Ageless Beauty, Gabrielle Union on Conan

Gabrielle Union Pictures, Images and Photos

Gabrielle Union stopped by Conan O’Brien’s late night talk show last night to talk about her upcoming film Think Like A Man, and during her appearance, Gabby dropped some interesting tidbits about her life with NBA baller Dwyane Wade. When Conan asked Gabby if she acts like a demure, supportive girlfriend while her beau battles on the hardwood, she let it be known that she goes hard for (and sometimes against) her man, often heckling other plays and referees alike.Although the pair is totally in love and have been together for a few years, Gabby and D-Wade are nearly 10 years apart in age, and according to Union, he doesn’t always get her pop culture references. When the couple was invited to an ’80s party last year, Gabby said she found out that D-Wade had no clue about some of her most important 80s influences like John Hughes films and the group Bananarama.

Oh Lindsay Lohan!

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have officially received the surveillance video from The Standard Hotel in West Hollywood from the night that a woman claims Lindsay Lohan assaulted her, and the video clearly shows Lohan at the club, despite her claims that she was at home watching television, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As previously reported, Lindsay is being investigated for allegedly assaulting Marisa Dugas almost two weeks ago. The actress vehemently denied being out that night, claiming she was at home watching television when the incident allegedly occurred, even though three people – including the accuser — have now filed police reports.

"Investigators obtained the surveillance video from the Smoke & Mirrors nightclub at The Standard Hotel and it clearly shows that Lindsay was there on the night of the alleged assault," a law enforcement source tells RadarOnline.com. "The investigation is still ongoing and follow-up interviews will now be conducted as necessary. Of course, investigators want to interview Lindsay about the incident, but she hasn't been interviewed yet, nor is she under any obligation to do so. Remember, two other witnesses besides the alleged victim filed police reports, including the bouncer of the nightclub."

When contacted for comment, Lohan's rep initially denied his client was at the hotel and told RadarOnline.com, "Whomever is responsible for this lie will be held accountable for their misguided actions." However, he is now saying, "We're going to wait for the Sheriff's Department to release their findings before we comment any further."

Just three weeks ago, Lohan, 25, was taken off of formal probation by Judge Stephanie Sautner, after successfully completing community service at the morgue. However, the actress remains on informal probation for the next two and a half years for her no contest plea in the misdemeanor necklace theft case.

Lohan reportedly went back to the scene of the alleged crime on Wednesday night, and had a drink thrown on her by another woman sitting in a nearby booth after being embroiled in a verbal altercation. The embattled actress is supposed to begin filming the Liz Taylor biopic for Lifetime Television soon, but as RadarOnline.com previously reported, she still hasn't signed the contract yet.

Lindsay's rep had no comment on this story.

Hunter Moore closes IsAnyoneUp.com

$

It’s been a little over a year from the first post on Is Anyone Up and its crazy to think that the few posts I did with my friends to get back at a few girls that broke our hearts would turn into what it did. I started the site with zero dollars, I had -$120 in my bank account and had to ask my mom for her credit card to pay for the $9 Server bill.

Running this site has been an uphill battle to say the least.  From the Server Company's bills to the lawyers taking people’s money promising they could get your images down to Facebook, PayPal, Live Nation, A Day to Remember and the countless others who tried to shut me down, beat me up or the girl who stabbed me and yet we are still here.

The site was started for the scene and I tried to keep it that way as long as I could by supporting bands and giving them reasonable prices on ad space. The bills were getting too insane and I had to turn to the porn game for extra money but it’s too shady and, in my opinion, it ruined the site.  That and my appearance on Anderson Cooper didn’t help.  The site was a blessing for me and still is, but I am burned out and I honestly can’t take another underage kid getting submitted and having to go through the process of reporting it and dealing with all the legal drama of that situation.

To everyone who got a tattoo, bought a shirt, wrote on your body, self-submitted or came to a party, I truly thank you for the support.  Without your support, the site would not have been what it was.  To all the girls who submitted those band guy's and too all the guys who submitted the groupies, you made the Internet fun again. We Got #NBHNC trending on twitter, bands to make music videos about us and a lifetime ban for me on Facebook.   Since we launched Isanyoneup.com a year ago, we received over 500 million page views.  Girls got naked of all sizes at the IAU parties; we did it from Canada to Vegas. You made it possible for me to have the best life and made me realize what people will do for a few extra friend requests & followers on twitter.  I’ll miss a lot of things but mostly the community. I never got to take in everything while it was happening because it was going so fast even though there was drama and lots of tears and pissed off parents, I feel blessed and thankful for all of you who came here to support me.  I’ve become friends with the founder of BullyVille, CupidVille, CheaterVille and KarmaVille and he helped me realize that my talents in the programming and social networking world could be channeled in a positive way and we spoke about ways to move on, which is ultimately what I’ve decided to do.  I might do some writing on bullyville.com to help people who have been bullied; I’ve been on both sides of the fence. I am putting this message up on Bullyville.com to stand up for underage bullying. I think it’s important that everyone realizes the damage that online bullying can cause. I would love to write everything here but I can’t. I’ll miss you all but once you're on page 2 nobody cares anymore...."

