Muslim Ban: Thinks the travel ban is discriminatory, un-American, and goes against America's values
His Political Rap Music: Doesn't rap with the intent of being political, he's speaking about his own personal experiences (i.e. extra TSA checks at airports). Thinks people consider it political because it's a perspective they're not used to.
Celebrities and Politics: Thinks that individuals who have a platform in these instances have a moral responsibility to speak up. Also, America essentially elected a celebrity as President, so why can't celebrities comment on politics?
Diversity in Hollywood: Thinks it's about investing in new voices and stories which will help to break down barriers between different groups of people. Thinks that people are starting to see that these risks can pay off in film and television.

Scarlett Johansson feels her role in 'Ghost In The Shell' was about feminism over race

In a recent interview, Scarlett Johansson talks about the controversy surrounding her casting as Major Motoko Kusanagi in 'Ghost In The Shell,' saying that she approached the role with a focus on gender and not race. Scarlett says that she "would never presume to play another race of a person" and that she would never want to feel like she was playing a character that was offensive. She goes on, saying that "having a franchise with a female protagonist driving it is such a rare opportunity" and she can feel the enormous pressure of the weight of such a big property on her shoulders. Scarlett says that even though she's the top-grossing actress of all time, that doesn't necessarily mean that she's the highest paid, and that the gender wage gap is an uphill battle and fight.

-Gone is the old blue theme they used to sport
-They also will be phasing out "By Bravo" tagline that they've used for so long. It will be used very sparingly going foward
-They last redesigned 7 years ago and thought it was time to change things up again (by using a design that was apparently made up 10 years ago when looking at a leaked design sheet)








-It is not yet known if Bravo is bringing her back as a friend of (Tre's) or as a full time HW
-She and Theresa made up last year
-She and Jacqueline are still bitter enemies





-Lydia was last seen in Season 8, where she decided to quit after 1 season since the show just wasnt for her.
-Meghan King Edmonds is also following Heather Dubrows lead and quitting the show

-Dwayne Johnson's film "Fighting With My Family" is based on WWE superstar Paige, the movie is about "the story of a family of wrestlers, with their dreams seeming to come true when the son and daughter (played by Jack Lowden and Florence Pugh) get a chance to compete in the WWE".

-Lena will play the film's matriarch as "brilliant/badass"

To which Maxwell replied (via DM), "Check the numbers bitch."

I definitely like that the series went the extra mile of finding the right actress with the same heritage and physicality of the role. I do agree with some fans that on the subject of Chrisjen, that perhaps they could have found a proper Indian actress to portray her. I feel like the third point above reflects their decision in this (sidenote : having followed the authors' twitter accounts, they both were fans of the game Destiny in which Shohreh voices a character and I wonder if this also played a part in them wanting her for the role). Anyway, thoughts on the ep? How are you all enjoying the season so far? =)
