Taylor Swift: Recalling my exes makes me feel so bad about myself

"Every time I come up here you put a different dude up on the screen. It just makes me really question what I stand for as a human being. "

Ellen DeGeneres loves teasing Taylor Swift about her ex-boyfriends! On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 22-year-old country singer chats about her new album, Red, which features more breakup hits about her ex-boyfriends.

Much to DeGeneres' dismay, Swift vehemently denies she ever dated Zac Efron -- despite the adorable duet they performed together during her last appearance on the show. "There's nothing really about Zac on the CD . . . because we didn't date," the singer said.

In order to try and determine who her new song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," is about, DeGeneres decided to show a slideshow of Swift's rumored exes. She then asked Swift to ring a bell for three pictures, so the audience could narrow down who it is about.

"But I don't want to! I don't want to!" Swift shouted. "Because they'll send me angry emails and I don't want to get them!"

She flat out denied dating Efron, Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher when their pictures appeared, but got uncomfortable when photos of Taylor Lautner, Cory Monteith and John Mayer flashed on the screen.

"Stop it, stop it, stop!" Swift screamed. "This makes me feel so bad about myself. Every time I come up here you put a different dude up on the screen. It just makes me really question what I stand for as a human being. There's never been two guys on the screen two visits in a row. It's sad."

"Well, you have to come here more often," DeGeneres offered as a solution. "That's what it is."

MTV Developing Elizabeth Norris' Young Adult Novel 'Unraveling' (Exclusive)

"Are We Done Yet?" co-producer Kevin Cornish is attached to executive produce the drama about a girl who is convinced she died in a car crash.

MTV is turning to Elizabeth Norris for its next scripted drama.

The youth-skewing network home to Awkward and Teen Wolf has optioned the author's debut novel Unraveling, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

The young-adult novel revolves around Janelle Tenner, who, after being hit by a car, is convinced she died and that her sexy and mysterious classmate Ben is responsible for her miraculous resuscitation. As she searches for answers, Janelle discovers that Ben might be linked to an ongoing FBI investigation that has catastrophic consequences.

Are We Done Yet? co-producer Kevin Cornish is attached to executive produce the drama based on Norris' book. Unraveling was published in April by HarperCollins' youth imprint Balzer + Bray -- the shingle behind Candace Bushnell's The Carrie Diaries. The CW's adaptation of the book series following a young Carrie Bradshaw will debut midseason on the network.

Should the project move to series, it would join a roster of original scripted entries including Teen Wolf and Awkward, which were renewed earlier this year for supersized third seasons.

Norris is repped by Fineprint Literary Management and Pouya Shahbazian. Cornish is with attorney Elsa Ramo.

The new judge on "America's Next Top Model" is a wanted man after allegedly beating the holy hell out of another person in Beverly Hills back in March -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

According to law enforcement sources, Rob Evans -- a former boxer -- is accused of beating the other guy up so bad, the victim ended up in the hospital with serious injuries.

We're told Rob's boxer past is part of the reason he's wanted for felony assault with a deadly weapon.

We're told the warrant was issued for Evans' arrest soon after the incident, but Evans cooperated with police from the get go -- so they didn't need to track him down. But that all changed in recent weeks, when cops say Evans suddenly went silent -- and stopped speaking to them.

We're told the Beverly Hills PD now views Evans as a fugitive -- and have dispatched a special fugitive team to track Evans down. Once found, he will be arrested on the spot.

Attempts to reach Evans were not successful.

Oprah's Dad, Files New Divorce Papers Detailing Bitter Fight

The drama over Oprah Winfrey's dad's divorce continues.

The New York Post reported Wednesday that Vernon Winfrey acknowledged that he cheated on his wife Barbara. He also admitted that he may have chased her with a gun in his hand during a fight “five or six months ago."

Vernon Winfrey filed for divorce, citing "inappropriate marital conduct," last summer. Now, Barbara — Oprah's stepmother since 2000 — is seeking support from Vernon and the right to continue living in their $1.5 million mansion. In the court papers, Vernon reportedly claimed that he makes only $282 a month as a barber and his bank account is overdrawn.

