Nicole Kidman's father has died after an accident in Singapore, according to reports.

It is believed Dr Antony Kidman reportedly died in a road side accident while visiting Antonia Kidman, Nicole's sister, in Singapore earlier today.

Dr Kidman was a clinical psychologist at Royal North Shore Hospital and a director of health psychology at the University of Technology Sydney.

The Royal North Shore Hospital was not immediately commenting on Dr Kidman's death.

Network Ten is reporting that Dr Kidman was visiting Nicole's younger sister Antonia who lives in Singapore with her husband Craig Marran and her six children.

As well as his work as a clinical psychologist, he has done research into the psycho-social impact of diseases, including breast cancer.

He was also ran community service seminars on aspects of mental health, was a regular speaker on radio and television and wrote for academic journals and the general public.

He was awarded an Order of Australia in 2005 for his contributions to clinical psychology.

The family was last seen together in Sydney back in January for Dr Kidman and his wife, Janelle's 50th wedding anniversary.

In June this year, a beaming Nicole Kidman, 46 walked the red carpet with her father and husband Keith Urban at the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball in Melbourne.

In one of his last public statements, Dr Kidman wrote of the pointless pursuit of happiness.

In the article titled 'Forget happiness, search for meaning', Dr Kidman wrote about the importance of striving for achievable goals in life, with a focus on being contented with what you have rather than on a life of material wealth.

Kirsten Dunst is comfortable with a few extra pounds.

The actress opens up to NET-A-PORTER magazine, where she reveals that's she's gained some weight since being in a relationship with boyfriend Garrett Hedlund.

"I’ve got a little bit more of a tummy now, so although I own about 20 pairs of jeans, I’ll wear the same three for a year because the rest are from when I was skinnier," tells the mag.

"I guess if I wasn’t comfortable and in a relationship I’d be thinner. When you’re with someone, you eat so much more and you chill out a bit – but I don’t criticize myself more than is healthy, because there’s such a lot of that, isn’t there? Whether it’s girls among themselves or gossip magazines, it’s all about women tearing apart other women. I don’t get why that’s so prevalent right now."

The 32-year-old also says that she's not a fan of plastic surgery, and that she believes getting Botox or fillers is worse for an actress' career than aging gracefully.

"If you’re going to be an actress who is lasting and still working when she’s older, you can’t have stuff done because you just look weird, and you certainly can’t be in period films. I’ve heard of men doing it too, and I get so distracted by it. I can’t even see their performance because I’m just thinking, ‘What did they do to their face?’ Filling is definitely the worst thing people do; it makes everyone look puffy," she explains.

"The prettiest women to me are the ones who have let themselves age. Kristin Scott Thomas in 'Nowhere Boy' looked absolutely gorgeous. So I feel like there is a way to age gracefully and maybe just do a peel now and again to maintain your looks but not change them," she adds.

You know the difference between a regular actor emailing a famous director to ask for a role in an upcoming movie and Mark Ruffalo emailing a famous director to ask for a role in an upcoming movie? Mark Ruffalo makes it look good. That and, you know, Mark Ruffalo being an Oscar nominated actor who was one of the stars of 2012’s biggest movie. But mostly it’s that he makes things look good.


Ruffalo admitted during an interview with Collider that he’d recently emailed his Brothers Bloom director Rian Johnson to blatantly beg for a role in Star Wars: Episode VIII

“Rian, congratulations on everything you’ve been doing. And by the way, if there’s a part in Star Wars, please, anything, please consider considering me to join you.”

WHY IS THAT SO ENDEARING? Mark, all is forgiven for Now You See Me. But you’re going to have to up your game if you want me to forget about Now You See Me 2.

As far as we know, the "Orange Is The New Black" Season 3 release date will not be until June 2015. With more than half a year before the show returns, details on the season ahead are scarce. So far, we have learned that Mary Steenburgen, Blair Brown, and Mike Birbiglia will join the show. Meanwhile, Larry actor Jason Biggs and George "Pornstache" Mendez actor Pablo Schrieber will not appear in Season 3. Now, an actress may leave "Orange Is The New Black" as well.

According to CW, a new TV series titled "Jane The Virgin" will begin Oct. 13. Actress Diane Guerrero, who plays Maritza in "Orange Is The New Black," has also accepted the role as the bestie of the protagonist in "Jane The Virgin." No doubt, it would be very difficult for Guerrero to take on two TV series at the same time.

