Just how long is that runway in 'Fast & Furious 6'?
Well, let's see ... considering the speed at which the cars and the plane were going and the fact that they were hauling ass for the better part of 13 minutes worth of screen time, we estimate the runway at the end of "Fast & Furious 6" is about the same length as the distance from New York City to, oh, Cleveland, Ohio.
Super-long airport runways are nothing new to Hollywood blockbusters, but the one in "Fast & Furious 6" went from ridiculous to the realm of the supernatural. See how it compares to the super-long runaways of "Argo" and "Die Hard 2" and you'll see what we mean ... and expect that there might be an even longer runway as early as next summer in "Fast & Furious 7."

Angelina From Jersey Shore Makes a Music Video, Pretends to be Gay
Partly in response to her getting criticized for...well, criticizing gay marriage, to prove she's ~down with the gays or something, and partly in her never-ending bid to stay relevant, former Jersey Shore cast member Angelina Pivarnick recently shot this music video with some dude named Adam Barta, where she pretends to be gay and marry a girl in the ever-classy Times Square.
Oh, and she also recently attacked Snooki and Deena on Twitter while defending herself and her video. Someone called her a "tramp," and she responded: “While Snooki and Deena fucked every guy in the house lmfao.”
AND she got into it with Jenelle Evans, who dared to critique her video, resulting in a small Twitter war.

Blake Shelton talks marriage DRAMA ....
It's been two years since Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton tied the knot, but it hasn't always been total bliss for the couple.In recent months, the country stars have been the subject of rumors about troubles in their relationship. Now, Shelton is opening up about their marriage – and he tells PEOPLE that there are no secrets between the two."[I tell Miranda], 'I have nothing to hide from you,'" he says.
In fact, The Voice judge says one secret to making their marriage work is giving Lambert access to his phone – if she wants it. "That's always been our policy: 'Here's my phone. Go through it,'" he says."That's really the kind of trust we have," Shelton continues. "There are no secrets. [I'll say,] 'Go dig through my drawers or my computer if you feel like you need to.' And that's been a really good thing, because I don't want her to ever have any doubts."
Even amid the rumors, Shelton and Lambert seem undaunted. Days before their May 14 anniversary, Shelton jetted to Bakersfield, Calif., for an unannounced performance at Lambert's Pistol Annies show. And the two will appear together Wednesday night for the televised benefit Healing in the Heartland on NBC, which will raise money for victims of the tornado in Shelton's homestate of Oklahoma.

HBO releases season 6 sneak peek for first three episodes of 'True Blood'
Fans of HBO's supernatural horror hit "True Blood" have been anxiously awaiting it's return, especially after the blood-soaked reincarnation of fan-favorite Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) in last year's shocking season finale.
On Mon., May 28, HBO announced the premiere date, along with a sneak peek at the first three episodes, for the highly-anticipated season 6.
The series kicks off on Sun., June 16 at 9pm, and Riverside Horror will bring you all the latest "True Blood" news, clips, recaps and photos as they are released.
As the new season begins, we will find the Authority is in flames, and the synthetic cocktail TruBlood is in short supply. As Bill comes to terms with his new-found powers after emerging reincarnated from a pool of blood, humans are in open conflict with vampires like never before. Meanwhile, Sookie and Jason must steel themselves for an encounter with their parents’ killer, the mysterious and ancient Warlow.

