- Part 2 continues to trails behind Part 1 but is still doing huge business, with an expected worldwide tally of $440 million by the end of the week-end.

In early November Shah Rukh Khan caused controversy amoung idiots with his comments on what he calles India's growing intolerance "We have made a huge thing about our meat-eating habits. How can the food habits of people be an issue?" Khan told the NDTV news channel.

"It is stupid… It is stupid to be intolerant and this is our biggest issue, not just an issue… Religious intolerance and not being secular in this country is the worst kind of crime that you can do as a patriot."

He was referring to the lynching of a 50-year-old farmer in October because of rumors he and his family ate beef.
That and the gunning down of Dr MM Kalburgi a leading Indian scholar and a well-known rationalist thinker, has provoked debates over what some say is a growing trend of violence against minorities in India.

The actor Aamir Khan also provoked backlash when he stated he also feels that the sense of insecurity and fear has been growing, and has even considered moving out of India. “When I chat with Kiran at home, she says ‘Should we move out of India?’ That’s a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day."

(Both Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan are muslims, a religious minority in India and have faced discrimination because of it)

Priyanka Chopra recently came to their defence, saying in a recent interview "It is not just about this. I think everyone has an opinion about it. We are supposed to be the greatest democracy in the world.""There have been many incidents that have happened in the last few years where people have been bashed for giving their opinions. Everybody has an opinion. We are in a democracy. Our forefathers fought for freedom of speech and being Indian," the actress said in an interview.

Critically-acclaimed actress and filmmaker Nandita Das says curbs on freedom of expression are taking on freedom of expression are taking a "dangerous" turn. "I don't think freedom of expression has ever been so threatened. It is something which is dangerous and the only way to counter it is to not be fearful. It is time to speak up and when there are more of us speaking up then nobody is isolated." Nandita told IANS on the sidelines of Film Bazaar.

There is only so much any woman can be expected to bear. What was done to me this week was appalling cruelty. By my husband, my family, by St Pats and by An Gardai Siochana, by my son, Jake and by Donal Lunny and Angela singleton, by my son's girlfriend, his friends... after everything I've been put through and been forced to go through alone .. And punished for having to go through since I had the surgery on August 26th. Or since Shane became unwell in March, This week has broken me. The withholding of my babies from me without any sound reason by their fathers, Frank and Donal, and by Jake and the rest of my family, is a horrific set of betrayals. And has been going on since I had my surgery. The last two nights finished me off. I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in ireland, under another name
If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out. Was dead for another fortnight since none of them bother their hole with me for a minute. I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known. Because apparently I'm scum and deserve to be abandoned and treated like shit just when I've had my womb and ovaries chopped out and my child is frighteningly sick. I'm such a rotten horrible mother and Person, that I've been alone. Howling crying for weeks. And been told by them all t go fuck myself. I'm invisible. I don't matter a shred to anyone. No one has come near me. I've died a million times already with the pain of it. So yeah.. Strangers like me.. But my family don't value me at all. They wouldn't know if I was dead until weeks from now if I wasn't fucking informing them now.

ONTD Original: Best Recent Songs From Animated Shows

Inspired by fauxparadiso's post on the best songs from non-disney animated films I decided to make a post about the best songs so far from recent animated shows, basically 2010 onwards (if I covered the whole span of animated shows we would be here all day and no anime songs either because lbr this list would only be anime songs then). So let's get started:

1) Stronger Than You- Estelle(Steven Universe)


Ok we all know it would be a crime if I didn't include this song on the list so let's start with this one first. Ever since Steven Universe casted Estelle as Garnet fans have been waiting for her to sing at least one song on the show. It wasn't until the first season finale that we got the song Stronger Than You and it was well worth the wait. The song came after Garnet's secret was revealed and it still continues to be a non-stop bop. When the episode was released the song became a viral hit, convincing many people to start watching the show.

2) Remember You- Olivia Olson & Tom Kenny(Adventure Time)


There are so many good Marceline songs from Adventure Time it was hard to choose which one. It came down to Daddy Why Did You Eat My Fries?, Remember You, or Everything Stays but out of those three Remember You was the one that personally stuck with me the most. This is yet another song created by Rebecca Sugar (she wrote Stronger Than You), and was able to perfectly convey the strained relationship between Marceline and Ice King. Thanks to this song (and the episode in general) it started one of my personal favorite storylines from Adventure Time especially since Adventure Time has been in a downward decline.

