But Beyoncé went the extra mile, by putting a portrait of Jay-Z on her fingernail beside a snapshot of herself. The singer posted the funny and utterly adorable photograph of her creative nail art on her Tumblr page.
But before her critics raise their eyes to the heavens, accusing her of having too much time on her hands - literally, the songbird gave a little something back yesterday.
It was announced that the former Destiny's Child beauty, together with songwriter Diane Warren will be donating album track "I Was Here" to World Humanitarian Day. Beyoncé will film a video for the track at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York in front of a live audience on August 19.
Speaking of the campaign, she said: 'We all see the headlines and think what can I do to help? World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference. This is our time to leave our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care.'
