Gaga talked with Zane Lowe about the surprise music video she first released to Apple Music yesterday:

"I have known Jonas [Akerlund] for a really long time and we've been wanting to work together again. For this song I thought he and I would just be perfect to do this together. He directed the music video, but the way we usually start when we work is he likes to download from me all my visions about the song. I'll tell him 'I envision me on the back of a horse with a guy and I'm about to fall off and no matter how fast he goes and how much it hurts I keep hanging on and I look like I'm enjoying it, or, you know, a scene with me and a guy in a car and we're getting too reckless and we show how reckless love can be.' I took him through a whole bunch of different scenarios like that and he helps to weave it together into a story and a video."

This is the first Gaga video to be directed by an ACTUAL video director in 7 years (smh)

Speaking at the MAKERS Conference in California this week, actress Debra Messing recalled being harassed and insulted by director Alfonso Arau on the set of her very first film, 1995's A Walk In The Clouds.

"I'd never been on a film before. I was doing a love scene with Keanu Reeves. We started filming and the very famous director screamed 'Cut' and said, 'How quickly can we get a plastic surgeon in here? Her nose is ruining my movie.'"

"It was a shock. I was so confident coming out of graduate school with my Masters in acting. I'd studied in London and I was so well equipped with skill sets, and then to walk on set and have that happen - I was reduced to an un-Hollywood nose."

She went on to describe to the audience how Arau bullied her into doing an unplanned nude scene that was not in her contract, then lifted the sheet covering her to take a good look: "He dropped the sheet on top of me like a used Kleenex, then walked away without a word."

The nudity wasn't even used in the final cut. "It turns out, after all this trauma, the only part of my body that's seen naked in the film is my back." She said she believed Arau did it as "a power play" that would "demean me, strip me of my pride, my power."

Nine years later - after the sitcom Will and Grace had made her a mainstream success —Messing ran into Arau in the street. "He said, 'Bella! It's been so long, you were so funny in the movie, I'm so happy to see you again!' I said, 'Thank you,' and I turned around and never looked back."

A source told Us Weekly that the relationship between Drake and JLo has "died down a bit" and that they've split "for now."

Another source told E! that they've "taken some time apart, not because they don't want to be with each other, just because their schedules started getting insane."

John Carpenter announced today that Danny McBride (Pineapple Express, Eastbound & Down) and David Gordon Green (director of Pineapple Express) will be writing the new Halloween movie with Green also directing. The tentative release date is October 19, 2018. John said he was blown away by their pitch and that they get it. He also mentioned the possibility of scoring the film.

- Coolio visited some bar-and-grill in North Texas several days ago and got interviewed by some random guy. In it, he reveals that he made his brief appearance in the iconic 1997 Batman & Robin because director Joel Schumacher promised to cast him as Scarecrow in the franchises next installment. But because the film flopped, Schumacher was fired and the franchise was put on hold until Christopher Nolan came along. Coolio mentions that he and Joel didn't get along anyway.

- Schumacher, though, has a different story, and stated back in 2015 that he courted Nic Cage for the part. Cage signed on for Superman Lives instead.

- Batman 5 (titled Batman Unchained) would see Scarecrow and Harley Quinn team-up to drive Batman insane. The films big moment would see Batman confront Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Two Face, and Riddler in a hallucination sequence.
