CBS has announced its keys premier dates for the upcoming fall TV season. A few highlights are listed below.
On Wednesday September 26th, Criminal Minds' fans will find out how Paget Brewster has been written out of the series.
On Wednesday September 26th, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation begins its 13th season with an episode called "Karma to Burn."
The season kicks off with Survivor: Philippines on September 19. This 25th go around for the reality competition series will feature three tribes, each of which will include a previous player who was evacuated from the game due to injury. Rumors abound as to who the three will be. Contenders include Michael Skupin, a burning victim from the Australian Outback versionm and Kourtney Moon, injured on the last go around called Survivor: One World.
The regular fall debuts begin on September 24. The Monday night returnees include Hawaii Five-O that will feature Christine Lahti as Steve McGarrett's long-thought-dead mom, Doris. This tosses a huge wrench into everything that has previously been thought to be true in the show's plot.
The new series, Elementary, debuts the next night at 10 p.m. The drama takes Sherlock Holmes into the modern era and with a few twists. For example, the famous detective resides in New York, not London, and Doctor Watson is a woman, not a man. Jonny Lee Miller plays Holmes with Lucy Liu as Watson. Aidan Quinn also appears as a New York City police captain.
