Paul Adelstein to recur on Scandal this season!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Paul Adelstein has booked a return trip to Shondaland, with a plum role on ABC’s Scandal.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the Private Practice alum will recur during Season 3 of Shonda Rhimes’ buzzy D.C. drama in what is thus far (and of course) a secret role.

Regardless, hopefully Adelstein’s character fares better than that of real-life wife Liza Weil, who of course played White House intern Amanda Tanner during Season 1.

Now this is a good-looking group of men ...

The Hemsworth brothers stepped out for the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival yesterday (Sept. 7) to attend the premiere of Chris Hemsworth's new film, "Rush." The youngest of the brood, Liam Hemsworth, 23, as well as the oldest, Luke Hemsworth, 32, supported Chris, 30, as he celebrated his latest movie, which is already getting Oscar buzz.

Chris was also joined on the red carpet by his wife, Elsa Pataky, who wowed in a curve-hugging, white lace gown. Liam's fiancee, Miley Cyrus, however, did not attend the event, adding fuel to the rumors that the couple has called it quits.

Still, Chris did talk about his future sister-in-law's racy VMA performance, telling E! News that he actually never had the chance to watch it.

"I haven't seen it," he said, adding, "I've been in Kuala Lumpur two weeks ago, then Jakarta, then Hong Kong [and] Toronto now. The breaks I get, they're with my family. There's not much surfing the 'net at the moment."

Maybe that's a good thing?

Golden Showers Sets 'Black Panties' Release Date

0
0

R. Kelly has announced he'll release "Black Panties," his 12th studio album, on Nov. 11. At a listening session in Atlanta over the weekend, a sweat-drenched Kellz told attendees the album is the product of his artistic tenacity.

"I took my story and what I've been through and I channeled it," he said. "If you can take tragedy and turn it into triumph, that's when you've reached the zenith of a true champion. Don't mean to be too deep but this shit is real. I didn't run under a rock and go over here or there. I stayed focused. And I'm more focused then ever."

"Black Panies" follows up 2012's "Write Me Back," which debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. In July he released the new album's first single, "My Story," featuring an assist from rapper 2 Chainz.

At the listening session, the soul-R&B icon said the album doesn't shy away from any elements of his crazy life.

"My story is all of this: sex, money, broke, women, clubs, and even church. It's all of those things mixed up into one," he said. "I'm not afraid of it, I understand it is the nature of life. This gift I have is a beautiful disease and I glad I got it."

Michelle Pfeiffer wants to play a character like Jack Bauer

0
0

Michelle Pfeiffer is one of those actresses whose career you look back on and just marvel at. For an industry that supposedly disposes of actors as soon as they start to show their age, she has endured, racking up countless unforgettable performances with a whole host of amazing directors (to name a few: Jonathan Demme, Tim Burton, Robert Zemeckis, Matthew Vaughn, George Miller, and Brian De Palma). Not only has she not slowed down as the years have gone on, she's gotten better.

Next up for her is writer/director Luc Besson's "The Family," playing a mob wife forced to relocate to a rural French village after her husband (Robert De Niro) squeals on his mafia cohorts. In the movie Pfeiffer gets to curse, scream, and blow up a small French supermarket. In other words: everything you dream about while attending drama school.

We got to sit down with the radiant (and, it should also be noted, sassy) Pfeiffer and we talked about whether or not she had any problems with the film's extremely violent content, what it was like working with De Niro after costarring in two films together without actually sharing any screen time, and whether or not she'd be interested in ever doing a show with her husband, the acclaimed television producer David E. Kelly.

You've sort of starred with Robert De Niro a couple of times...
Yes. In theory...

Was it exciting to finally work with him for real?
Yes, third time is a charm, I guess. What actor doesn't want to work with him?

What's interesting is that you have almost as much mob history as he does...
Not quite as much as him.

Well, "Married to the Mob" is a super important film. And "Scarface," obviously.
Yeah, I've never considered that a mob movie. It's more like the drug cartels or whatever.

