The MMO (Massively multiplayer online game) was originally named Marvel Universe online. It is developed by Gazillion Entertainment.

You can play mutliple characters from the Marvel Universe including a lot of members of the Avengers. The villian will be Doctor Doom who possesses the Cosmic Cube which holds a lot of Power. You as one of the heroes need to stop him before it's too late.
The game is similar to Marvel Super Hero Squad Online. The graphic seems to be a lot better.
Technology:
Gazillion Entertainment has chosen to use Epic Games's Unreal Engine 3, instead of the Unity 3D engine used for Marvel Super Hero Squad Online.