I also have a new project at www.wepartyforacause.net. This will be all about me organizing parties that benefit different charities. These will be some of the largest and craziest parties you will ever see with a percentage of earnings going to a range of causes.

The Moms From Toddlers & Tiaras Are Just Trolling Us Now, Right?

$

After seeing what went down on last night’s episode of Toddlers & Tiaras, I’m starting to think that all these crazy pageant moms are just trolling us. That they know exactly what they’re doing on the show and they’re using their time in front of the camera to maximize their media exposure.

If they can sound just crazy enough and they can make their child just likable enough, they too could have their very ownHoney Boo Boo Child or Eden Woods.

Otherwise there’s no good explanation for why Tricia modeled a g-string for her 2-year-old daughter SamiJo. Sure, we know what she told us:

My style of parenting is extremely different. I think exposing your child to whatever you can is just a really great way to be culturally diverse.”

She insists her toddler is “far from two,” because she says “she’s 17″

“She has a vast understanding that some seven-year-olds, six-year-olds don’t have,” she adds.

Tricia insists the modeling of the G-string was completely normal, explaining that SamiJo is “obsessed with bras” and “loves Victoria’s Secret,” so the mother entered her daughter into a swimsuit competition!

But I think we also know that all of those quotes are absolutley insane things to say. Hence, why I’m starting to get convinced that these moms are all trolling us. No two-year-old is obsessed with Victoria’s Secret. It’s just nonsensical.

Almost as nonsensical as this mother who looked into the camera last night and said “You better watch out — I’m gonna stab you in the chest. I’m not gonna stab you in the back.”

WHAT!? Why would you say that and why would you say that to the camera. If she’s really going to stab this person, she’s going to have no alibi now. So stupid.

We’re at the point now with these moms that they will say and do anything to get more camera time. If g-string dancing in front of a toddler flies on prime time TV, then I guess can really happen.

Bring on the moms who give their kids cocaine to keep them alert on stage!

Alanis Morissette to release new album in June! Possibly working with Guy Sigsworth again...

Rolling Stone Magazine
reports that singer-songwriter, record producer and occasional actress Alanis Morissette will release a new album this summer, June 2012, her first in nearly four years.  The new album's title has yet to be determined. Some of the songs that have been confirmed are:

* SPIRAL
* GUARDIAN
* HAVOC
* CELEBRITY

From Rolling Stone Magazine:

Morissette wrote her new collection at home while caring for her newborn son. Nearly every tune has a monster chorus - from the ballad "Havoc" to "Celebrity," a scathing take down of America's obsession with fame: "I am a tattooed sexy dancing monkey," Morissette sings. "Yes, it was inspired by specific people," she says. "But I'll never talk about that, 'cause it's just rude."

Is Alanis collaborating with producer Guy Sigsworth again? The pair worked on Morissette's seventh studio album, Flavors of Entanglement, which was released in 2008. While not officially confirmed, Sigsworth seems to be hinting that he's recording with the seven-time Grammy winner. He recently took to twitter to answer questions from fans:

"Cœur de Pirate, the girl-woman" : Soon after the release of her second album, Blonde, Béatrice Martin (aka Cœur de Pirate) tells us that she's going to be a mom very soon.

We know that for a while you stopped playing the piano. What made you want to play it again?

When it stopped being an obligation. My parents made me learn how to play the piano, when I really didn't want to! My head was always in the clouds, but when I played it, I had to concentrate. So eventually it became a chore, like going to school. So I lost the desire to play it. But after a while the desire to play came back because it was no longer forced on me. This helped me to deal with a lot of my emotions.

And are you still distracted?

Yes! Luckily, I can sing and play the piano at the same time. But apart from that, I'm incapable of doing two things at once!

Do you have a piano that you take with you everywhere you travel?

No, but at home I've got my parents'. They wanted to sell it, but I said "No! I'll find a apartment big enough to fit it in". The piano is 150 years old, and it's huge. When I'm on a tour though I take with me my keyboards.