However, she alleged that he receives $25,000 every three months from a trust fund set up by Oprah.

This is not the first report of drama between the two. Last July, Oprah bought her father's barbershop after the property went into foreclosure. Barbara Winfrey, who wanted to take out a loan, said she was furious at the intervention. Vernon said he disagreed, and filed for divorce shortly afterwards.

Looks like the queen of England isn't the only one having a diamond jubilee these days.

Kim Kardashian was sporting an especially sparkly accessory while leaving a Christian Louboutin boutique in Miami Beach today—a huge gemstone ring.

Interestingly, Kanye West's main squeeze was snapped wearing the bauble on her right pinky finger. And we know that doesn't signify anything except a flair for endowing the littlest part of her hand with statement jewelry.

Though the rumor mill would love to differ, a source tells E! News that Kim and Kanye are not engaged.

Kim, who's now back to shooting Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, spent her 32nd birthday with her beau in Venice, part of a whirlwind trip to Italy that started in Rome and also touched down in Florence.

"What a romantic weekend! One I'll never forget," Kim blogged yesterday.

Maroon 5 Spend 'One More' Week Atop Hot 100

$

0
For a fifth week, Maroon 5's 'One More Night' and PSY's 'Gangnam Style' place at Nos. 1 and 2. Rihanna and Ne-Yo, meanwhile, enter the top 10

No matter how many laps they make, PSY just can't gallop past Maroon 5 in their weekly race to the Billboard Hot 100's winner's circle.

For a fifth week, the Korean rapper's "Gangnam Style," fueled by its viral video in which he horses around (literally) with his now-famous dance moves, ranks at No. 2, below Maroon 5's "One More Night," which spends a sixth overall week at No. 1. The songs are the first to place at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, for five consecutive weeks since Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" kept Maroon 5's previous single, "Payphone," featuring Wiz Khalifa, at No. 2 (where it peaked) for five frames in July/August.

The race for No. 1 was again fairly close, as approximately 2,000 points separate the songs, with each title declining by less than 1% in overall chart points. A similar gap separated the songs last week, while just 700 and 500 points made the difference two and three weeks ago, respectively.

"Night" widens its lead over "Style" in radio audience this week, as the former title logs a third week at No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart with a 3% increase to 135 million all-format audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS. "Style" gains by 1% to 64 million, holding at No. 12 on the ranking.

Despite its runner-up rank on the Hot 100, "Style" returns to No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart and rules On-Demand Songs for a third week. The track rebounds 2-1 for a second week atop Digital Songs (after three weeks between Nos. 2 and 4), registering a 1% decline to 229,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. ("Style" has sold 1.6 million to date.) It maintains its command on On-Demand Songs with 949,000 on-demand streams (down 3%), according to BDS.

"Night," meanwhile, drops 4-5 on Digital Songs (151,000, down 6%) and gains by less than 1% on On-Demand Songs (803,000), where it rises 3-2.

Below the race to the Hot 100's finish line, fun.'s "Some Nights" rebounds 4-3, returning to its peak to date in its 35th chart week. The title track from the group's second album (which crowns Adult Pop Songs this week) pushes 4-3 on Radio Songs (105 million, up less than 1%) and holds at No. 4 on On-Demand Songs and No. 6 on Digital Song

Ahead of her expected monster debut week, possibly with 1 million sold for "Red," next week on the Billboard 200, Taylor Swift lifts 5-4 on the Hot 100 with her former three-week No. 1 "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." "State of Grace," the fifth and final track that the country/pop star has released in advance of "Red," meanwhile, scores the Hot 100's top debut at No. 13 ( her favorite number, of course). The first four such songs, including "Never," reached the top 10. "Grace" starts on Digital Songs at No. 2 (209,000).

