Funnyman Jason Segel has remained tight-lipped about his relationship with the My Week With Marilyn star, but he clearly declared his affection for her recently by taping her photo to his iPhone. (How charmingly analog!)
Now, he's got the words to back that up!
That's right, Segel is finally opening up about Williams, and the normally chatty actor decided to keep it sweet and simple...
"I think I would just very much like to be happy," he told Extra when asked about Williams while promoting his new flick, The Five-Year Engagement. "That's all I'm going to say about it."
Costar Emily Blunt happened to be sitting next to him, and apparently she had something more to say about it!
"He's a man-boy!" she teased. "He was a boy-boy and now he's a man-boy."
Of course, the witty comedian wouldn't let a quip like that go scot-free, and he had a punchline ready.
"I might even be becoming a man-man... potentially!"
Last month, Segel and Williams were snapped holding hands as they strolled around New York City, and the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star has even hung out with Williams and Heath Ledger's 6-year-old daughter, Matilda.
We can't think of a more adorable couple we're pulling for!
Jason Segel and Michelle Williams Take Romance Public at the Five- Year Engagement Premier
Hollywood's newest couple just had a very public coming out party in the Big Apple.
Jason SegelandMichelle Williamsmade the scene at last night's New York City premiere of his new romantic comedy,The Five-Year Engagement, which officially kicked off the Tribeca Film Festival.
And the lovebirds turned up the heat with even more PDA at a post-screening bash.
While Williams was MIA on the red carpet, she snuck into the Ziegfeld Theater to join her beau for the screening. According toPeople, Segel gave her a little kiss on the cheek as she left while he remained inside chatting with friends and well-wishers.
The twosome later met up at the after-party at the Museum of Modern Art where they looked happy as clams while mingling with the film's costars, includingEmily BluntandKevin Hart.
The 32-year-oldMuppetman was spotted holding the 31-year-old Oscar-nominated actress's hand for most of the evening, whispering in her ear, and escorting her around the tables, while Williams giddily returned the affection, pecking him on the cheek and rubbing his back, before being the first to depart the shindig.
But there's no doubt the smiles from the good friends turned paramours indicate this courtship could be going into overdrive—something Segel himself jokingly hinted at.
"My plan is to get her to marry me as quickly as possible before she finds out who I really am," the big guy told the magazine with a laugh, though he was speaking generally about his own vision of getting engaged, not specifically about his relationship with Michelle. "I'll do it romantic, but I'll do it like over a three-day weekend. We'll meet on Friday, have our first date on Saturday, engaged on Sunday and married on Monday."
Now that he's older, Segel said making that next big leap into marriage seems like a natural step.
"I hit my thirties and enough became enough," he added. "I'm ready to enter phase three. I put the puppets into a closet. I'm getting nice furniture."
Just don't ask him to take off his pants again, a subject he, Blunt and producerJudd Apatowdiscussed at length on the red carpet last night with E! News'Alicia Quarles.