Further proof that Diane Guerrero's duties at "Jane The Virgin" are pulling her from "Orange Is The New Black" is coming from Flaca actress, Jackie Cruz. In one of Cruz's latest Instagram posts, she wrote: "Miss my boo so much @dianeguerrero_ @oitnb #flaritza #moments #season3 #loveher #missher #cometome #michiquita #flaca #maritza."

If Jackie Cruz misses Diane Guerrero, it could only mean that Guerrero has been MIA for quite some time already. At this point, we have no idea how "Orange Is The New Black" Season 3 will progress.

However, we have heard that a Piper Chapman and Alex Vause sex scene will be in Season 3. Actress Taylor Schilling also hinted that there will be nude scenes in Season 3 as well.

I had to have a lot of discussions about every time I took my clothes off," Schilling told Hollywood Reporter, hinting that there is another nude scene in works for season 3.

Eccentric Hollywood actor Gary Busey has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother – beating runner-up Audley Harrison.

Last night, Geordie Shore star Ricci Guarnaccio and Lauren Goodger from The Only Way is Essex were voted off the show.

Left to fight it out in the final were Boxer Audley Harrison, Benefits Street star “White” Dee Kelly, former B*Witched singer Edele Lynch, Hollywood actor Gary Busey, Gogglebox star George Gilbey and Strictly Come Dancing's James Jordan.

But Busey was the bookies' favourite to win.

Busey, who is the first American to win the show, said the experience "revealed so much [about himself] that I thought I wasn't. I didn't think I was selfish. I didn't think I was lazy. I didn't think I was insecure. I didn't I had fear.

"This show showed me things about myself. Big Brother is perfection, and they gave me guidance. It was just beautiful."

The Lethal Weapon star and former Oscar nominee, who clashed with a number of his famous housemates, said he did not know what to expect from the show.

He said: "When you've been around the sun 70 times - that's how old I am - you've got a new knowledge of life and a new knowledge of humour, you learn to respect the youth."

He added: "When I got back home I'm a changed man."

In third place was the house villain, Jordan. "I don't particularly like the two people who are left," he told presenter Emma Willis of Harrison and Busey.

Speaking after leaving the house as runner up, Harrison told Willis: "James has a big personality, but I told him 'I'm not trying to compete with you'."

Over the course of the series, former Gladiator David McIntosh, US actor Leslie Jordan and reality television personality Angelique “Frenchy” Morgan were among the contestants to leave the Channel 5 show.

I don’t know if you’ve ever been dubbed a “global pop sensation” (I know I haven’t….yet), but the boys of One Direction sure have. And they’re bringing all that global pop sensation-ism with them to celebrate the release of their new album, Four, with a special performance right here on NBC’s TODAY at Universal Orlando Resort.

The best news? You can be there. Public viewing will be available throughout Universal CityWalk on November 17 and no admission is required.

If you have a day job, the odds are pretty good that you don’t watch Live with Kelly and Michael on ABC every morning at 9:00 a.m. Normally, that might be a good thing. On Wednesday morning, however, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan actually got pretty hilarious while discussing Apple’s new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

“How big are we talking? How big is big?” Kelly asked Michael as the two discussed the brand new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus that had been unveiled by Apple less than a day earlier. “Show me with your fingers,” she then told the show’s producer.

He begrudgingly tried.

But the producer’s attempt to illustrate exactly how large a 5.5-inch iPhone might be was apparently a bit… generous. “That doesn’t look like 5.5 inches,” Kelly astutely observed.

“Do you have anything on you that might indicate what 5.5 inches looks like,” Kelly continued.

You can imagine where things were from there.

The segment got even funnier when someone finally presented Kelly with a tape measure extended to 5.5 inches, but we won’t spoil the rest. The entire iPhone 6 segment from Tuesday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Michael is embedded below.

Beyonce Pregnancy? ‘Beyonce Announces She’s Pregnant, It’s Official’ Report Unconfirmed




New rumors have popped up about Beyonce being pregnant after several reports from gossip websites and tabloids.

Rumors about Beyonce being pregnant have spanned back for a while, even as far back as May 2013, but the new rash of rumors of late seem to trace back primarily to two sources.