Ke$ha's "Die Young" bounds into the Hot 100's top five (8-5) in its fourth week, charging 5-3 on Digital Songs (156,000, up 13%), 27-17 on On-Demand Songs (525,000, up 20%) and 16-14 on Radio Songs (63 million, up 13%). The first single from "Warrior," due Dec. 4, also becomes her seventh top 10 on the mainstream top 40 radio-based Pop Songs chart, where it climbs 12-10.

Justin Bieber's "As Long as You Love Me," featuring Big Sean, holds at its No. 6 peak on the Hot 100, while Alex Clare's "Too Close" likewise stays at its highest rank so far (No. 7).

Two new titles infuse the Hot 100's top 10. Rihanna notches her 23rd top 10, as "Diamonds" shines 11-8 in its fourth week with top Airplay and Streaming Gainer honors, and Ne-Yo bounds 12-9 with "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)."

"Diamonds" darts 15-10 on Radio Songs (66 million, up 18%) to become her 19th top 10 on the survey, breaking a tie with Lil Wayne for the second-best sum in the list's 22-year history; only Mariah Carey (23) has more. "Diamonds" concurrently climbs 9-7 on Digital Songs (118,000, up 10%) and 35-19 on On-Demand Songs (516,000, up 39%).

Ne-Yo's "Let," his 11th Hot 100 top 10 and first as a lead artist since "Miss Independent" in 2008, lifts 8-7 on Radio Songs (84 million, up 7%) and 44-39 on On-Demand Songs (351,000, up 4%) and gains by 4% to 70,000 downloads sold, despite a 17-18 retreat on Digital Songs.

P!nk's former No. 5 hit "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" (9-10) rounds out the Hot 100's top 10.

Just outside the top tier, Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven" roars 33-15 with the Hot 100's top Digital Greatest Gainer nod. Following Mars' well-received double duties as host and musical guest on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" (Oct. 20), the lead single from his sophomore set, "Unorthodox Jukebox" (due Dec. 11), vaults 22-9 (106,000, up 99%) on Digital Songs.

Ex-Britney Spears confidante sobs over death threats

sam-lutfi-with-britney-spears

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The former confidante of pop star Britney Spears broke down on the witness stand on Wednesday, saying his villainous portrayal in a book written by the singer's mother triggered a deluge of death threats that drove him into a suicidal depression.

"If I went anywhere public, people were assaulting me," Sam Lutfi told jurors at a civil trial in Los Angeles.

"People I knew were shunning me. There were numerous postings online on websites ... that were threats to kill me. People wishing that I was dead," Lutfi said, choking up and beginning to cry. "People wishing harm on my family."

Lutfi, who emerged as Spears' closest friend during her 2007 personal and career meltdown, was testifying for the second day in his lawsuit against the "Toxic" superstar and her parents.

He is suing Britney's mother, Lynne Spears, alleging she libeled him in her 2008 book, "Through the Storm," and made him a scapegoat for the singer's problems.

He is also suing Britney Spears for a chunk of her earnings, claiming she hired him as her manager soon after meeting him in 2007. And he is suing her father, Jamie Spears, for assault.

Lutfi said on Wednesday that Spears' father chased him, punched him and threatened to kill him in her Los Angeles home in early 2008.

"(Jamie Spears) was spitting and shouting, yelling at me, telling me that I had hurt his daughter and I had better leave or he was going to beat the hell out of me," Lutfi testified.

STARK CONTRAST

The trial, which began last week, has offered a glimpse into Spears' private life during her highly publicized crisis five years ago, including a divorce, a bitter child custody battle, a head-shaving incident and claims of amphetamine abuse.

Lutfi's tearful testimony provided a stark contrast to his cross-examination, during which Spears family attorneys read details from four restraining orders filed against him since 2004 in which the family, and other associates of Lutfi, accused him of threatening and terrorizing them and their relatives.

Joel Boxer, attorney for Britney Spears' estate, asked Lutfi if, during the time he claimed he was Britney's manager, he set up or presented any entertainment industry deals for the singer. Lutfi said no.