You're pretty iconic in that movie, too. Do people come up to you and talk about "Scarface?"
Sometimes... sometimes...

And how do you feel about that?
It's cool.

You've also worked with so many amazing directors. Have you always wanted to work with Luc?
Yes, I love Luc and I was so excited about him, particularly for this piece, because he has the right sensibilities. He's really good with performances, he's really good with action, and he's funny. And he has that weird kind of French/American hybrid person. He's so interesting. I think his personality is really captured in the tone of the film because it's this weird European/American hybrid.

Did anything surprise you about it when you finally saw it?
I was just really happy with how well it turned out. That surprised me. Just because I'm really critical and you have a vision of how things are going to turn out but ultimately it's the director's vision and very rarely is it the same. If it was going to be my vision I would have directed it. I was really happy with it.

There's currently a big uproar about violence in movies. Was that ever a concern for you?
I was a little concerned until I saw it with an audience. And ultimately the audience really got it and really understood it and really went with it. They weren't upset by it and they got the humor and ultimately they came away with the fact that it's really about family, it's about that strong family bond. So I'm really happy with that.

And it must be nice to be in an R-rated movie...
Because there are so few of them?

Well, yeah. Every movie has to be marketed to a 13-year-old boy these days.
Everybody wants that PG-13!

Even something like "Dark Shadows" could have probably benefited from an R.
Yeah, maybe. I loved "Dark Shadows."

What was it like re-teaming with Tim Burton?
Oh, I love Tim. Every day I'd show up to work and I'd be like, Oh I remember why I love him so much! He is so fun. SO FUN.

I'm not sure what happened with that movie. I don't know why it didn't connect.
I don't either. Honestly... I don't know. I thought it would be a huge hit. I'm not sure what happened there.

"Stardust" was another movie that I thought would be bigger than it ended up being...
It was bigger in Europe than it was here. (This pretty much proves America has flop taste...sometimes)

How long do you give yourself to reflect on things like that?
I don't. It's why I stopped producing. I don't want to reflect on that. I don't want to think about it. I just want to go act and have that experience. I don't want to think about box office.

"The Family" will do well.
I think so. I think so. Because I saw it with an audience and they really loved it. It's just the question of whether or not it's marketed right and it's opened at the right time. I mean I've had other films where audiences loved it and it just didn't open because it was the wrong weekend.

Like what happened with "I Could Never Be Your Woman?"
That was... really tragic. That was, basically, it was one of those financial things where, if I understand it correctly, in order to raise the money (I'm probably going to get this wrong) to get the movie made they sold off some of the distribution rights so when it came to get the distribution deal here, it didn't make sense for anybody to put up the money to distribute it. So we couldn't get the distribution, and so that's what happened. So they kind of played it in a country... I would hear, "Oh it made $1 million in Argentina." And then they'd play it in Peru or something. It made a couple million here or there and then disappeared on DVD.

Going back to "The Family," did you give your co-star Dianna Agron, any tips?
Dianna doesn't need any advice from me. Trust me.

Did she ask?
NO!

But you've had this amazing career.
Yeah, but she doesn't need any advice. She's a young adult, doing great work and making great work. Trust me.

Speaking of younger actresses, I'm assuming you saw "Dark Knight Rises." What did you think of Anne Hathaway's Catwoman?
Oh, I did. I thought she did a great job. I'm a big Anne Hathaway fan. I like her a lot. I really do.

And you liked her interpretation?
I did. Yeah.

You've done so many types of movies, is there one that you still want to do or want to revisit?
I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd like to do an action movie.

You got to do some action here.
Yeah, but I want to be like the Kiefer Sutherland character in "24." Jack Bauer? I want to be like him!

Could you do a TV show, you think?
I think so. There's really great work being done on TV right now. That's where a lot of the really work is being done. Actors just want to do good work. It doesn't matter where it is.

