Blake Lively is the face of Gucci's new perfume, Premiere, and the Nicolas
Winding Refn-directed commercial spot for the scent is just stunning.
The Drive director brings out the best in Lively by framing her inside the
Sheats Goldstein Residence, a sprawling locale in Beverly Hills which overlooks
most of Los Angeles.
There, she imagines herself doing a photo shoot in a desert, before flashing
back to the interior, where she spritzes herself with a few drops of the
perfume, and heads toward an elevator.
It's a tad abstract but we think it ultimately gets the point across. Which is,
Premiere is a classy and elegant perfume. As the voiceover says— "the new
essence for women."