3) I Have Time- Dia Frampton(We Bare Bears) the song starts @2:00


Here is another sappy one! We Bare Bears is a show that just started out but it already manages to punch you in the gut early on. This was sung by Dia Frampton from the sister duo Meg & Dia. The episode starts out with a bear being obsessed with a giant burrito but by the end of the episode you find yourself crying with a box of tissues. Then you realized you are getting sad over a burrito of all things, fuck this show.

4) Get Schwifty- Justin Roiland(Rick and Morty)



This song saved us from world annihilation and helped us win a intergalactic music reality show, it has earned it's spot on this list. Enough said.

5) Over The Garden Wall- Jack Jones(Over The Garden Wall)



This nice jazz melody that perfectly embodies the show and it's overall aesthetic. This was sung by two time grammy award winning jazz singer Jack Jones who plays Greg's pet frog Jason Funderburker. If you haven't watch this show yet, please do.

6) Electric Love - Bob's Burgers Cast(Bob's Burgers)



I shamelessy forgot Bob's Burgers, but out of all the songs this one is my favorite because it exposes the ass that is Thomas Edison.

Tori Lux accuses James Deen of sexual assault

More women are speaking up after Stoya tweeted that James Deen raped her, and a previous ex-girlfriend Joanna Angel said he is "dead inside."

Her statement is under the cut:

My name is Tori Lux, and I’m a former adult performer. In June of 2011, while shooting at a major porn studio, I was assaulted by James Deen.

While James wasn’t performing with me that day, he was present on set, and almost immediately after I’d finished my scene James began to antagonize me. I hadn’t even had time to dress myself when he began to ask, with a smirk on his face, “Tori Lux, would you like to sniff my testicles?” “Nope,” I replied in a neutral tone. “I’ll repeat myself - Tori Lux, would you like to sniff my testicles?” he asked, more aggressively this time. I replied with a firm “No,” in order to establish my boundary, which James then disregarded by grabbing me by the throat and shoving me down onto a mattress on the floor.

He then straddled my chest, pinning down my arms with his knees and raised his hand above his head, swinging it down and hitting me in the face and head with an open palm. He did this 5 or 6 times, hard, and finally got off of me. I stood up, disoriented, my jaw sore, and before I could collect myself, he grabbed me by my hair and shoved me to my knees, forcing my face into his crotch several times before shoving me to the floor. I was completely stunned, having no idea how to react. I felt pressured to maintain a professional demeanor, this being a major porn set, with other people present and failing to intervene.

A few people who I’ve shared this story with over the years have asked me why I didn’t call the police as soon as it happened, or publicly speak up about it soon thereafter.

The reason for that is because, historically, people (including the police) tend to operate from the assumption that sex workers have put themselves in harm’s way, and therefore can’t be assaulted - which is incorrect, as being involved in sex work does not equate being harmed.

Despite porn being a legal form of sex work, and this occurring in a controlled environment such as a porn set, that mindset is still inherent in much of society, and in turn sex workers are silenced and our negative experiences are swept under the rug in simply trying to protect ourselves from judgement of others, or worse, a variety of problems ranging from further physical attacks to professional problems such as slander and blacklisting. To put it simply, I was afraid.

We are forced to smile and pretend we’re always in control and in love with our jobs, when in reality, there’s a multitude of experiences one can have on any given day, good, bad, and neutral, just like every other job. It’s not black and white, like people like to assume. My goal in writing this is not to paint the industry as a whole as oppressive or dangerous, but to shed some light on one fucked-up personal experience of mine, in which James Deen ruthlessly attacked and degraded me, leaving me with mental wounds that took years to heal.

I hope to encourage you, the reader, to open your mind to the bigger picture regarding stigma and safety within the sex industry. Being silenced is what keeps sex workers in danger, and the stigma is what keeps sex workers silent when they’re attacked. It’s a vicious cycle, and I hope we can work together toward humanizing one another and preventing instances like this from continuing to happen.

UPDATE: Actress Ashley Fires has come forward saying Deen assaulted her as well.

“The reason I put him on my ‘no list’ was because he almost raped me. The only time I’d ever seen this guy, he walked into the green room at Kink [studios], picks up Jessie Cox like a caveman, grabs her by the hair, and takes her off somewhere… and I can only imagine.”

“Later on that night, I was getting out of the shower of the communal bathroom at Kink, I reach for my towel to dry off, and he comes up from behind me and pushes himself and his erection into my butt. He pushes me against the sink and starts grabbing on me and I was like, ‘No, no, no James, no,’ and he released me from his grasp, and says, ‘You know, later if you want to fuck around I’m in room whatever-it-was. I was like, ‘Fuck you.’ I didn’t even know this guy, he was so out of line and entitled with my body.”

He also approached her later and told her to stop telling people.
