On the first episode of the two-part Defiance season finale, the truth about Kenya finally came out and it was judgment day, Old Testament style.
The Mayor, in a brazen attempt to curry favor with Amanda, hunted down the truth, getting it from the Tarr’s employees, who wasted no time in ratting out Stahma and Datak alike. The Mayor had them both picked up and deposited into an isolated locale, then tied them up and presented them to Amanda on a silver platter, with evidence to back it up. How would she handle it?
Well, as it turns out, she took the high road and let them both go, even though she was sorely tempted to go the other way, once she got the full story of what actually happened.
I think the writers went the right way with it. I think it would have been a bit of a betrayal of her character if they’d turned her into some vengeful assassin all of the sudden, justifiable or not.
Besides that, we’d also be out two of the show’s most compelling characters- evil at times though they may be- so there’s that as well.
I had a feeling that at least one major character was going down, and I wasn’t entirely surprised that it ended up being Tommy, given what happened to him at the end of the last episode. He did at least go out on his own terms, and provide a key part of what ended up being crucial to saving the city in the following episode, in his information about Mordecai, and how Irisa was obsessed with tracking him down.
We also got some nice flashbacks from different times in Tommy’ life, from clashing with Nolan, to begrudgingly learning to respect him, to his proposing to Irisa. Although, if I’m being completely honest, his character was a bit one-note this season, at least he went out on a positive note.
Speaking of flashbacks, we also got a more elaborate one of what turned out to be Irisa and Cai’s ancestors, from way back in 831 B.C. (!), in which we saw that after seizing control of the Kaziri ship, they each obtained a key that rendered it harmless, so long as they never crossed paths again. To that end, each left in pods to opposite ends of the earth and that was that- at least until Irisa ran afoul of Kaziri in the mines at the end of last season.
Meanwhile, an on-the-run Doc Yewll stumbled upon part of the Kaziri ship and had a run-in of her own, when it took possession of her late wife Lev. No fool Yewll, she recognized what was happening straightaway, and quipped to Kaziri, in her inimitable style: “Did you just hack my imaginary wife?” After fruitlessly arguing with her- for it turns out Kaziri was female in origin- she was not amused with Kaziri’s final solution for humanity, mocking her with a wry “Genocide ho!”
Thankfully, Yewll then proceeded to take out the implant causing her to see Lev in the first place, and poked around looking for something that might just buy her immunity for her crimes.
We ended this episode with Irisa sitting on a dusty hilltop, floating rocks in the air, and spinning them around her as if they were in orbit, which, as it turned out, they actually were. As Irisa controlled the rocks, so did she control the part of the Kaziri ship that was in space. It fired off some smaller ships, which themselves fired off some smaller sphere-like ships, which then proceeded to fire laser-like streams that cut into everything they came into contact with.
In this case, that happened to be New York, which did not fare well in the end, as the terra-forming mission began in earnest, and alien foliage and creatures started popping up everywhere, as hapless humans and aliens alike were decimated in one fell swoop. It definitely wasn’t pretty, although the effects were kind of cool and colorful.
While all this was going on, a clearly still loopy Pilar reconnected with her daughter for the first time since her return, but not before paying Stahma and Datak a visit and vociferously attacking them both verbally.
The episode ended in part with Pilar having flat-out abducted Christie and Atak alike and leaving town, with Datak and Stahma finding out about it through their new servant and giving chase, after breaking out Rafe from prison- not to mention saving him and Berlin from a freaking firing squad!
There was Yewll’s plan, which involved shooting Irisa up with a crystal-like virus, which would hopefully cause Kaziri to self-destruct, but would also kill Irisa in the process.
Nolan wasn’t thrilled about this solution, wanting to try his own, in which one of the keys was removed from Irisa- you’ll recall she took it from Cai earlier this season, though we didn’t know what was really happening at the time- and put back into Cai, thus separating them like they once were, which would hopefully buy them some time to figure out how to save Defiance.
The two just barely make it to Irisa’s location in time to stop Amanda from firing the crystallized virus bullet at Irisa.
The interaction broke Irisa out of her trance, and Cai was indeed able to retrieve the key, as per Nolan’s plan.