In Bon Temps, Andy must deal with parenting four newborn human-fairy hybrids, left for him in a surprising twist in last summer's season finale. Not a welcome surprise for Andy's girlfriend, Holly. Meanwhile, Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard) vows open season on vampires, and Jessica returns to Compton Place as Jason hitches a ride with an eerie stranger.
In the second episode airing June 23, titled "The Sun," a long-lost relative reveals himself to Jason and Sookie. After Tara is victimized by a new government weapon, Eric takes matters into his own hands in an effort to thwart Burrell’s anti-vampire initiatives. On the road to work, Sookie is drawn to a handsome stranger who shares her fairy abilities. Sam is unnerved by supernatural-rights zealot Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and is confronted by Alcide and Martha (Dale Dickey) about Emma’s future. Bill contemplates the scope of his heightened powers.
Sun., June 30 brings episode three, titled "You're No Good," where Eric, irate over Burrell’s blatant aggression towards vampires, takes matters into his own hands. After dangerously testing the limits of his powers, Bill enlists a TruBlood innovator to synthesize a new type of blood but has difficulty finding the right donor. Sookie begins to learn why Warlow is after her. Sam receives unexpected help from Nicole and her Vampire Unity Society (V.U.S.) associates. Benedict Cumberbatch Admits Difficulty Over Learning Lines
Benedict Cumberbatch might be impressing hoards of fans with his acting ability, but the actor has admitted that he has suffered "meltdowns" on set after finding it difficult to learn his lines.
The star, who will soon be back on our TV screens as the iconic detective, Sherlock, has had a busy few months after his appearance in the film, Star Trek: Into Darkness.
Admitting the difficulties he has had in the past with learning lines, Benedict told the Mail Online recently:"When I was younger I had to spend double the amount of time learning French vocabulary. I struggle to learn by rote. I’ve had meltdowns on set. Which is embarrassing and shameful."
Meanwhile, fans of the hit BBC detective drama will be happy to hear that Sherlock is well and truly alive following on from the series two finale which appeared to suggest that the Baker Street detective had died.
Speaking of the new series, the talented actor said: "Sherlock is alive - that’s not an apparition. It’d be very odd if we saw inside Watson’s head and it was a picture of himself walking away from Sherlock’s grave in order to cut back to an image of Sherlock."
Exicted for the new series to begin, which also features Martin Freeman playing the role of Watson, the actor continued: "It’s a cracking first episode. I can’t wait for people to see it. Really exciting. There’s a lot to answer."
Sherlock aside, Benedict also recalled his meeting with David Beckham at a recent event in LA. He said: "I went to LA properly for the first time for the Oscars last year and ended up at Madonna’s party. I met David Beckham at the bar and said, 'Hello David, nice to meet you, I play Sherlock on television back home.'
"He said, 'Oh yeah, nice, I think I’ve seen it'. People now look at me with the look I probably gave David Beckham at the bar. This is all new and bizarre for me, but I’m adjusting to it."↧

Looks like Liam Hemsworth's brothers got their wish. A few weeks after Chris and Luke Hemsworth staged an intervention with their younger sibling to voice their concerns about his engagement to fiancee Miley Cyrus, the Hunger Games actor has called it quits with the former Disney star, multiple sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly.
"They are definitely over," one insider tells Us of the ex-lovebirds, who met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and got engaged in June 2012. (Hemsworth, 23, proposed with a 3.5-carat diamond ring, which Cyrus, 20, has worn on and off ever since.)
The split comes after months of back and forth between the two, including a recent public display of affection at a party at the "Can't Be Tamed" singer's L.A. home. Prior to that, the couple of nearly four years took some time apart and put their wedding plans on hold while Hemsworth regrouped in his native Australia.

Pop stars Beyoncé and Madonna have aligned with activists Gloria Steinem and Bishop Desmond Tutu to reach out to an expected billion people this weekend with a message of empowerment for women at a London benefit concert, Reuters reports.
Madonna will be a presenter and Beyoncé will headline "The Sound of Change Live" with Florence and the Machince and Ellie Goulding as part of a concert to be broadcast to more than 150 countries around the globe on June 1st. The concert will air on NBC in the U.S. on June 2nd.
Madonna Sells Painting for $7 Million to Fund Girls' Education Projects
The four-hour concert is organized by the Chime for Change campagaign, started by Gucci, and seeks to raise money for education, health and justice projects benefitting women and girls in more than 70 countries around the world. Ticket-buyers are able to select what project their ticket will benefit, a first for such a venture, say concert organizers.
Madonna, who will not perform at Saturday's concert, will be a presenter alongside other musicians, actors, activists and filmmakers from around the globe.
"Sixty percent of the children in the world not in school are girls," Madonna said. "Two-thirds of the world's illiterate are women. I do not accept this. We need to change this and we will change this."
The concert will also serve as a platform to showcase evocative films and other stories showcasing women's issues from a global perspective.