Lutfi has said he met Britney Spears at a nightclub in 2007 and that she quickly hired him as her manager and promised him 15 percent of the $800,000-plus she earned each month.

Attorneys representing Spears say Lutfi was preying on the singer during a vulnerable period in her life.

Jurors on Wednesday watched video footage showing a distraught and angry Spears being hounded by paparazzi in 2007. In one clip, the Louisiana native shouted at photographers in a fake British accent. In another, she was seen sitting on the sidewalk, cradling her dog and crying as paparazzi snapped photographs and taunted her.

Spears, now 30, whose personal and business affairs are still overseen by a conservator, has since made a comeback, releasing several hit albums and landing a judging spot on TV talent show "The X-Factor."

She is not attending the trial and is not expected to testify.

Sarah Jessica Parker Excited To Perform Scissor Sisters’ Let’s Have A KiKi On Glee

Sarah Jessica Parker is taking on one of the year’s biggest alternative dance songs – the Scissor Sisters’ “Let’s Have a Kiki” with the help of “Glee’s” Lea Michele and Chris Colfer – and she’s loving every second of her time on the hit series.

The actress stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Thursday, which was taping in her beloved New York City, where she chatted about her stint on the FOX show and if fans will continue to see her on the small screen as Vogue.com editor, Isabelle Wright.

“I’m not sure, it’s just sort of one of those things… it’s like when Ryan is making a menu for dinner, some Sarah Jessica this week,” she said of showrunner Ryan Murphy’s cast selection process.

The actress – along with Kurt and Rachel – will perform a song in the upcoming holiday episode that was heard pumping in clubs everywhere in 2012.

“As long as the scheduling works out… it’s a wonderful way to spend time, I had so much fun in this episode, it’s our Thanksgiving episode,” she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. “We’re doing ‘Let’s Have A Kiki’… It’s really fun.

“It’s a delight to be there,” the actress added.

But, “Glee” wasn’t the only thing on SJP’s mind on Thursday morning. The ardent supporter of President Obama sounded off on Donald Trump’s Wednesday announcement and challenge for the President and voiced her concerns about former Gov. Mitt Romney possibly winning the election.

Plus, what does SJP think about Billy’s idea of only signing on for a third “Sex and The City” movie when she’s 75?

Meet Actress and 'Louie' Star Susan Kelechi Watson

Meet actress Susan Kelechi Watson, who recently played comedian Louis C.K.'s ex-wife on season 3 of the comedy-drama Louie.

ESSENCE.com: There's been a lot of buzz about your being cast as Louie's ex-wife, and mother of his two White children. Tell us about your run on the show.

SUSAN KELECHI WATSON: It's been really fun, and quite a surprise because going into it I didn't know much about the role. I just knew I was going in for the role of Janet. I'd seen the show before I auditioned so I knew the kids on the show. [Laughs] And they were White. So when I go into the audition I say, 'I don't know what part I'm auditioning for but I know it can't be his wife because I've seen his kids.' They were like, 'Okay, we're just gonna press record.' After I got the role I was still thinking it can't be to play his ex-wife, maybe his friend, but not the ex-wife. I just thought it was hilarious, and that Louis [C.K.] was kind of brilliant for casting it that way.

ESSENCE.com: The show has a cult following. What's been the reaction to your character?

WATSON: I think people have found it to be a lot like what Louis' been saying all along. If you follow the show you understand that there's no real continuity, and that Louis is a bit of a maverick in terms of not having any allegiance to doing something one way. People see it and go, 'What? This makes no sense.' And then they go, 'Oh, that's 'cause we're watching Louis.' And they take it with a grain of salt.

ESSENCE.com: The casting feels like 'a moment,' you say.

WATSON: I think it's remarkable because for so long we've been saying we just want to see each other as human beings. Our culture is very important, of course, but this feels like a moment where someone has said, 'Your culture is irrelevant at this moment. It's more about whether you feel like you're right for this role and what you're brining to it.

ESSENCE.com: What's been your experience as a Black actress working in Hollywood?