Nolan was just barely able to get through to her and bring her out of the hallucination in time for her and Cai to do what their ancestors did all those years ago, and bring down Karizi for good.
Together, the two were able to redirect the spheres with the lasers to fire into space, where they destroyed the mother ship, effectively ending Karizi’s reign of terror and saving Defiance in the process.
Alas, in doing so, they also caused a cave-in at the mines, effectively burying them alive, though we saw at the end that they managed to get themselves into one of those egg-like pods and save themselves.
And now for some blooper/gag reels of from season 2!

It’s odd that even after all these years of superhero blockbusters, a hero or heroine’s costume can still be the biggest symbol of what direction a film will take – or the exact opposite. An audience’s first look at a superhero suit is always certain to draw mixed reactions, but in the case of Wonder Woman, casual and diehard fans alike took their time to process Gal Gadot’s new outfit when it was revealed at Comic Con 2014.
Gadot’s casting may have been deemed ‘controversial,’ but the costume itself received a surprisingly warm reception. But the lack of the classic red, white and blue color scheme isn’t lost on former Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter. However, her reservations point to one fact that should be clear by now: the Wonder Woman of Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman is no longer just an ‘American’ icon.
The lack of any outrage or controversy surrounding the first image of Gadot in costume may be partly due to the fact that there aren’t other examples for fans to compare – aside from the one made famous on television by Lynda Carter. As one of the few women to play the role of Diana in live-action, Carter’s opinion of Gadot was understandably sought not long after her casting was announced.
The actress seemed pleased to hear that anyone was getting the chance to don the tiara and lasso on film, but with the suit revealed, Access Hollywood asked for her initial reaction to Diana’s new duds:
“Well, I was missing the red, white and blue, I have to say… I don’t know. I haven’t seen it yet, so I really can’t comment. Maybe there’s a lot more color in it than what we saw in the picture.”
Those sentiments have been expressed by plenty, with Zack Snyder’s love of releasing monochrome or stylized images of his principal cast maintaining suspense (and for some, concerns). While it’s safe to assume that Wonder Woman’s costume will be more colorful than the first image, it’s all but confirmed that the primary color scheme of the past has been cast aside.
That might come as a disappointment to those who view the comic book version – or Carter’s – as the ‘true’ look of the character. But there’s good reason for the lack of the “red, white and blue” noted by Carter, and it stretches far beyond the cosmetic.
Take a look, if you will, at the costume worn by Carter in the 1970s, and see if a certain… national identity is being subtly hinted at:
For us, the fact that Zack Snyder wasn’t interested in bringing an all-American Wonder Woman to his film universe was made abundantly clear when he cast an Israeli-born actress in the role. The idea of a Wonder Woman who wasn’t light-skinned, blue-eyed, or American was problematic for many, but the most common explanation heard for why Batman V Superman‘s Diana wouldn’t be played by an American was a simple one: Wonder Woman isn’t American to begin with.
Snyder isn’t alone in that belief either, as DC Comics has also implemented a similar shift away from the character’s classic depiction. Although Diana was first introduced with a golden eagle on her chest, and wrapped in the American flag, the Wonder Woman on comic stands today has shed much of that imagery.
Although comic book superheroes have risen to the level of “American myths” (according to star Ben Affleck) the idea of nationality or ‘jurisdiction’ in superhero fiction has drastically changed. As globalization and technology have shrunk the world, the idea of bona fide ‘superheroes’ protecting their home states has ended. And if Wonder Woman is expected to take issue with the struggles of women in a male-dominated world, America doesn’t have a monopoly on the problem.
Although Clark Kent may always possess the values of a Kansas farmboy (as he explains at Man of Steel‘s close, he’s “about as American as you can get”), ideas of nationality or citizenship is complicated when you can cross an ocean in minutes – and didn’t come from Earth in the first place. But it’s been years since comic writers and artists realized that an American identity for Diana doesn’t make much sense. It seems Snyder simply agrees.
Eager to point out the more important issue, Carter went on to explain that Gadot and her colleagues have bigger challenges than what message is sent by their character’s costume:
“It’s almost impossible to play a superhero anyway. You can’t. You just have to play a character that happens to do these amazing things. That’s the only way you can do it. And the costumes all take care of themselves.”
