they're the only celebs that I will go batshit for, and they're in my fcking building! So my crazy ass goes downstairs and asks my floor's security guy if he knows what's going on, and he confirmed that BSB entered the building 30 minutes ago. I just about died right there and then, and he swiped me into the Rolling Stone elevator bank so I could wait for them.
So I waited, and finally, like the gates of heaven, the elevator doors opened and out came AJ, Brian, Howie, and their crew. I didn't manage to get AJ and Howie's attention, though I'm pretty sure AJ made eye contact with me. I managed to call over Brian and I asked if he thought I could get a group picture and he said probably not since the other guys were already ahead and they were headed back to the hotel, but he was like "But let's us get a picture!" and I was like OKAY cuz Brian's always been my favorite anyway. And I rambled to him about how I just about died when I saw on Twitter they were in my building and how I'm a huge fan and that I'd be seeing them on Frid at Good Morning America.

My dumbass then left and went back to my floor before I realized that I never saw Nick and Kevin, which means they probably waited for the next elevator. So I missed them =( BUT NO HOPE IS LOST!
So on Thursday, I decided to take a walk during lunch since it was a gorgeous day and I ended up walking past the BSB hotel (like, 2 streets from where I work) and as I'm walking past, FCKING NICK CARTER GETS OUT OF A CAR AND I'M DYING AND I RUN OVER THERE SHAKING LIKE HOLY SHIT CAN I GET A PICTURE. I didn't get to talk to him since he was on the phone, but he nodded when I asked for a picture, and once I got my camera ready he said "Hold on a sec" to whoever he was on the phone with, smiled for my picture, then got back on the phone and left. My rude ass interrupted his phone call and accosted him on the street, but he still took a picture with me and looks LIKE PERFECTION, BEAUTY, GORGEOUS, A GOD. I wobbled away with my legs shaking and about to give out, you have no idea.

Ok, so I got my picture with Nick, and I'm walking back to work, and crossing the fcking street that I'm about to cross is HOWIE D!!!!!! All I could think was IS THIS REAL LIFE!?!? He was walking with one of their crew guys, so I was like HOWIE, omg, can I get a picture? And he said sure. The crew guy said Yeah let's make it quick though we need to get back, so he took the picture. And I told Howie I'll be going to see them on Frid at GMA and I congratulated him on the new baby (his wife is preggers!) and he said Thanks and left and I was like what is my life idek.

So then on Friday, I woke up at 3:30am to get ready to drive into NYC with my friend for the Good Morning America concert. I had won VIP passes (thank you to all on ONTD/Reezy posts that voted for me!!!!!) The VIP line was huge and I was near the back of it but I was still closer to the stage than general admission. The show was UNBELIEVABLE! (I'll link to my youtube videos down below. I took video of every second they were on stage lol). Kevin thanked the fans after IWITW and got choked up because the crowd was going INSANE for him. Also, their voices on the TV when I watched it back sounded like crap, but in person they were AMAZING AS IS EXPECTED. My friend that came with me is an NSYNC fan but even she was rocking out to the songs lol.
Anyway, so after GMA, my friend and I hit up the upper east side for brunch, while my other friend is texting me "where is your mind?" since I didn't go straight to the hotel. Anyway, like three hours later, I got back to midtown and made my friend come to the hotel with me where there was already 40-50 fans waiting. I waited not 5 mins when security came and put up barricades. 5 mins later their bodyguard Q came out. 5 mins after that, the boys came out to get into their van. It looked like most of them went straight into the van, but I'm not sure because Kevin came over by our side and took pics. I think the other guys did take some pics but not as much. So I got my picture and hug with Kevin Richardson. I told him we're so excited to have him back and he was great today and he said thanks, and my new camera takes video while you take pictures, but my friend didn't realize it was recording and put my camera down, so I can hear myself asking him for a hug but you can't see it. =(