One is a report from the tabloid OK Magazine, which says that another baby for Beyonce and Jay Z may be on the way.

A source allegedly told the magazine that the couple has reconciled after they nearly got divorced, and that they’re now hiding Beyonce’s pregnancy.

“For the last month, Jay has been fiercely protective of her, just like he was when she was expecting Blue Ivy,” the source said. “He’s been doing everything he can to ensure that Bey is in a stress-free bubble. He’s informed their entire entourage that they need to use relaxed voices, mellow lighting and listen to only soft music, and he’s said that all of the food Beyoncé eats should be organic. He’s really doing his best to make sure that she’s as comfortable and healthy as possible.”

In addition, the source said, it’s been at least that long since anyone has seen Beyoncé drinking booze. “At one point, she was ordered a glass of champagne backstage to celebrate the tour’s success, but she politely declined and even rubbed her belly, maybe unconsciously. She hasn’t had a sip of alcohol since.”

The other report came from unreliable gossip website Media TakeOut, which proclaimed: “It’s now official … Beyonce announces that she’s pregnant … in the most over the top way imaginable!!!”

“Beyonce was spotted CONSISTENTLY rubbing her belly – and she had a specially made dress – with the BELLY CUT OUT. And it that’s not enough – Bey had GOLD PAINT on her tummy, to make the announcement LOUD AND CLEAR!!!” it said.

Beyonce and Jay Z are known to be a private couple, and if a sibling for Blue Ivy really is on the way, then they’ll announce it in due time but not until they’re ready.

After months of teasing, Nicki Minaj finally announced the release date (November 24) for her long-awaited album, The Pink Print. But the firm date for her album only put into relief how little we know about the eagerly anticipated follow-ups from some of music’s other big stars—Rihanna, Adele, Frank Ocean, and Robyn, to name of few—all of whom are said to be working on big projects but have yet to announce details.

The question on a lot of people’s minds concerns the Beyoncé Effect: the wake left by her shock-tactic, industry-shifting “visual album,” which included videos for every song and was released as a massive package all at once and without warning, and went on to become the fastest-selling album in iTunes history. Are artists having to figure out ways to out-Beyoncé Beyoncé? Are facts hazy because pop’s finest are planning their own surprise albums to come? Here’s what we know about music’s most anticipated releases.

Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean preceded his 2012 album, Channel Orange, with a surprise Internet announcement of his own, posting a note on his Tumblr about falling in love with a man. (Maybe his frequent collaborator Beyoncé noted how well he took hold of his own narrative—Ocean had a cameo on Beyoncé.) The record was a star-making vehicle for Ocean, going gold and winning a Grammy, but the notoriously private star is mostly mum about a follow-up. In April, he once again took to his Tumblr to announce that the record was nearly done and would be coming out this summer, but now it’s fall and we haven’t heard a peep.



Rihanna

Rihanna released an album every November for four years (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012), so she threw everyone for a loop when she missed her 2013 deadline. Perhaps Mr. Knowles tipped her off to the coming of Beyoncé. As her manager, Jay Z has a vested interest in her album not being overshadowed; as her label’s head, which he became when Rihanna signed to Roc Nation this spring, his vested interest became even greater. Impossible to say, but Rihanna’s probably the one artist on this list with enough star power to pull off Bey-like shock and awe. Thankfully for her fans, at the very least, she’s been killing the style game.

Kanye West

Kanye’s Yeezus was the pre-Beyoncé, with a release campaign that probably influenced his friend Beyoncé: He made an ominous announcement on Twitter before it came out, worked on it until the very last minute, and did almost no promotion for the album—aside from creating a visually stunning video. “With this album, we ain’t drop no single to radio,” he told the Guardian. “We ain’t got no NBA campaign, nothing like that. Shit, we ain’t even got no cover. We just made some real music.” Ever excitable, he quickly announced a follow-up album to be released this summer. Though clips have been leaking out on Instagram and on the Kimye wedding episode of (watch above) Keeping Up With the Kardashians, there’s still no Yeezus II.