You often say that you've got too much on your shoulders. When you were on the talk show "Tout le monde en parle" last November, even Michèle Richard adviced you to take a load off...

Ah! Michèle! That's what we call a generational clash! [laughs] We lived some beautiful moments of televsion!

A great moment of television, yes! [laughs] So does that mean that sometimes you impose too much on yourself?

Sometimes, yeah, but I tell myself that I didn't have much of a choice. There's a lot of people to meet and a lot of things to do. I can't afford to take a week off! After all, there's people that have been waiting for months to see me in concert.

The title of your last album, Blonde, refers to your relation with your public, too. Is it similar to that of a couple, sometimes wonderful, sometimes complicated? (OP's note: "blonde" in QC French means both "blonde" woman and "girlfriend" [even if the gf is not actually blonde])

Yes, it can be difficult just like it can be wonderful. It's a relationship filled with concessions and moments of happiness. Especially when I see my fans after a concert, or when I come across them on the street and they say I've changed their lives. It's a lot... but it gives me a lot of pleasure!

Do you find it difficult to open up in your songs or in interviews?

Actually, I think it's important for me to talk about my creative process. People should understand what I've gone through in order to relate to me better. Obviously not everyone has lived the things I've lived, but everyone has known deceptions and insecurities!

It is known that when someone travels as much as you do, love relationships aren't easy. Is this also true for friendships?

Yes, definitely! That being said, I think I'm lucky. I don't have a lot of friends, but the ones I've got truly understand me.

Did you fear losing friends or not being surrounded by good people when you started to become famous?

It's true that there were moments when I didn't know why some people talked to me. But that's ok, I've sorted it all out. I've got friends!

Your home is a little of Montréal, a little of Paris, a little of the airport...

The airport's not bad. In Montréal I have an apartement and everything. And I spend a lot of time in Paris because of my emotional life.

What do you love about Paris?

It's special. It can be nerve-wracking or it can be wonderful. Kinda like Montréal, incidentally. Some think it's Paradise on Earth. But I was born there [Montréal], so I see the city differently. Paris is like in the movies: just being out in it fills you with wonder. But there's also a lot of people; it's a bit aggravating.

If you could move anywhere tomorrow, where would you go?

Vancouver! If I could bring my boyfriend with me, that's where I'd go.

SOURCE (translated from the original French by moi; corrections & suggestions appreciated)

lolwat @ Elle telling us Béa is going to be a mom but it's not even mentioned in the interview? wtf? also i hope this doesn't delay her too much from releasing a third album. babies are a wonderful thing and all, but if I was hoping for new stuff by next year at the latest. ;-;

oh, and INB4 any "Who?" comments:

^ "I don't speak French!" ^ <--- that's what Google and LyricsTranslate is for!

if you love Adele and/or Lana del Rey, methinks you'll love Cœur de Pirate; their style isn't the same but there's similarities; I like all so I don't see why others wouldn't. :3

First Reviews for The Avengers

We've seen what the fanboys think, so now how about the actual critics?

While Downey consistently steals the show with his desert-dry delivery, each actor in the freshly re-energized cast gets the chance not only to crack wise, but to touchingly express the self-doubt that lies at the heart of every superhero.--Justin Chang, Variety

With only one feature directorial credit to his name, the middling 2005 sci-fier Serenity, Whedon of Buffy fame would not have been the first name on most people's lists to tame a potentially unwieldy project. But from a logistical point of view alone, Whedon imposes a grip on the material that feels like that of a benevolent general, marshaling myriad technical resources (including an excellent use of 3D) while, even more impressively, juggling eight major characters, giving them all cool and important things to do.--Todd McCarthy, The Hollywood Reporter

Crucially, the wise-cracking id of Robert Downey Jnr's Iron Man is balanced out by instilling a hearty dose of fear in one of the team's central figures, thanks to a beautifully honed performance by Mark Ruffalo. He plays Bruce Banner – the brilliant scientist who turns into the uncontrollable colossus Hulk when angered – as a man afraid of himself.--Henry Barnes, The Guardian

With Earth’s Mightiest Heroes™ gathered, they needed a good villain to fight, and Loki certainly fills that void. He’s even more devious and devilish than his introduction in Thor and Hiddleston thoroughly owns the role, imbuing it with pure, malicious delight.--James White, Empire

Joss Whedon’s lavishly enjoyable, chewily-titled film (the branding’s there to warn British cinema-goers that John Steed will not be making an appearance) is an assemblage of everything that’s good about contemporary popcorn cinema; just as importantly, it’s a rejection of everything that isn’t. Avengers might be short on bright ideas of its own, but co-writer and director Whedon has a magpie’s eye for stealing other people’s, and an enviable knack of improving them.--Robbie Collin, The Telegraph

