Montana might not have Ramona Pinot Grigio, but there's one thing it's full of, thanks to The Real Housewives of New York City: drama. The ladies' Montana getaway continues and sparks fly between friends Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman.
Last week, Kristen was not pleased with Heather after the ladies, including a drunk Heather, didn't give geocaching the old college try. Kristen thinks Heather is bossy, and tells her so. This drama spills over to the Tuesday, July 1, episode where Heather and Kristen have some words, again.
"You're mad at me because I called you bossy and you can't own up to it. Why can't you just own up to the fact that you're bossy? You're bossy at work, you're the boss at home," Kristen says. And that's where she crosses a line with Heather.
"Kristen's hurtful, and when you hurt somebody, that's when the mama bear instinct comes out," Heather says in a confessional interview. "You don't fuck with my family, don't fucking play that card, bitch, 'cause it's not going to be pretty."
Heather and Kristen go way back, so this bossy hiccup seems to just be that, a hiccup. But as it tends to happen with Real Housewives fights, something tells us we haven't heard the last fight.
Get the pinot ready and head for the hills, because it’s turtle time. It’s turtle time everywhere Ramona goes, by golly! According to Page Six, Ramona attended a party in Bridgehampton on Saturday, got a bit too turnt up, and misplaced her phone.
The American Heart Association hosted their 18th Heart Ball, to which Singer showed up with her formerly estranged husband Mario Singer. Witnesses say that Ramona was “dancing provocatively all over her husband” in a full-length gold gown. I can’t say that I’m not impressed, because if prom teaches you anything, it’s that it is a feat to grind in evening wear.
After some time, Singer noticed that her phone had been jacked from her purse which was sitting on a nearby table. She became hysterical, shrieking at the event staff that her phone was lost.
As of Monday, there was still no word on the whereabouts of Ra-phone-a. While the housewife emeritus really has a knack for turning even the classiest bash into a frat party — SO MANY RUINED FASHION SHOWS! — we know how violating it feels to have your cell phone stolen.
Fans of LuAnn de Lesseps have reason to celebrate. They'll be seeing her on the eason six reunion show. On Sunday, June 29, one of the show's starring housewives, Carole Radziwill, confirmed that LuAnn was at the reunion filming along with the other housewives.
A fan tweeted Carole asking her who she sat next to at the reunion, which filmed on Friday, June 13. Carole responded that she sat next to Heather Thomson on one side and LuAnn on the other. Carole also made sure to let everyone know that it was she and the other women sitting on her couch that had it together at the reunion by including the hashtag "#sanecouch" in her response.
So who sat on the other couch on the other side of host Andy Cohen? It was likely Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and Aviva Drescher, since they have supported each other the most over the past season. Aviva definitely wouldn't have sat on the same couch as Carole and Heather since she feuded with both of them after claiming that Carole used a ghostwriter for both of her books.
Being a couch potato can be a social recreation. Don’t believe us?
Case in point is The People’s Couch, a simple show where viewers watch people watching television — and it’s a hit. The U.S. version — it’s based on the British hit “Gogglebox” — debuted last October and the network decided to bring it back for another run, which has now been extended into July with full-hour episodes.
The show is filmed throughout Los Angeles County, from Long Beach to Burbank, and features eight very diverse groups of watchers.
One of those families is the Resnick clan from Long Beach — dad Joseph and sisters Rachel, Nicole and Sarah.
“We tend to always sit in the same positions or spots when we watch television together,” said Rachel. “Doesn’t everyone do that?”
The Resnicks were already close but their three-night-a-week viewings and being on the show has brought them even closer. “At the start of all this, it seemed like a strange concept, but I get it now. We even love watching the others on the show,” she said.