“I’ll have to wait and see. I hate to comment on something that I haven’t seen and I’m very supportive of Gal Gadot. I’m very supportive of them doing Wonder Woman, putting her in any capacity. I think she needs to be out there. … It’s high time somebody took a chance and did it and so I’m really happy about that.”
We tend to agree; it’s far better to hear fans debate the color or design of Wonder Woman’s movie costume than it is to wonder when people will ever get to see it. What do you think of Snyder’s step away from portraying Wonder Woman as an ‘American’ icon? Is Wonder Woman a heroine for every country, or do you have your concerns?
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives on March 25th, 2016.
We have a Superman and Batman tag, how about Wonder Woman?
Justin Bieber allegedly posted this a couple of hours ago on Marina and the Diamond's YT page for her song "Primadonna:"
Hacked? Maybe. Random? Yes.
eta: If we recall, Marina did a cover of Bieber's "Girlfriend" years ago where she twisted the lyrics around for a less bullshit spin:
eta: It appears to be a very elaborate fake which I don't understand because I'm old.
You've never really been 'in' the closet have you?
No. I never really have. I never didn't speak about it. It's really important to find out who you are before you have success, because there's really a rush now for actors to get as famous as possible as quickly as possible and so it was really important for me, in the first ten years of my career just to get to know myself and work hard. I'm glad in a sense that I wasn't a commodity, because when people start to look at you and scrutinise you in a way that they didn't before - it's important you know who they are looking at it. You need to know and accept who you are.
The relationship between Sherlock and Moriarty is very interesting...
Well they are absolutely obsessed with each other. There has to be a line...
In the words of Erasure... I love to hate you.
[laughs] Absolutely. The lines are blurred between hate and love.
I believe your fan-fiction is pretty fruity...
Oh my God. It's the drawings and the photos! It's mostly women doing it... You're put with quite an array of different people... [laughs] I think it's done by librarians.
It's great to have another talented gay man on the cover.
I would never call myself a role model, but the best thing I can do to represent and be a positive influence on somebody, is to be as good at my job as I can possibly be. People are scared that others will just see them as a gay person - but if you say 'here I am, I'm an actor, that's part of who I am. I can play all these parts,' well that's what's freeing. It's not the top line thing about me. I feel so proud of this film - [Pride] and I'm happy to talk about it. I want to be authentic for this film. It's one of the instances when perhaps it is necessary to talk about my private life. It would be strange not to.
Do you remember what it felt like, coming out?
It was really lovely actually. I think I've been very, very, very lucky. I say this from a place of happiness and contentment now but at the time I didn't know what way it was going to be. Of course I was scared. We are talking about years and years ago now. It's not even in this century. That's another thing, this sort of idea of 'coming out' in public that happened a long time ago. Even the words 'coming out', because there's an inference that you were ever 'in.'
Coming out post obvi
Ed Westwick enjoys his yummy iced coffee while making a quick stop at Starbucks with a guy friend on Wednesday afternoon (August 27) in West Hollywood, Calif.
Los Angeles emcee The Game collected over a dozen artists for his tribute song dedicated to Michael Brown, the unarmed teenager gunned down by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri.
“I managed to get everyone on board easy, because we have hearts,” said Game. “We are inclined to take positive approach to resolving an issue that has existed since the beginning of mankind and that is racism and hatred towards another as human beings.”
The song is available for purchase on iTunes. Proceeds from the sale of the single will go to the Michael Brown Memorial Fund. The Go Fund Me description for the MBF reads:
Michael Brown was an 18-year-old that was killed by a Ferguson Police Officer on Saturday, August 9th. His family is now seeking justice for Michael’s death. Their pursuit for justice will be lengthy and hard but with the support of the community they will get justice. If you are willing to support Michael’s family please donate to Michael Brown’s Memorial Fund. These funds will assist his family with costs that they will acquire as they seek justice on Michael’s behalf. These funds will not be used for legal fees; all funds will be given to the family of Michael Brown. We appreciate your support.