Casting's been a strength of the Marvel movies, and everyone who's returning matches their earlier engagements -- any fear that Downey Jr. might be phoning it in is misplaced, as he's actually stronger here than he was in the last "Iron Man." For the first time, Samuel L. Jackson feels engaged, rather than cashing a paycheck, and Scarlett Johansson's gone from dead weight to one of the highlights of the film (honestly, she's almost revelatory here).--Oliver Lyttelton, The Playlist

Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer: Margaery Supports Renly and Loras' Love

$

0
Natalie Dormer may have been topless during one of her first scenes in Game of Thrones, but it was her character's attitude about sex with her husband that made the biggest impression.

In Sunday's episode, Dormer had to play the not-so-shy virgin Margaery Tyrell, who tries to consummate her marriage with Renly Baratheon (Gethin Anthony). When he can't quite rise to the occasion, she offers to enlist the help of her brother Loras (Finn Jones), who just so happens to be Renly's lover.

"I think she's empathetic and understanding. There is no malice, there is no anger toward Renly and his love for her brother," Dormer tells TVGuide.com. "The family bonds between the Tyrells is incredibly strong. She has a lot of love and respect for Loras, and since Loras chooses Renly to love, I think she tries to be supportive.

"The political aspect is a practicality of the marriage in order to benefit all parties, to benefit their house, to benefit Renly. The Baratheons may be the future of Westeros," she continues. "I think that she genuinely sees that they can be a trinity and that they can work as three. They say that the strongest shape is a triangle, so I think she believes there is an exciting, plausible future of the three of them working together."

Check out what else Dormer has to say about Margaery's practicality, locking horns with Littlefinger and wearing that plunging neckline.

You're best known in the U.S. as Ann Boleyn on The Tudors. You've become quite the go-to girl for period drama on cable!
Natalie Dormer: [Laughs] My range does exchange beyond that. But I hear it's a commonality to jump between HBO and Showtime and vice versa, so I take it as a compliment really.

How would you describe your character Margaery?
Dormer: She's very genuine, she's old beyond her age. Through her family, she's always been educated and trained to be a political operator and play the cards for her family the best that she can for their ambition. There are comparisons you could make with my experience playing Ann Boleyn in that regard. The big difference between playing Margaery and the machinations and politics of court in playing Ann Boleyn is that Margaery a lot more of a genuine, sincere, straight-playing woman. As compared to Cersei, there's quite a Machiavellian element to her. Margaery has a pure heart. She's trying to do the best she can for her brother, for her house and for the good of the people, what she thinks is best for the realm.

The same is true for Loras, the Knight of Flowers, that sort of optimistic, liberal feel from the South. Michelle Fairley as Catelyn says "They're the Knights of Summer, and winter is coming." She feels sorry for them because they do come from a more positive, liberal attitude, environment and culture as they do in King's Landing. I think it'll be very interesting when the cultures collide.

In the last episode, you have a scene where you have to try to seduce your husband Renly...
Dormer: That was the first scene I shot. I was having a good laugh with the creators of the show, David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss], that it was a nice initiation to Game of Thrones. It was a bit cruel that they had to schedule it that way, but they denied all knowledge of the scheduling. I hadn't met Gethin Anthony before, and obviously his being a veteran from the last season, he was very generous, very welcoming. The family spirit on the show is quite amazing considering the sheer number of cast [members]... You're a new character, and there are lots of new characters for the second season. There's this ethos on the show that starts with David and Dan and it works its way down. I was made to feel very welcome immediately, which was much appreciated on quite a delicate scene to begin with.

What can you tell us about a scene you have with Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) in the upcoming Sunday's episode?
Dormer: I knew Aidan before joining Thrones and I think he's an absolutely incredible actor. His creation of Littlefinger is exciting and impressive. It's a testament to Aidan's skill as an actor that he has managed to create this fascinating character that viewers just adore to watch how he operates. I was very excited to begin Margaery's relationship with Littlefinger because even though she is a woman and even though she is so very young, because of the way she was brought up and the world she comes from, she's an old spirit. Littlefinger would make a mistake in underestimating such a young, innocent woman in the game of thrones. So it was very interesting to raise my bar as an actress to play opposite an actor such as Aidan the way Margaery knows she's going to have to raise her skills and her bar in being able to interact with Littlefinger. Maybe there's a little bit of life imitating art there.