David's never said, "Let's do a show together?"
I don't know if we want to risk any kind of friction. I like the way things are between us. Not that we won't do it one day but I like the way things are and I'm not looking to do something and I don't think he is either.

But you want to do an all-out action movie?
Yeah I want to kick butt.

Luc produces all these really profitable action movies in Europe. Have you seen those?
Yeah, I love them.

You could be "Taken"!
Or I could be the taker!

Yes! Now you're talking!
[Laughs]

Everyone looks so good.

Madonna was the top-earning celebrity of 2013. What’s her secret?

0
0

Madonna has stayed on top for three decades. On August 25, 2013 Forbes magazine named Madonna the top-earning celebrity of 2013. Between June of 2012 and June of 2013 Madonna raked in an estimated $125 million. While other pop stars of the 80s have tragically imploded, Madonna remains a supernova. What is the neuroscience behind her daily routines that has given her the resilience, chutzpah, and creative juice to keep going strong for over 30 years?

Madonna is the Queen of Superfluidity
Madonna has always had the ability to take regular "flow" to it’s highest tier of superfluidity. Superfluidity is created when all four hemispheres of your brain are working symmetrically without any friction or viscosity. The ability to create superfluidity makes Madonna an incredible performer and overall powerhouse. One interesting clue to how Madonna is able to create superfluidity can be found in the sound checks she does religiously before every concert.
During the afternoon before each of the 88 performances of the MDNA tour Madonna would run through the entire show so that her muscle memory and proprioception held in the cerebellum (down brain) would be at ease and allow her to tap into a superfluid state of performance in front of the paying audience each night. Madonna practices harder than almost any other celebrity and always has.
Practice makes perfect because it allows your cerebellum to go into autopilot mode, which frees up the cerebrum (up brain). The harmony of all brain hemispheres allows anyone to achieve superfluidity. This performance of Vogue from the 1990 MTV awards is superfluidity in action.
I remember the Sunday night in 1983 when my friend Paula called me to ask if I wanted to go see Madonna at the Metro. Madonna had a song called ‘Everybody’ playing on urban radio, but ‘Holiday’ wasn’t a single yet. I had a high school term paper on Joseph Conrad’s book “Lord Jim” due that week and was hesitant to go out clubbing, but Paula twisted my arm and we headed to Lansdowne Street just next to Fenway Park with fake ID’s in hand.
The club was only half full. It was a rainy night and Madonna was still unknown. She only sang 4 songs from her first album with a live microphone and a prerecorded backing track. Her brother Christopher and her friend Erica were the background dancers. You can hear Madonna say to someone offstage "I can't hear myself" in this rare clip of the show Madonna @ Metro 1983. Clearly Madonna is having trouble with the sound. A mistake I’m sure that she realized made it difficult for her to create flow and superfluidity, hence the rigorous sound checks in following years.
From the moment Madonna took the stage back in 1983, I knew there was something extraordinary about her. I was in the front row and completely mesmerized. Her charisma radiated and literally filled the room. I had never heard anyone drop the F-bomb publicly, and as a gay teenager her boldness lined with a certain vulnerability was something that I identified with and wanted to emulate.
The morning after the show I went directly to the Strawberries record store in Kenmore Square and bought her album. Anyone who had the pleasure of living near me until her next album, Like a Virgin, came out in November of 1984 knows that I blasted that first album non-stop for basically two years. (I apologize to my dorm mates btw!)
The song “Holiday” playing on my Walkman, kick-started every run as a teenager and all of Madonna’s subsequent songs became anthems for me on and off the competitive playing field. When I was breaking the Guinness World Record by running 153.76-miles on the treadmill at the Flagship Kiehl’s store in the East Village I made sure to have a DJ blasting Shep Pettibone extended Madonna dance remixes at regular intervals throughout the 24 hour run. Madonna’s music was a part of my winning formula as an athlete from the beginning.

