As the "Vampire Diaries" gets closer to their season four premiere date, we're getting more scoop on what's to come for the Mystic Falls gang! We previously reported that three new characters will be making their way into town, and now we can officially say that one of them has been cast!
Making his way into Mystic Falls come October will be Connor, a "highly trained killing machine." According to Entertainment Weekly, the new trouble maker in town will be played by "Chicago Code" and "In Plain Sight" actor Todd Williams.
Williams character will have a recurring role in the fourth season, and "Vampire Diaries" fans will get their first glimpse of him in the second episode.
Connor will be replacing Alaric, our favorite sometimes history teacher/ vampire hunter turned vampire turned fully dead. While Alaric was generally a good guy before becoming an evil vampire out to destroy all vampires, make no mistake about Connor - he is a serious, intimidating and powerful new player in Mystic Falls.
While it's easy to assume that Connor will be going after our favorite vampires in town (Damon, Stefan, Caroline, Tyler and now Elena), it's possible that he might have a change of heart after meeting the young undead crew. If Connor is as serious about vampire hunting as his character description seems, this could definitely pose a threat for the whole vampire race. We have a feeling that Klaus, Elijah and Damon won't let one little vampire hunter get in the way of their eternal lifestyle.
ZOMG I need some news from the Community panel. Will keep you posted.