Were you familiar with the books and Margaery before auditioning for the part?
Dormer: I wasn't familiar with the books... I think every actor on the show makes the decision whether to [read them] or not. Even though the first season was incredibly accurate to the book, there's the suggestion that in the future, because of the enormity of the scope of the books and the characters we already have in place on the show, that it might not be easy to be 100 percent so faithful to the books in the future. Not necessarily in the character story lines but in what we're able to see. I had the advantage of not really knowing who Margaery was previous to going in, so I did my interpretation on how the creators saw her...

Did the costumers want you to be cold as possible? That neckline plunged to your navel!
Dormer: Oh man, yes, absolutely. It was freezing. It's a shame. I think it was on the back of your Hurricane Irene or something, but the tail end of it came across The Atlantic and it hit the north coast of Ireland so hard. It was scheduled to happen earlier in the month when it was slightly sunnier, but because of problems with the weather, we had pushed shooting that scene. So it was really probably about fall by the time we shot it. In an ideal world, we should have been where Emilia [Clarke, who plays Daenerys] was in Croatia. That tournament scene was just unfortunate. From my experience of shooting Tudors on the island of Ireland, you cannot predict the weather. I had a lot of costume girls running over to me with hot water bottles and blankets. They were very dutiful and took great care of me.

What would best represent you on your own personal sigil?
Dormer: It's funny you should say that because I could answer that straightaway. It's a twist of fate. When I was a little girl, my grandfather who I was very close to used to grow yellow roses. He had yellow roses growing all the way up his drive. I remember watching him [raise] them when I was a little girl. I always used to joke when I was playing Ann Boleyn — the Tudor roses are white and red because they're the amalgamation of the two houses during the civil war in England — I used to say, "The roses are in my life because of The Tudors, but I love yellow roses." And it was just a twist of fate that the Tyrell's sigil is the yellow rose. I took it as a sign at the time that I was destined to play Margaery because I've always had a thing for yellow roses. Now I actually have one as a sigil. It was a twist of fate.

If you sat on the Iron Throne, what would be your first edict?
Dormer: Worldwide emancipation for women, equality for the sexes in all areas.

Lindsay Lohan instigated latest club altercation according to witness

Lindsay Lohan was the instigator, aggressor and drink-tosser in the fight at The Standard Hotel Wednesday night ... this according to a witness who was with the other girl involved in the altercation.

The witness tells us ... the incident began after a major misunderstanding between the two sides while they were partying at the Smoke and Mirrors nightclub inside the hotel.

We're told the girl was hanging out at the booth next to Lindsay's ... when Lohan tapped her on the shoulder aggressively and asked, "Did you bump into me?"

The girl denied the bump ... and suggested the real culprit could have been one of the guys in Lindsay's group. She then pointed to one of the men.

Lindsay replied, "That's my dad ... why would he bump me?"

The girl shot back, "You go clubbing with your dad?"

That's when Lindsay snapped ... so says the witness ... who claims Lindsay began cussing at the girl and then threw a drink at her face.

We're told Lindsay's dad realized what was happening .... grabbed his daughter ... and bailed.

Michael Lohan appeared on "TMZ Live" yesterday and adamantly denied his daughter chucked any beverage that night (below) ... claiming it was Lindsay who was the real victim and the recipient of the liquid projectile

Yesterday a new videoblog was published on the official Skyfall-website. It gives some impressions of the shooting in Shanghai and features very short glimpses at Bérénice Marlohe as Severine, Ola Rapace as Patrice and of course, Daniel Craig.

My anticipation for Skyfall increased so much when I found out that Ola would be in it! <3 But the whole cast is pretty fabulous, tbh. And I'm sure the Shanghai-scenes will be stunning.

The Avengers with PG-13

A rating fairly similar to Marvel Studios' last two big-screen outings, their anticipated Joss Whedon-directed "superhero team-up of a lifetime," The Avengers, has finally received it's own classification.

PG-13 for Intense Sequences of Sci-Fi Violence and Action Throughout, and a Mild Drug Reference.

The main difference between Captain America: The First Avenger and Thr Avengers' classification is the "Mild Drug Reference" which, according to early reviews, regards to (SPOILER/) how Dr. Bruce Banner has been able to refrain himself from "Hulking out" for nearly two years. Also, the apparent reason for Marvel's The Avengers received this classification so late is possibly due to the last-minute inclusion of a heavily rumored "extra scene" AFTER the credits; a mid-credits scene was shown in early screenings. What do you think?

Bro Quote: "I... really like you. I would... even dare to go a little further, perhaps. I... care a great deal about you. Very great deal. Maybe even... deeper than that. I... I... I love you.