Madonna’s Physicality and Exercise Regimen Sets Her Mind and Body Apart
I have a few quotes in The Athlete's Way by Madonna. One of them is, “I’ve never been a very passive person. Physicality, feeling strong, feeling empowered was my ticket out of middle-class Midwest culture. So I equate movement and strength with freedom.” The fact that Madonna’s roots are as a dancer and a drummer make sense from a neuroscientific perspective. Both of these activities are primarily cerebellar (of or pertaining to the cerebellum) but each also require the strong executive function of the cerebrum.
Madonna has always been known as an exercise fanatic. It’s no coincidence that Madonna is one of the healthiest, and most fit celebrities and also tops the Forbes list of 2013's highest earners. When you look at the daily routines of highly successful people who don’t burn out, regular physical activity is most often a key ingredient to their longevity. If you don’t exercise a little bit most days of the week your body and brain will atrophy.
From a neurochemical perspective Madonna’s body and brain are a well oiled and finely tuned machine. The daily choices Madonna has made to maintain intimate bonds with family and friends, move her body regularly, practice mindfulness, and eat right for the past thirty years has created the perfect neurochemical recipe for optimism, resilience, and enduring success.
Madonna regularly exposes herself to enriched environments both physically and intellectually which creates neurogenesis (growth of new neurons) in the gray and white matter of both the cerebrum and the cerebellum. Madonna’s intelligence is often underestimated. Watching an interview she gave at the Warner Bros. offices in early 1984 makes it clear that Madonna has a perfect blend of intuition and intelligence and did from the beginning of her career.
Besides her MDNA tour being the highest grossing tour of 2012, Madonna’s savvy investments have paid off. I have no doubt that during her daily workouts Madonna is strategizing and problem solving in a way that has given her an enduring advantage when making wise investment decisions.

Limousines Are a Creative Death Trap
I love that Madonna tries to take to the streets when she can and absorb the world around her either by walking, jogging or biking. You can see her soaking up the world and bulking up her cerebellar 'street smarts' while jogging in this vintage shot from the early 90s. If you look at the daily routines of creative greats throughout the ages, some type of physical activity is always going to be a part of the origin of one’s imagination and eureka moments.
Madonna is incredibly prolific. She has always written the majority of her own lyrics and music. While other singers and songwriters seem to run out of new ideas or inspiration — Madonna’s creative juices are still going strong. The fact that Madonna didn’t become a drug addict helped her stay alive and maintain her enduring success. Sweat has always been Madonna’s drug of choice.
Being driven around in a limousine causes your cerebellum to shrink because you don’t have to use it to monitor your body’s position in space (proprioception), balance or coordination of muscle movements.
Madonna is the queen of coordinated muscle movement and probably has the bulkiest and most robust cerebellum of any pop star. This makes her cerebrum and executive function stronger, too. The fact Lady Gaga was sidelined by a hip injury and was wheelchair bound and sequestered creates a double whammy by shriveling the cerebellum and street level connectedness.

Conclusion: Revolution of Love
At a time in the 80s when it wasn’t popular to talk about HIV/AIDS Madonna stuck her neck out and showed fierce compassion and advocacy. At the zenith of her career she had the courage to include a pale blue “The Facts About AIDS” insert in every patchouli scented “Like a Prayer” album, CD and cassette. She continues to advocate for the underdog and be outspoken politically as she made clear with Anderson Cooper at the 24th annual GLAAD awards.
In terms of loving-kindness, Madonna is much more generous and magnanimous than most people realize. Her charity and volunteer work is impressive. There is abundant research that altruistism and fighting for the underdog creates neurobiological changes that increase resilience and longevity. Madonna’s latest Secret Project will be released September 24, 2013 and is all about art, freedom, and a revolution of love.
The neuroscience behind Madonna’s enduring success is founded in daily choices that over a lifetime reshape the electrical, chemical and architecture of the brain. We all have the power to make choices every day that will make our bodies and minds healthier, stronger and more resilient over the long haul.
Many studies have shown that listening to our favorite music is good for our health. Luckily, if you like Madonna’s music you can use it as a tool to help you achieve some of the success she has by inspiring you to move your body. Even if you don’t like her music, you can learn from her lifestyle choices and create daily habits to maximize your potential, create superfluidity and achieve enduring success.

