The 2009 X Factor runner-up, 27, enjoyed acclaim alongside Caroline Flack on the ITV2 show, but when asked about next year said: “We’ll see what happens.
“Presenting is a tricky one. The more you do it, the more you get typecast as a presenter and I’m not a TV presenter, you know? I want to continue my singing.”
Olly confessed that there was similar uncertainty about whether judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Kelly Rowland would return too.
Next year’s X Factor is likely to be revamped after it suffered a ratings slump. A show source said: “Olly is uncertain about his future and he’s not the only one. Big changes are afoot.”