Hundreds converged on Ferguson on Saturday to march for Michael Brown, the unarmed black 18-year-old who was shot and killed by a white police officer three weeks ago to the day.
Led by Brown's parents and other relatives, Saturday's throng peacefully made their way down Canfield Drive in the St. Louis suburb to a makeshift memorial that marked the spot where Brown was shot.
"We know that his life is not going to be in vain," the Rev. Spencer Booker of St. Louis' St. Paul A.M.E. Church said into a megaphone, standing in the middle of the street amid candles, placards, stuffed animals and now-wilted flowers. "We know you're going to even the score, God. We know you're going to make the wrong right."
Brown's parents — mother Lesley McSpadden and father Michael Brown Sr. — encircled the memorial with other family members during prayers, including one by a Muslim clergy member.
Hours later, hundreds of protesters again gathered in front of the suburban police department and fire station, blocking the road. Fiery speeches by way of speakers mounted to a car gave way to another march, with chants of, "If we can't have it, we're shutting it down."

HEATH LEDGER'S DAD LISTS ACTOR'S AUSTRALIA HOME FOR $4.6 MILLION
Heath Ledger's father Kim helped design a stunning home for his son in Perth, Australia, but sadly the actor passed away before he could move in and enjoy the residence. And now, over 6 years after Ledger's tragic death, his dad has finally decided to sell it.
Ledger told The Daily Telegraph last week, "[Heath] was very interested in the design. We talked about this house a lot. We thought it would be a great place for him to stay when he was in town." The home was still under construction at the time of the star's death in early 2008. Heath and former partner Michelle Williams lived in a small home off of Laurel Canyon, which was sold in seven months after he passed away and was more recently purchased by Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson.
Anyway, according to Vitale Fine Properties, the home down under was designed to have "a natural flow between mood-enhancing spaces," and from the open floor plan to the simple and modular furnishings, it's truly a modern marvel.
The residence, which has approximately 8,500 square feet of living space on two levels, has six bedrooms, five bathrooms and three balconies and an oversize kitchen. There's a downstairs living room which integrates seamlessly with an outdoor entertaining space, and adjacent to that there is a study with tropical garden view. There is a stunning pool and a four-car garage.

The family of "Big Brother 16" houseguest Victoria Rafaeli is fuming mad over a joke Frankie Grande made about 2 guys teaming up to take Victoria's virginity ... and they want an apology from him AND his sister Ariana.
During the livestream on Saturday, Grande told two male houseguests they should "double team" Victoria and "take all her virginities." He then made a bunch of extremely sexual gestures. Just watch the video.
Victoria's mother, Lizabeth, tells TMZ she definitely took Frankie's comments to be a "rape joke" and feels her daughter is now a "target for rape" because producers did nothing to stop Frankie's rant.
Lizabeth wants an apology from Frankie's parents and Ariana Grande... and she wants Frankie to apologize to her daughter.
She tells TMZ, “I want Frankie to imagine people saying this stuff about his sister and see if he thinks it's funny.”
i'm curious to see how ariana handles this and her relationship w/frankie if this gets more attention.

'Thor 3' Spoilers: The Ragnarok And More; Third Movie To Include Loki's Wife Sigyn? Exclusive! Tom Hiddleston And Chris Hemsworth Hints Ragnarok Plot For Thor 3!
Kyle will be working on the "Thor 3" screenplay with Christopher Yost who has already written for "Thor: The Dark World."
Now that fans are sure to get their "Thor" fix, they can expect to see Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth), Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman) and Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston) reprise their roles in the upcoming blockbuster.
The third "Thor" movie is said to show Asgard's demise.
According to "Thor 3" spoilers on Movie Pilot, Asgard could come to an end because of Chris Hemsworth's Thor as a part of the "apocalyptic comic book story of Ragnarok."
Movieweb mentions an interview Chris Hemsworth gave wherein he mentions an apocalypse happening, which fans connect to the Ragnarok.