Arcade Fire's "Reflecktor" Music Video

Arcade Fire's new single "Reflektor" is so epic, it has been given not one but two music videos, both released on the same day.

The first one, unveiled earlier today, was an interactive experience directed by frequent Arcade Fire collaborator Vincent Morisset. The second one is a traditional, non-interactive video, directed by post-punk film/photography legend Anton Corbijn, as anticipated. The black-and-white video features the band reunited with their big heads from the "Sprawl II" era in a suspenseful film noir caper.

Living the high life! Miley Cyrus spends SEVEN HOURS in Amsterdam 'coffee shop'

article-2416023-1BB6B486000005DC-40_634x715

Showing no signs of slowing down her rebellious streak, Miley Cyrus stopped by a coffee shop in Amsterdam on Sunday for over seven hours.

It is widely known that coffee shops in that European city allow patrons to light up canabis.

The Twerker brought with her a group of friends and at lunchtime loaded up on junk food to cure what surely must have been a bad case of the munchies.

Dressed hippie chic in a white tank top with a pink-and-black tribal patterned leggings with a floral top tied around her waist, gold platform trainers and lots of gold chains around her neck, the singer fit right into the offbeat neighbourhood.

That heart-shaped Chanel purse she is known for carting around didn't make an appearance.

She wore less makeup than usual though still looked radiant, and she let her short blonde hair flow naturally under a funky black beanie.

Several friends joined her as did a bodyguard who looked out for her.

She arrived at the Greenhouse coffee shop at 10 am and left at 5:30 pm.

She was all smiles as she emerged from the shop, clearly having enjoyed her long stretch in the smoke den.

The 20-year-old arrived in Amsterdam late on Saturday night.

The outspoken Billboard staple has made her love for pot-smoking no secret.

In July she told Australia's Style magazine, 'When I smoke, I don’t get the sick feeling I get when I drink, or that anger rising up.'

She added, 'There’s a reason Bob Marley was like some kind of musical Rasta Mother Teresa!'

In June she told Rolling Stone magazine, 'I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana — people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don’t care.'

She continued, 'I’ve seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I’ve never seen that happen with weed.'

Also in June the blonde admitted on the late night show Jimmy Kimmel that she has smoked marijuana.

The controversial VMA performer didn't stay long in Amsterdam.

By Monday she was already in Paris, where she was seen braving the rain in head-to-toe Chanel with a handler to hit NRJ Studios where she was mobbed by fans.

Miley has been very busy in Europe promoting her fourth album Bangerz, which is her first album with her new punk look and attitude, which is quite the 180 from the Country Bumpkin image she used to fuel her teenage career.

On Saturday she spanked a Twerking dwarf as she sang We Can't Stop on German TV.

Bangerz will be release on October 8 and the album will reportedly feature a collaboration between Miley and Britney Spears.

While in Paris, the Grammy favourite was dressed her best in Chanel, showing off a pearl Chanel necklace and chunky Chanel cuff.

Her grey, silver and black ensemble was offbeat but made a sound fashion statement.

She didn't fail to clutch a Chanel purse. Long red nails topped off the look.

Miley is no stranger to Paris.

She spent time in the City of Lights, staying at the famed Lancaster hotel, when she shot scenes in 2010 for her comedy LOL; Laughing Out Loud with Demi Moore and Ashley Greene.

Paris is just a short trip for the singer who has many more appearances to promote her new album.

On September 21 she will be in Las Vegas for a iHeart Radio performance.

Meanwhile, The Last Song darling has hardly been spending time with her Australian actor fiance Liam Hemsworth, who did not appear to be on this European tour with her.

There have been many questions about the status of their engagement as reports have surfaced that they are on and off, and at times Miley goes out on the town both with and without her engagement ring.