Teen Mom's Tyler Admits Marriage Doubts In Couples Therapy Promo
Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell will make their TV return in just a couple of weeks in the third season of VH1′s Couple’s Therapy. The former Teen Mom couple planned to marry this July but before tying the knot, Tyler and Catelynn wanted to be 100% certain that marriage was what they both wanted. In the just-released trailer, Tyler is seen admitting that he may not be ready to make the commitment.
“I don’t know if I’m ready to be married,” Tyler tells Dr. Jenn Berman in the Season 3 sneak peek. Moments later, Dr. Jenn is heard saying, “You can not walk down the aisle if you’re not ready and 100 percent committed.”
Catelynn and Tyler have been planning their summer wedding for nearly a year now and the date has been set since December of 2011. Fans definitely didn’t think these two needed therapy and when the news first broke, some worried that they could be on the verge of a split. Luckily, they weren’t.
Last month, a fan asked Catelynn why she and Tyler were doing the show and she explained, “Well we just wanna make sure if we are too young or not to get married that’s all.”
Since filming on the show wrapped, Tyler and Catelynn seem happier than ever and have been tweeting their appreciation for their time on Couple’s Therapy. “This experience has been more than beneficial to our relationship. I refuse to give up on what we’ve accomplished together,” Tyler recently told Catelynn.
Catelynn thanked Dr. Jenn personally. “Thank you so much for the awesome experience you shared with Tyler and I,” she wrote, adding, “It was awesome smashing things.”
Tyler and his fiancée Caitlyn are best known for being the only couple on MTVs 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom to put their child up for adoption. Although they struggled with trust issues on those shows, they became America’s sweethearts and appeared to have an almost perfect relationship. They’re entering Couples Therapy to show the world that their relationship is far from perfect. In fact, over the course of their therapy Dr. Jenn will discover that their issues are so serious they threaten to derail their wedding plans for later this year.
Couple’s Therapy season 3 premieres on June 12 at 10/9c on VH1.

'I hate this country': Adam Levine remark sparks backlash
An ill-considered remark by Adam Levine has the The Voice coach facing criticism from patriotic fans.
During Tuesday night’s live telecast (video below), Levine was overheard saying “I hate this country” under his breath as viewers voted off two of his contestants — Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons — while electing to rescue country singer Amber Carrington.
Levine’s hot-mike blunder sparked a Twitter backlash against the singer, with some reportedly calling for him to be fired from the show. Others were less heated: “I think I hate Maroon 5 just as much as Adam Levine hates America,” one quipped.
Rather than apologize, Levine posted a series of defensive tweets (below) that attempted to make it clear that he was joking and didn’t literally mean he hated the United States. NBC had no immediate comment.

