Nepotism in Bollywood is getting major scrutiny after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, an "outsider" because he didn't have any major family connections in the industry. It's notoriously difficult to get film opportunities and become successful in Bollywood as an "outsider." Sonam Kapoor acknowledged that she's in the industry because of her father, Anil Kapoor, but added the caveat that it's good karma from her past life to be born into a rich family. Social media was not pleased.
Sorry but also isnt all birth entirely accidental ? Why shd privileges not earned on ones own account be worn like a badge. Karma is perhaps more the work we do not what our parents did ! Trust me throwing the privileged badge about is the last thing this country needs .
