The Voice UK 2016
Apparently Tom Jones was only told the day before that he wasn't coming back and he is not happy about it. He took to Facebook to share his feelings with the world:
"About The Voice UK: In good faith, as part of the team, I'd put the time in my schedule to be involved in Series 5, as I've done so for the last 4 years. I've supported the show and the BBC since the beginning.
"I was told yesterday, with no consultation or conversation of any kind, that I would not be returning. Having been through plenty of transformations throughout the years, I support and admire creative change. But being informed, as a matter of duty and respect, is an important part of creative relationships.
"This sub-standard behaviour from the executives is very disappointing. I will always admire the courage of the performers who participate in the show, as well as all the production staff who worked tirelessly to make a great family viewing experience for the audience at home. I wish the show well."
The BBC are "truly sorry" he feels that way, but say that "no role was ever promised to [him]" and follow judge Ricky Wilson promises that there is "never a dull moment with [Boy George]". So there's that.
In response, Boy George claims to be a "huge fan" both of Tom and the show, conveniently forgetting about that time he branded the show "pointless" on Twitter. Whatever, I'm going to watch just to see if he asks people to vote for him in that stupid DJ competition thing he's always going on about.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell seems to have had his hand in both sides of the female switcheroo, as he claims Paloma Faith called him to ask his thoughts and he told her it would be "perfect for [her]".

IDK, I'm new at this whole 'summarise in your own words thing' - too much, too little, too boring?