Zozia Mamet's kickstarter flops
Zosia Mamet and her sister Clara Mamet, both children of David Mamet, have started a hipster folk band and no one is giving them a penny to make their music video.
Excuse me, that was a rude exaggeration. As of writing, nine people have donated $456 of the $32,000 goal. So there is a full 98.6 percent left that you can fund, if this band suits your fancy.
But why, you might ask, has the internet failed to leap to fund a Girls girl's musical whimsy? Are hipster folk bands with an inept banjo player no longer the latest? Oh, they still are. But here are some items from their Kickstarter campaign that might have turned off possible funders:
- The reason given for the band's existence, according to Zosia: "an excuse to spend more time together."
- The reason for the band's continuation, according to Clara: "I took up the banjo and started playing it very badly but I think that was reason enough for us to continue."
- The reason behind writing their first song: both sisters have just had their hearts broken. Actually, this acceptable reason to write a first song. Continue.
- The reason they want make the music video, according to Clara: "The song just kind of happened, we wrote it in a manner of hours, so to do an actual music video to the song would be really kind of a full circle thing."
- The reason they want you to fund the music video, according to Zosia: they want to get to know you better. "It's also a way for us to get to know you better, our music has been something that we have kept to ourselves, like a sisterly bond, but we'd love to share it with you guys."
The Mamet gals have even cooked up a little teaser video to convince you to dig deep (putting the Crackstarter to shame). It's got a bunch of pretty photos with that weird Ken Burns effect thing, punctuated by a selfie-style video of Clara (sitting in a car?) and Zosia (sitting on a pile of logs outside a cabin).
Oh, and of course, where would a Kickstarter be without the perks? The largest pledge option ($8,000) to fund the Cabin Sisters' music video gets you Zosia Mamet's director-style set chair from Season 2 of Girls with "Shoshanna" embroidered in its back. $2,500 gets you a signed banjo. Being in the entertainment industry has its lesser known downsides, like being taken out of the town your family lives in or the demanding schedules that prevent attendance at family functions. Selena Gomez will have company in tow when she hits the road for her Stars Dance Tour this summer. Boy band Emblem 3 will be joining the 20-year-old singer when her tour kicks off August 14 in Vancouver, B.C.
Along for the ride on all her North American dates, surely the boys and Selena will become close friends.
So how well do they know one another now?
Not at all!
They haven’t even met yet. However, Emblem 3 couldn’t be more excited. “We’re so psyched to be touring North America and Canada later this year, hitting a bunch of cities our fans haven’t seen us in yet. - Simon is the only "mundie" in the movie.
- Simon is the guy who basically gets dragged into all these situations and it's fun playing the guy who has no idea what's going on.
- All the other cast have to get up two hours early to get those rune tattoos put on and off, on and off, etc.

- Says he's "working with that amateur Lily Collins and dragging her through the dramatic scenes"

- Jamie says he thinks the director brought a darkness to the film that is usually lost in adaptations, and that there is a reality to it.
- Phil Collins' daughter says that it's fun to play a "very old school, back and forth bickering", regarding Clary and Jace.

Writer: Live-Action Akira Would Have Been Set on Japanese-Owned Manhattan
Gary Whitta, a screenwriter on the shuttered live-action Akira film, spoke in an interview with film website Collider about his perspective on the project. Whitta worked on the film for about six months while director Ruairi Robinson was attached in 2008. Robinson was replaced by Albert Hughes, who in turn was replaced by Jaume Collet-Serra.
Whitta stated the film was shooting for below an R rating — a difficult task due to the subject matter — while trying to balance Western aesthetics with fans' desires.
We always dealt with the problem of, [and] I think what a lot of the fans felt was problematic, was the westernization of it; [it's like] 'they're never going to make the $100 million movie with an all-Japanese cast. You need to westernize it.' And that almost became kind of a joke—like, the idea of Shia LaBeouf as Tetsuo or whatever. People are going to have a hard time with that, and certainly the fans.
Whitta was looking to balance both by having the film take place in "New Tokyo." In this version of the script, America sold the island of Manhattan to Japan which in turn developed New Tokyo on the island.
What we did was, the idea is that there'd been a massive economic crash in the United States and in our desperation, we sold Manhattan Island to the Japanese, who were becoming a very powerful economic force, and they were having an overpopulation problem, because Japan is a series of islands, it can only accommodate so many people. So they just bought Manhattan Island, and it became the fifth island of Japan, and they populated it. It became New Tokyo, and it was just off the coast of the United States. So it was Japanese territory, it wasn't New Tokyo, but there were Americans who kind of lived in little Americanized quarters of it. I felt it was a way to do a kind of cool Western-Eastern fusion of the two ideas; not fully Japanese, not fully westernized. Whether or not you'll ever see that version, I don't know, but I thought that was kind of a cool solution to that problem of westernization of a Japanese concept.
Production on the film shut down after Garrett Hedlund (TRON: Legacy) had already been cast as Kaneda. In addition, there were talks to bring on Kristen Stewart, Gary Oldman, and Helena Bonham Carter.
The Hollywood Reporter trade magazine's Heat Vision blog reported in 2012 that production ceased due to "casting and budgetary issues." According to insiders, if the project's issues cannot be resolved, it "could end up being shelved entirely." No new developments in the project have since been announced,, and director Collet-Serra signed on to direct Dark Castle Productions' Non-Stop film, which is slated for release this year.