The couple was last photographed together on August 8 at the red carpet premiere of Liam's film Paranoia. They seemed to be in good spirits, often having their arms around each other.

The two have been living together in Miley's LA home though it's not clear if Liam still spends much time there.

Miley's litter sister Noah, 13, is seeing better luck with her love life, however. She has been spotted in Malibu with Paris Brosnan, the son of James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan.

The Daily Fail reports that Queen Natalie Dormer has called off her wedding

Game over... 'Too busy' Thrones star Natalie Dormer calls off her wedding

Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has called off her wedding to fiance Anthony Byrne.

Friends say that Natalie blames her hectic work schedule for the U-turn and although her spokesman insists the couple are still together, sources claim they have barely seen each other in months.

Natalie, 31, rose to fame last year playing manipulative Margaery Tyrell in the TV smash hit Game Of Thrones and her acting career has gone from strength to strength ever since.

But Anthony, an aspiring film director, has struggled to make his mark in Hollywood.

‘Natalie is relishing her moment in the spotlight and her upcoming movie roles are only going to make her bigger.

'But she is now so focused on ensuring that she remains successful that she doesn’t have time to concentrate on her relationship.

‘She has been travelling around the world, playing new roles, attending parties and meeting new people. Anthony has remained in the background.’

Natalie and Anthony were engaged in 2011, after meeting on the set of period drama The Tudors in 2007. In July the actress confessed that her hectic schedule had made planning a wedding impossible.

FOURTH Porn Actor Confirms Positive Test For HIV… As Fears Of An Epidemic Grow

Another porn star has revealed he has tested positive for HIV, the fourth such case reported in less than three weeks, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The male actor confirmed his diagnosis to the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, the largest nonprofit global HIV/AIDS organization in the world which is presently fighting for a statewide condom rule in California.

“I can confirm,” the organization’s president Michael Weinstein told Radar. “However, he has asked that all other information be kept strictly confidential at this time.”

When pressed on the circumstances of the latest infection, Weinstein refused to elaborate further: “I have nothing else to say about the performer.”

The organization would not release details on the porn performer, including any adult film company that employed him.

It’s the latest blow to the multibillion dollar adult industry, which could be shut down indefinitely in the wake of the health crisis.

Last month, an actress who goes by the screen name Cameron Bay tested positive for HIV, prompting a weeklong voluntary halt on shooting.

On Tuesday a second performer, Rod Daily, who performs primarily in gay porn but is romantically linked to Bay, announced that he had also tested positive.

Then, on Friday, a third actor — whose name was not been released — also reported a positive read, as first revealed by Radar.

After Bay tested positive, production was shut down for about a week but the moratorium was lifted after the industry’s medical advisory council cleared all the performers who had worked with her.

Weinstein, whose AIDS Healthcare Foundation led the successful 2012 campaign to require condoms in porn productions in Los Angeles County, said it was too soon to use the word epidemic in the wake of the fourth test.

“It is however, an outrage and a slow motion crash that led to multiple infections based on the negligence of pornographers and Los Angeles County,” he said.

“All of these infections would have been prevented with the use of condoms.

“There is too much parsing over ‘cross-over’, ‘on-set/off-set’, ‘window periods’, etc. Sooner of later driving without a seatbelt or having unprotected sex is likely to lead to injury — those are the facts.”

35 Hottest Movie/TV Teachers

School bells are ringing again; don't hate (all) movie/TV educators because they're beautiful...

Ezra Fitz, Pretty Little Liars

An F for his morals but an A for, well, everything else we see.

Elizabeth Halsey
, Bad Teacher

No noble educator here. Cameron Diaz's middle school teacher is a heartless, coarsely self-centered, and manipulative schemer. But she looks so good while she does it.

Phil, The Hangover

Well, we can only judge by how he shepherds his hungover friends around, but Phil seems like an excellent (to look at) caretaker.

Glee, Matthew Morrison

He's got an awesome sweater vest collection and hair to die for, but it's really his commitment to his students that has us hooked.

