EW has confirmed that Jean Dujardin will star in the upcoming spy thriller Möbius. Dujardin has received universal plaudits for his turn in the French silent film The Artist, a presumed Best Picture front-runner at this year’s Oscar. For Möbius, Dujardin will hang up his tap shoes to play an experienced intelligence officer, filming in Monte Carlo and Hungary. Dujardin, who won the Best Actor award at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival for The Artist, is currently nominated for Golden Globe, SAG, and Spirit awards and is widely expected to snag an Oscar nod when the nominations are announced Jan. 24.
If it can't be Fassbender, I desperately want him to snatch Clooney and Pitt's wigs. Also, looking forward to his charmingly accented Globe speech on Sunday.
