jaime king explains why she chose tswift as the godmother of her child

0
0

"I always knew she was going to be the godmother if I had another baby. It’s because she’s incredibly thoughtful. Choosing a godmother is a very sacred and important thing in our family. They’re going to be guiding your child, and they’re responsible for them if something was to ever happen.
We try and choose people who we know would raise our child the way that we would raise our child and her thoughtfulness, her kindness, her authenticity—the way that she’s generous with her family, with her friends, with her fans—is so powerful to me."
-tldr, she's rich as fuck

Shots from "Danish Girl" filming

"Danish Girl" is currently filming in Copenhagen. Over 10 locations will be used, with some doubling as Paris (where Lili Elbe spent part of her life).

In the true story, Einar is persuaded by his wife Gerda Wegener, a Danish illustrator, to pose for her in women’s clothes after one of her models failed to show.

I just graduated from vet school! \o/ Has anyone else read the book? Been DYING to discuss it with someone. There are a bunch of scenes in it that I doubt will make it in the movie yet they're what impacted me the most. There's also some content that I'm iffy about because they imply stuff about Lili's gender identity that I don't necessarily agree with because I don't think certain details were true irl even though they play big parts in the fictional version...

Going brunch after her friend's wedding:

Lady Gaga proudly embraces pal Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish as they're honoured at glamorous AIDS fundraiser
And the 28-year-old singer was proudly on hand to support her pals when they were honoured for their efforts in the theatre world at the 13th annual Backstage at the Geffen fundraiser on Saturday.

This is one of two times in the last week or so that Lady GaGa has performed You & I, almost as though she's pretending everything from Marry the Night - ARTPOP never happened. You can view clips of her performances here and here. They are from Elton's Fundraiser and from the wedding she recently attended.

Natalie Dormer for SELF Magazine April 2015

on being typecast:
"It got to the point where if there was a manipulative femme fatale who was going to be seducing the leading me, it was "Call Natalie Dormer!". Every actor, wherever they are on the hierarchy, gets put in a box to a certain extent. And isn't it wonderful when people like Matthew McConaughey can turn around and go: "You thought I was this, but look what I can do!" You have to start challenging people's perceptions of you, and the perceptions you have of yourself, really."

on prepping for the April 2014 London marathon:
“I actually look back on it now and think, F—ing hell, how did I do that?”

on juicing:
“When you have early calls, you don’t necessarily want to eat first thing in the morning,” she says. “But you have such long days that if you don’t, you really fall down from it. So, juicing before and eating later is, for me, a good nutritional compromise.”

on being fit:
“People might not realize that going on stage for eight shows a week is a very physically labor-intensive exercise. You have to be fit. I’ve always been a jogger and done yoga, and I like to swim as well.”

on shooting schedule of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1 and Part 2:
“My way of surviving it was a nap at lunch. In Mockingjay—Part 2, I’m basically running around in heavy armor while carrying a semiautomatic rifle. I don’t know how I would have kept up with [costars] Liam Hemsworth or Sam Claflin if I hadn’t been in the best cardiovascular shape of my life.”

Rumor: Britney to join Viva Glam campaign by MAC cosmetics + Offered TV Role on twitter

0
0

According to rumors Britney Spears could be the next face of MAC cosmetics joining the ranks of Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus by fronting the company's Viva Glam campaign to fight AIDS. Allegedly negotiations are in the final stages that could see the Pop icon expand her already established beauty empire consisting of a highly successful fragrance line that has grossed a billion dollars to date, a haircare line and lingerie line.

Not known for her makeup prowess this could be an interesting choice if Spears' team ponied up the money to hire a more competent beauty team of professionals to handle her Vegas and red carpet appearances.

The producer of which show offered her a guest starring role on twitter?

A fan of the show the Fosters innocently tweeted the Executive producer & Creator of the show to ask him to have Britney Spears guest star on the show. Surprisingly enough the producer responded and extended the invitation directly to Ms. Spears.

The Fosters is a one hour drama about a family made up of a mix of foster and biological kids being raised by two moms. Spears has yet to respond to the tweet as she has been m.i.a. on twitter.

um Can we get Lee Daniels or somebody to offer her a role on Empire instead?

Gay country star Steve Grand speaks up for transgender rights as new album drops

0
0

In an interview with The Daily Beast, country music's first openly gay star Steve Grand talks about his just-released album, Lady Gaga and the need for gay people to offer support to the transgender community.

Says Grand:

"...we can’t forget about the T in LGBT. I think now it’s our trans brothers and sisters that we really need to allow to take the lead. We need to listen to them and support them the way they have supported us all these years. I feel like they’ve put their needs, they’ve taken a backseat, to really help marriage equality come through and help people accept gay people better but that doesn’t necessarily help trans people. I think we need to be there to support them now. There’s a lot of issues that community faces that gay and lesbian people don’t have to face. There’s issues of what bathrooms they can go to and there’s blatant discrimination against them and even the way society thinks of gender is problematic for the way they see themselves and want to be seen by society. We have a long way to go. We’re really just beginning now so we really need to allow trans people to take the lead."

Grand, who catapulted to fame with the video for his 2013 country-inspired track “All-American Boy,” funded the album All-American Boy with a Kickstarter campaign that became the third most funded of all time with almost 5000 backers and $326,593 pledged.

The video for “All-American Boy” told the story of Grand’s character falling for and kissing his straight friend.

Zayn Malik has decided to leave One Direction

After five incredible years Zayn Malik has decided to leave One
Direction. Niall, Harry, Liam and Louis will continue as a four-piece and look forward to the forthcoming concerts of their world tour and
recording their fifth album, due to be released later this year.

Zayn says: "My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world."

One Direction say: "We're really sad to see Zayn go, but we totally
respect his decision and send him all our love for the future. The past five years have been beyond amazing, we've gone through so much together, so we will always be friends. The four of us will now continue. We're looking forward to recording the new album and seeing all the fans on the next stage of the world tour."

Simon Cowell says: "I would like to say thank you to Zayn for everything he has done for One Direction. Since I first met Zayn in 2010, I have grown very, very fond - and immensely proud - of him. I have seen him grow in confidence and I am truly sorry to see him leave. As for One Direction, fans can rest assured that Niall, Liam, Harry and Louis are hugely excited about the future of the band."

Jamie Dornan: "It does no harm to be in a film that makes half a billion dollars"

0

Jamie Dornan arrived in LA last night from London, to do some promo for the launch of the Fifty Shades Of Grey DVD.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Jamie opened up about not being unaware of the 50SOG critics.
"You know, I’m not naive as to why people would think it was a bad [career] choice, or why there is a snobbery about it. But I’m also not stupid, and I knew with [director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson], and [cinematographer] Seamus McGarvey, the film would be in safe hands. And, you know, it does no harm to be in a film that makes half a billion dollars."