WATSON: I was in Los Angeles doing television, shows like NCIS, Medium and Private Practice. But then I returned to New York and started with another talent agency. Since then, I'm doing a lot more in television and theater. I trained in theater. I loved Los Angeles, but I've found New York to be successful for me. I don't know that I constantly think about being a Black woman. There's a ton of things we could say about how many opportunities are there, and the quality of opportunities out there. I tend to veer on the side of saying that we also have the opportunity to contribute. This is an age where you could put anything on Youtube, people can make films on their own.

What's next: Watson stars on the upcoming CBS drama Golden Boy, and stars in the indie film, Small, Beautifully Moving Parts. She is also working on a new reprisal of A Raisin in the Sun, directed by Phylicia Rashad.

Justin Timberlake-Jessica Biel Wedding Controversy: Lawyers Scramble to Shut Down Offensive Video

Celebrating your nuptials in a resort in Southern Italy is pretty cool. Making fun of the poor and downtrodden...not so much.

A lawyer for Justin Huchel, Justin Timberlake's real-estate pal who made an eight-minute "gag" video featuring homeless people that was shown at the former 'N Syncer's posh wedding to Jessica Biel, is threatening legal action after Gawker posted a 20-second clip online Wednesday, prompting outrage among the newlyweds' fans.

Huchel's attorney, Michael J. Saltz, has sent a cease-and-desist letter to the website threatening it with a lawsuit unless Gawker took down what he said is "a protected copyright work" and destroyed all copies it has in its possession.

"Mr. Huchel made a video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake's wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake's knowledge," wrote Saltz. "Further, Mr. Huchel informs us that his copyrighted video was recently stolen."

There was no immediate comment from reps for Timberlake or Biel. As of this morning, Gawker had initially refused to comply with the take-down request but later removed after a second letter.

The clip opens with a title card that reads, "Greetings from your Hollywood friends who just couldn't make it." It's followed by Huchel interviewing 10 random people on the streets, all apparently homeless, who send best wishes to Timberlake and Biel.

"Justin and Jessica, I haven't seen you for a long time. I hope the wedding goes fine for you. My gift is in the mail," says one toothless man.

"Good luck and watch your man," offers another, who's apparently either a transvestite or transgender.

Huchel then suggests to a man named Robert that he "go skins" and leave his shirt off while offering congratulations. After the man does so, the video concludes with another card saying, "Love Huch and Rachel."

According to Gawker, Huchel intended for the clip to poke fun at the outrageous expense the Hollywood couple went to for their extravagant ceremony. But once it hit the Internet, many Timberlake and Biel devotees took to Twitter to denounce the video as being in poor taste and exploiting the homeless.

"Not funny some of them were probably war vets. I hope they at least paid them," wrote one commenter on YouTube.

Added J.T. follower StephBreezy678: "It's official I am no longer a @timberlake fan!! Unfollowing you right now! Mocking the homeless is wrong! #Pissed."

Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina has a serious drinking problem ... so say family members and close friends who tell TMZ it's gotten even worse since she finished taping her reality show ... and they fear she could die unless she does something about it.

We broke the story ... many people close to B.K. feel she has allowed some of Whitney's enablers to get heavily involved in her life ... and if Bobbi doesn't cut them out soon, she's doomed to the same fate as her mom.

Those people -- sources say -- include various individuals who knew about Whitney's problems, but didn't take action when the singer's life was spiraling out of control.

Bobbi's problems were highlighted during the premiere episode of her Lifetime series, "The Houstons: On Our Own" ... which featured 19-year-old Bobbi slamming wine and slurring. The episode was taped a few months ago ... and our sources say the boozing has only gotten worse since the show wrapped.

During a tease for an upcoming episode, an emotional Pat Houston suggests taking Bobbi to California ... where Whitney received treatment from a drug counselor before she died.

Sources close to B.K. tell us ... they DON'T WANT Bobbi to see the same counselor, because they feel he did not help Whitney ... and will fail again with Bobbi.
