Big Apple Bore! RHONY Reunion Was A Drama-Free Snoozefest, Now Bravo May Axe The Franchise!

Not every Housewives franchise can be as exciting as the ladies in Atlanta, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the reunion taping of The Real Housewives of New York City was drama free and Bravo execs are considering getting rid it to make room for new shows worth watching.

“The taping was beyond boring,” a source close to the show told Radar about the June 13 event. “Yes, everyone showed up and there were tears and fights, but not about anything that mattered at all. There just wasn't enough going on in the season to make anything special.”

Low ratings plagued this sleepy season, and the source told Radar that the reunion isn't going to offer any fireworks either, with the cast members Ramona, Aviva, Carole, Kristen, Sonja, LuAnn and Heather unable to drum up the drama.

“The show was ridiculous. Andy [Cohen] tried everything he could to get the ladies to be interesting, but they've run out of story lines. It was completely drama free.”

The source said the network is considering canceling the show.

“The Real Housewives of New York City is just a failing franchise now,” the source said. “The ratings are a bust and the women aren’t doing anything to help the show. Ramona had a lot of interesting things happening in her personal life but she made sure it didn’t make the show. Carole and Aviva tried to have a storyline, but even Aviva’s show absences didn’t help the ratings. There isn’t anything compelling with these women now.”

Miss USA long denied she had threesome with Aviva's dad!

Not everyone is buying that Aviva Drescher's dad, George Teichner, has the magic touch with women. Aviva's co-star Heather Thomson live-tweeted her thoughts on the episode. She made clear that she does not believe at all that George had a threesome with former Miss USA Nana Meriwether.

In the episode, Aviva loudly told everyone at an event hosted by LuAnn de Lesseps that Nana may have had a threesome with her dad and his fiance, Dana Lavette Cody, not too long ago. Heather isn't buying it. She retweeted a fan's tweet that if Miss USA had a threesome with George, then she was born on Mars, and that the claim was "such total BS."

Miss USA Nana Meriwether long ago denied that she had any physical contact with George, much less a threesome with him and Cody. Two weeks after the scene was filmed, she told the NY Daily News that she actually met George at former housewife Jill Zarin's house but that nothing happened between them. She said that Bravo was simply “fishing for story lines.”

The NY Daily News article also reported that it was producers who arranged for Nana to come to LuAnn's luncheon.

Carole Dismisses Rumors That Sonja Slept With Her Ex!

Sonja Morgan encouraged rumors that she indeed slept with Carole Radziwill's ex-boyfriend, Russ Irwin of Aerosmith, while they were still together. Carole took to her blog to clarify a few things.

"The thing about rumors is that everyone believes something about them, even if they are completely unfounded," she wrote on her Bravo blog. "Did I believe Sonja was drunk in a bar one night in Los Angeles? Absolutely. Did I believe she and Russ, my ex-boyfriend, hooked up? Either while we were together or after? Nope. But Sonja sat in her hangover robe on that rooftop with her trademark 'dingbat' look and proclaimed that Russ did 'flirt with her' in St. Barth's. And that's all it takes to fuel a rumor."

After Kristen Taekman told her about what Sonja had said, Carole decided to confront Sonja.

"I asked her what any normal girl would ask, what the fuck?" she wrote. "Because where I'm from, women have each other's backs. They don't perpetuate gossip about their friends. Sonja denied that it happened but didn't apologize for letting Satako [the facialist] repeat it while she giggled."

But just to be sure, Carole wanted to talk to her ex. He too confirmed her suspicions that all of it was made up.

"Russ says he never banged Sonja and I believe him but hey, things happen. If that rumor is even partly true it says nothing about me and everything about Sonja. None of it good."

Scott Nevins Of The People's Couch Is More Than A Pretty Face!

Scott Nevins may not be a household name yet, but he’s getting there. Best known for his work as a stand-up comedian and host to numerous events, benefits and television shows, Nevin’s brand of humor seems to be catching on.

Nevins can now be seen on The People’s Couch, which is based on a UK show called Googlebox.

“I received a call from someone in production [at Bravo TV] who asked if I had any groups of people that I watch TV with,” Nevins said. “I said I did and they were on their way over to watch The Real Housewives with me. After many Skype meetings, visits and interviews they asked us if we would like to take part in this experimental show. I was worried that we'd be super self-conscious and aware of the cameras, but Blake [McIver], Emerson [Collins] and I are close friends and well … we're not shy about our opinions. So when we did sit down to watch TV, we forgot that the cameras were there within two minutes.”

The three have been friends for years and frequently get into heated, yet contained, debates.

Nevins takes pride in surrounding himself with people and friends who nourish him as a person and performer and feels really lucky to get to work with two people he is so close to.

“I love those two so much,” Nevins said. “[I] can't believe that we get to share this experience with millions of people who tune in. I think people respond to our group because everyone has those one or two friends who they can let lose and be real with, the way we always are with one another. People see a bit of themselves in one or all of the different groups we have on the show. I'm fiercely proud to be a part of a TV program that features and celebrates such diversity.”

He’s also candid about what responsibilities the gay community has with bullying within their own community.

“I think you are going to find issues within any community - minority or otherwise,” Nevin’s said. “It’s the same as any social situation where people put up walls or act out because of insecurity. LGBTQ men and women spend most of their early lives being outcasts. Sometimes it can feel like high school with cliques, but again, only if you buy into it. Live your life the way you want and who cares about anyone else? My 86-year-old Aunt Grace (my best friend) always says, 'Why worry what other people think? Do they pay your rent?'"