Adele

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost four years since Adele released 21, the record that won her six Grammys and made her powerful voice one of the most beloved on the planet. All we’ve heard from her since is the Skyfall theme song, for which she won an Oscar. To be fair, she’s been a little busy—after breaking up with the guy who inspired the heartbreak songs on 21, she’s had a son, Angelo, with her partner Simon Konecki. Industry insider Paul Moss tweeted that Adele’s album may come in late 2014 or early 2015 with a first single next month, but it’s anyone’s guess how she’ll follow up the blockbuster album of the last five years.

Robyn

The long wait following 2010’s Body Talk has only helped to create the insane cult that now exists around Robyn. Her live shows are now met with rapture. Though she put out a collaborative album with Röyksopp this year, and influenced a whole new crop of DIY pop stars, Robyn needs to give her fanatics new music of her own to dance to. As critic Lindsay Zoladz pointed out this summer, Robyn has confirmed an EP, but is so beloved, she might not even need to rush it: “Robyn takes her time. She seems to exist somewhere above the deadlines and expiration dates that too often govern the careers of other (especially female) pop stars.”

The 34-year-old actor plays a billionaire who wants to sell his book of criminal contacts and hires a driver (Patrick Wilson) to drive him around in a night that goes totally wrong.

The movie also stars Jessica Alba, Brooklyn Decker, and Ed Helms. It was directed by Joe Carnahan and will be released on Amazon and iTunes on October 7 and VOD on October 14.

Chris sports a long greying beard and even nipple piercings for his role as the eccentric billionaire.

According to TMZ, Stephanie Hayden sat down with Dr. Phil last week in Los Angeles, and sources who were there tell us Stephanie fell unconscious into her husband's arms as she walked away from the interview.

Someone called 911, but Stephanie had regained consciousness by the time EMTS arrived. She had mentioned being stressed about discussing Will Hayden's rape case.

She mentioned that her father once came into her bedroom, highly intoxicated, and forced her to take off her shirt. As soon as she did so, her own father started to touch her chest inappropriately.

She told Dr. Phil, "He continued to proceed to kiss on my chest. Once that happened, I jumped back and he just left and he never touched me again like that." She even added that, after that said incident, she started to feel quite depressed and had to avoid her father. She even carried knives with her wherever she went.

Stephanie added there was another family member that was abused by her father two times. A friend of hers also admitted to her that she was also abused by Hayden and was forced to kiss him repeatedly.

This week has been both wonderful and excruciating for fans eagerly awaiting the release of Star Wars: Episode VII. One of Daisy Ridley's costumes has been sketched out, we got an aerial look at the new X-Wings and the Millennium Falcon, and today, two new videos capturing filming in-progress have leaked, from the set at RAF Greenham Common, a former Royal Air Force station in Berkshire, England. Check them out:
While they're not especially telling, it's great to get a closer look at what may very well be a base for the new Galactic Republic, formed by the rebels under Leia's guidance.

The video also showed off some of the costuming we can expect for this scene, which look more closely fashioned to the original trilogy (which makes sense) and some of the actors are dressed in gear that slightly resembles the description of Daisy Ridley's character. It's not a huge surprise that she's allied with the Republic: after all, she's the only person on the current roster that is signed for all three movies, so it's easy to assume that she's one of our heroes. Ridley's also got a flight suit that's similar to Luke Skywalker's - so she's a pilot, and if these sketches are to be believed, also a Jedi. Or at least a padawan, hey.

Sir Mix-A-Lot didn't think he'd still be talking about his classic hit "Baby Got Back" decades after its release. Since the anthem impacted back in 1992, the 51-year old rapper has become the godfather of booty records, which have recently made a mainstream comeback thanks to records like Jennifer Lopez's "Booty" and Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass." But booty fever has remained a cultural constant throughout the years thanks to his smash single's staying power, sung by characters on Friends and The Simpsons and soundtracking everything from children's films (Shrek) to Oscar picks (The Wolf of Wall Street).

Most recently, "Baby Got Back" returned the charts by way of Nicki Minaj heavily sampling the track on her hit "Anaconda," currently sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. In honor of the single's success, Sir Mix-A-Lot spoke with Billboard about how the "Anaconda" sample came about, the mainstream's sudden focus on butts and why "Baby Got Back" has persevered for so long.