Daniel Faraday, Lost

While trying to save his friends, this spacey physicist packed a whole lot of emotion and angst into just a few longing looks, especially when directed at his very own red-haired girl.

Angelina Jolie's New Tattoo

There was no Twitter announcement or a revealing photo shoot - good old Angelina Jolie simply revealed her new tattoo the old fashioned way...by lifting her arm.

Working mum and all round philanthropist Ange showed off her new etching in a short-sleeved black top in Australia - it is believed to be her 18th etching so far.Her new tattoo is relatively small by Ange's standards and is believed to be an Arabic saying, sitting below her "determination" inking which has left us wondering exactly what it could mean.We really hope it is something spiritual and inspiring and Hollywood siren Ange won't regret it like these celebrities. (whatever)It is thought mother-of-six Angelina, 38, had the tattoo done following her double mastectomy operation earlier this year.

Angelina is currently in Sydney with her children to film her new movie Unbroken, while fiancé Brad Pitt will stay in the UK until December. They were recently seen taking in the sights, without a nanny in sight. The UN Ambassador is directing Unbroken - which tells the story of World War II hero Lou Zamperini - a Los Angeles high school athletics star who raced in the 1936 Berlin Olympics before joining the war effort. When his Air Force plane crashed in the Pacific in 1943 he survived without food and water for 47 days before washing ashore on a Japanese Island where he was held as a prisoner of war for two years.Angelina made her directing debut with In The Land Of Blood And Honey in 2011, which was nominated for a Golden Globe.

Speaking about her tattoos Angelina has said: "I love them. They’re body art.
"I don’t think it’s abnormal that someone who spends their life in other skins wants to claim their own by marking things on it that matter to them.

Sony is releasing a new version of the concert documentary, featuring 20 minutes of new footage and four songs previously not included in the film.

Can't get enough of One Direction? You're in luck. Banking on young fans' insatiable appetite for anything related to the British pop band, Sony is releasing an extended version of the concert doc One Direction: This Is Us. The film will hit theaters on Friday, Sept 13, Sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing and Distribution chairman Jeff Blake announced Monday.

The longer version will feature 20 minutes of new footage and four songs not previously in the concert doc. Morgan Spurlock directed the film, which follows the British pop boy band -- Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson -- around the world for six months.

One Direction: This Is Us opened soft in 2,500 theaters domestically on the weekend of Aug. 30. Sony/TriStar had predicted that One Direction would win the four-day weekend with $21.5 million after coming in ahead of The Butler for the three-day stretch, but the film missed the mark, placing second with $18.5 million. With a modest $10 million budget, the 3D concert doc has already earned $23.9 million to date domestically. It has also opened in many markets around the world, earning $16 million in foreign markets for a worldwide cume of nearly $50 million. The film is produced by Spurlock, Simon Cowell, Adam Milano and Ben Winston. The executive producers are Richard Griffiths, Harry Magee, Will Bloomfield, Doug Merrifield, Jeremy Chilnick and Matthew Galkin.

Gucci Mane Is Currently On A Twitter Rant...Claiming He Got Freaky With Everyone & The Kitchen Sink

Unless someone has hacked his account this afternoon (Sept. 9), Gucci Mane has embarked on a Twitter rant including claims that he had sex with Nicki Minaj.

The Atlanta rapper’s series of volatile messages also boast claims that he has slept with other notable females in R&B and hip-hop. They include Future‘s boo Ciara, someone named “Buffy,” Monica, someone named “Keyshia,” someone named “Kelly,” T.I.’s wife Tiny, Fantasia, and others. He then tweeted that Iggy Azalea would like to, um, provide him with a certain service.

Additionally, Gucci threw shots at damn near everyone he could, like T.I., Drake, Yo Gotti, Jeezy, Waka Flocka Flame, and even more. It’s not clear if this is going to lead to some kind of proper diss track or merely more Twitter arguments, but we’ll be sure to let you know if and when this escalates. Hopefully it won’t turn violent.
