Making a Stateside splash! The Wanted get a soaking on a prehistoric water ride as they enjoy a day out at Universal Studios


It's been a crazy couple of months for The Wanted as they jetted to the United States and won the hearts of thousands of teenager girls.
But after endless personal appearances, gigs and signings, it was time for the boy band to have some well-earned time off.
So they took themselves to a theme park in Los Angeles to have a go on some rides and let off some steam in the sunshine. what sunshine? it's been mucky and cold and raining





By the looks of it Queen Nareesha was too good for the cheapass Jurassic Park ride. I don't blame her

And they managed to cool off quite quickly as hit the Jurassic Park ride first and got a thorough soaking as their boat hit the water.



Members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuinness and Tom Parker were snapped at the theme park in Hollywood making the most of their coveted time off.

And they were snapped at the end of the ride as their boat hurled down a slide and into a river, soaking them from head to toe.



Not that they seemed too bothered as they laughed out loud and threw their hands in the air as the ride came rushing down and looked as though they were having a whale of a time.

But one member unfortunately had to miss out on the fun - poor Nathan Sykes was holed up in a recording studio.

The other four members were joined by Silva's girlfriend Nareesha McCaffrey, Tom's girlfriend Kelsey Hardwick and Max's mother as well as their bodyguard Kev and their tour manager.

Max looked like he was really enjoying himself and seemed to put the events of the last couple of days behind him as he relaxed with his friends.

He has kept a low profile since since the group went on a few days break following the announcement earlier this week he is no longer engaged to Michelle Keegan.


But he looked back on form today as he strolled around the theme park in grey tracksuit bottoms and a green T-shirt, the sleeves of which he kept rolling up his shoulders.

And he was so happy to see his mother, who arrived the day before, and took to his Twitter page to write: 'Mother George has arrived!!!!! Sooooo good to see her, she's the best.'