When did you learn that "Baby Got Back" was going to be sampled?
Nicki got my manager's number through Universal, we both have deals with Universal, and she got on the phone with us one night. It was just old school vibing. She had this idea she was feeling pretty good about. We had already told her it was cool to use it [but] she called back saying she wanted to change something about the chorus. She ended up coming up with all the ideas. Next thing I know, the song was done. One thing I'll say about her is she's a beast in the studio. I think sometimes, people look at the sexy stuff and they think she shows up and does her vocal time and then leaves. No. That girl works hard. I was very impressed with her work ethic.

Did she send you drafts or did she just ask your permission to sample it?
I had just heard small little snippets of what was going on. After that, she didn't send anything, which was understandable, because things get leaked and it takes the edge off the release. I understood why there were no copies.

When you first heard the record, what was your impression?
I really like it and it's funny because some people tell me, 'oh, that's not the meaning of 'Baby Got Back,' because it's not "Baby Got Back!" Don't get me started on that. But, when I first heard it, I really liked it. I liked the change in feel. She did a lot of things, like at one point she really slowed the track down at half-speed and then went back to full speed. It was pretty fun. It was a cool song.



The song was a big deal, but the official music video took it to a whole new stratosphere. What was your first impression of the video?
I was like, "Damn!" I'm not exaggerating. I watched it probably 10 more times just to see who all these women were.(lol!) But, I thought it was fun. What it said, on a more serious note, when I did "Baby Got Back," women with curves were not accepted. But that's a fact, they were not in the mainstream. We've come 180 degrees from that point. Not only is it accepted, but it's also expected, which I thought was cool. To me, if nothing else proved it, that did. It was a sexy ass video. I tell people all the time, I'm Mix-A-Lot. I'm not a rocket scientist. I'm not stupid, but I believe in having fun with music, and that's what I believe it was. It was fun. I had a ball with the song, I loved the song. What was really impressive, honestly, was the way she ramped up her social media efforts. Just being on the inside looking out… it was incredible to watch it ramping up and the fans retweeted her stuff.

What's been this new generation's reaction to discovering your song? I'm sure there are plenty of people who are just learning about "Baby Got Back."
I haven't run into those people yet. The people that I've been running into, they're like, 'it's about time someone used it.' These are kids. I'm talking about 17, 18-year old kids walking up, going, "I've been listening to that track since I was 12, about time somebody did it.’ But it's really interesting that YouTube has become everybody's music source, so people get to go backwards in time and listen to stuff.

Have you thought about or been asked to perform the sample part with Nicki Minaj at any point?
That was something that had been discussed but some things didn't work out on my end, on my side, really. It was timing, I was on tour and other stuff, but you know, my thing is, I don't want get in the way of the track. A lot of people say that we need to do something together, but in my opinion, this is Nicki's creation, this is her thing and getting in the way of it is not cool. I think it should be done the way she wants it done. If she asks, great. If she doesn't, it doesn't offend me at all. It's a beautiful thing. One thing you don't want is some fart getting in the way of the track. That's how I feel about it, and there are so many guys who have been where I've been and seem to resist the fact that the game is being pushed forward. But that's natural, it goes where it's supposed to go. So I love it, and I don't want to get in the way of it at all. She doesn't have to pay homage; she's already done that by redoing the track.

Billy Eichner Screamed in Letterman's Face and They Both Loved It



The beauty of Billy Eichner's humor is that it isn't exactly understated. Not everyone appreciates it (dummies), but thankfully, Dave Letterman does.

Eichner appeared on last night's episode of The Late Show and delighted Dave and the audience alike with a game of "Celebrity Child or Kentucky Derby Winner?" As is often the case with Billy on the Street games, it devolved into a lot of screaming. That said, Letterman came away pretty happy and $18 richer.

Sighhhh, some TV hosts get to have all the fun.

Katie Holmes has just set her directorial debut with the upcoming film All We Had, which will be adapted from the Annie Weatherwax novel of the same name, THR reports.

The 35-year-old actress will not only direct the movie – she will also star as a mother who lives on the edge of poverty with her 13-year-old daughter.

Jane Rosenthal will produce with The Fault in Our Stars director Josh Boone writing the script.

“Katie has such a clear vision for the book’s irreverent, original mother-daughter relationship. Her passion for the material, along with Josh Boone’s ability to tell stories grounded in the comedy and drama of everyday, will truly bring these characters to life,” Jane said in a statement.
