Justin Bieber is so confident in his Beliebers, he doesn’t think even the ‘British Invasion’ (One Direction) will sway them away from him and his new record!
There’s new competition in town, but Justin Bieber isn’t worried! The 18-year-old pop star responded to a question about the new boy band craze (specifically One Direction) with class, saying he’s confident he’ll hold his own, despite new groups coming into the music world.
“I don’t think anyone is taking my fans,” Justin told Kidd Kradick on his radio show March 28. “I’m all for sharing. I think music is a great thing and a universal language.”
He added, “I have the greatest fans in the world. They are never going to betray me. They can like whoever they want.”
Even though One Direction has been blowing up the charts, we have a feeling Justin will do the same when his new album, Believe, drops later this year. We think he’s right — there’s definitely more than enough room for more than one talented music act in the pop world.