"With the Avengers, we made it difficult to separate them each time there's some sort of conflict. It's like, where's the rest of the team? I liked that Thor has another universe to take care of and keep him occupied. I think that in the comic book, the sort of end of days, Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in. Where it's sort of the end of all things. There's obviously no script or anything. When I read the comic books, I thought it was an interesting way to go," says Hemsworth
In a different interview, Tom Hiddleston might have slipped a few times mentioning the Ragnarok and "Thor 3," saying:
"I think there are very interesting things that happen. In the mythology, when you get into Ragnarok, which is the "end of all things", it's not the end of the world...It's the end of time, and the universe, and space. And I think, if I am correct...Loki essentially, sets that in motion. And his motivation for doing so is intriguing and he almost becomes the incarnation of chaos, in a way...So I think that can be quite new."
He also mentions Loki's wife Sigyn:
" In the myth, he has a wife called Sigyn who protects him from a poison serpent who is dripping venom into his mouth. And she has a bowl over his mouth and of course the bowl keeps filling up and she has to empty it, and so his damnation could be interesting. I don't know...I mean, Loki is a character who's existed in popular consciousness for 3,000 years, so there are many, many iterations I could explore...It's just a question of whether audiences would want to see him again."
Stay tuned for more "Thor 3" spoilers!
“Yeah I got a lot of time. I don’t think it’s just yet, Thor 3. I think it’s a ways away,” Hemsworth said at SDCC when asked about returning for Thor 3.
Marvel announced their schedule (see it below) which extends to 2019 and fans were quick to earmark 2017 as the return of the Norse God.
Screenrant said that Marvel’s decision to hold off a third Thor film was probably because of the Hemsworth’s schedule. The site wrote, “Let’s not forget that Hemsworth is a busy guy, with plenty of films on his slate already. Apart from picking up the hammer again for next year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, he’s starring in Michael Mann’s Blackhat and Ron Howard’s Heart of the Sea, he’s rumored for Shane Black’s Doc Savage, and he’s taking over the Snow White and the Huntsman franchise with his own Huntsman-centric spin-off in 2016.”
Marvel has confirmed that the screenwriters have already been hired, and one of them is Marvel’s former senior vice president for production and development, Craig Kyle. Kyle will be penning the script together with Christopher Yost, whose previous work includes Thor: The Dark World.
Kevin Feige, President of Production for Marvel Studios, also has this to say about hiring Craig Kyle, “I am proud of Craig have enjoyed working with him over the past three years. His creative instincts have helped shaped Thor and Thor: The Dark World at every level of the filmmaking process”.
Movie Pilot website writes the Ragnarok will be part of the film as Thor could again be seen fighting his brother and will also be seen saving his own world. In another rumor it is learned the upcoming movie will feature a new main character. It will be based on its comic version and to be named as Amora the Enchantress. (other articles say she'll be a love interest for Loki)
It is also being suggested that Balder the brave can also join the cast of third instalment of "Thor." In the comic book, Balder was Thor's half brother and his friend, according to the website. If Loki goes out to find who he is then he can end up meeting Balder. Balder is reportedly Odin's legitimate son and not Loki.
Meanwhile, it seems that fans have to wait for a while before the third part of the franchise would go in production.
"Well we'll see. It won't be until probably sometime next year before we announce the 2016 movies and the 2017 movies, and a lot of that will depend on the reception to the next batch of movies. What we're actively working on is Thor's next appearance in 'Age of Ultron.' Where he goes beyond that we have a lot of ideas. You're right that where we leave the characters in this movie sort of hints what could happen in the future, but we'll see where that goes after Avengers 2," said Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Fiege when asked about the possibilities of Thor 3 to Screen Rant.
Thor would be next seen as the part of ensemble cast in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." It is being said that a lot of dynamics are going to change in regards to his character sketch in "Thor 3" based upon how the character progresses in "Avengers."
The complete cast of "Thor 3" is yet to be annouced. The film is reported to be written by Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost. Meanwhile, "Avengers-2" is set to be released next year.
In an exclusive interview with Collider.com in July, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared a few details about the current status of "Thor 3" and another Marvel project, "Captain America 3."
"Both in development, both in the works. Cap [Captain America] has already been announced, so that's up first. That's in a further stage. 'Thor' is being outlined right now, so both in the works," said Feige.
According to Movie Pilot, the plot of "Thor 3" could revolve around Asgard coming to an end because of Thor being a part of the "apocalyptic comic book story of Ragnarok."
Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, has mentioned the Ragnarok plot is a recent interview as well.
"I think there are very interesting things that happen. In the mythology, when you get to Ragnarok, which is 'the end of all things', it's not the end of the world … it's the end of time, and the universe, and space. And I think, if I am correct, Loki essentially sets that in motion. And his motivation for doing so is intriguing and he almost becomes the incarnation of chaos, in a way," the actor said.
Fans can expect Chris Hemsworth to be back to reprise his role as Thor. Hiddleston and Natalie Portman are reported to be back for the latest installment in the "Thor" movie franchise.
It was reported back in November by MovieWeb during an interview with Thor star Tom Hiddleston that Loki's wife, Sigyn, could possibly appear in the next movie in order to help Loki, who is now on the throne of Asgard posing as Odin. But what could this mean for Ragnarok?
In the comics, Odin's imprisonment of Loki enraged Sigyn, who secretly followed him as he traveled to Earth, and transported the real body of Donald Blake deep in the caverns of Mount Wundagore. In an attempt to steal Blake and use his as leverage to have Loki released. However, she accidentally destroyed Blake in the process of trying to free him from the spell created by Odin. She quickly covered her tracks by creating a doppelgänger of the mortal.
What We Know So Far About 'Thor 3'
While this doesn't directly deal with Ragnarok, the idea of her coming to Earth and using someone like that could be a storyline within Thor 3. Thor is currently on Earth and it is unsure if he will return to Asgard during the next Avengers movie or afterwards so he could still be on Earth when the third movie starts.
Sigyn could be used as someone keeping an eye on Thor while he is on Earth and the doppelgänger could be used as Sigyn's watching eyes on the God of Thunder, which in turn helps Loki as well.
It will be interesting to see if she does make an appearance and if her contribution will help in Loki's destruction of Asgard.
Comic Book Movie speculated about where Marvel would be heading with the Infinity Gauntlet storyline and whether it will start to take shape anytime soon with many of the Infinity gems already teased in previous movies.
In The Avengers, Loki is employed by Thanos to come and take over Earth using the Tesseract power, but ends up failing. The Tesseract and Loki were sent to Asgard where the events of Thor: The Dark World took place and Loki was assumed to be dead. But the site speculates that maybe that was part of the plan.
"Thanos employs Loki to get the Tesseract from Earth in exchange for Loki ruling Earth. WRONG! Thanos used Earth and Loki as a scapegoat for his real target. Asgard. Loki and the Tesseract are now on Asgard. As far as the universe is concerned, Loki's dead. But we know he's impersonating none other than Odin the All-Father," the site said.
"Thanos would've come to kill Loki if he'd failed, so evidently, Loki didn't fail. Thanos also probably wanted Earth to be taken over as well, but each step of this plan is a win/win for Thanos, really. If Loki had taken Earth, Thanos has a whole planet of slave labourers. Loki didn't conquer Earth, ends up impersonating Odin instead. So, Loki never really failed Thanos at all. He just completed Phase One."
It seems like Thanos now, without our knowledge, has access to both the Tesseract and Infinity Gauntlet. The other stones, the Aether from The Dark World and orb from Guardians of the Galaxy, are still not in his control, but could be in due time.
So could Thanos become a part of Thor 3? It is possible. With the Ragnarok plot line teased, the Mad Titan could use the destruction of Asgard to really push his plan into full gear for The Avengers 3.

alright... so... the plot of this movie is either going to be loki destroys asgard or loki peaces out from asgard, loki gets laid by his wife who hasn't been mentioned for three films or loki gets laid by the enchantress who is really thirsty for thor, and ragnarok might happen involving loki's monster kids who have also not been mentioned for three films or ragnarok might not happen at all, thanos may or may not turn up to snatch the infinity gauntlet and fuck loki's shit up...
...and thor may or may not be involved at some point in some way. got it.
If there's one thing HBO's Game of Thrones TV show is not afraid of, it's showing nudity on-screen. From the series' debut, and up to the most recent episode, there's usually a scene or two where someone's naked. However, there is one particular nude scene which has caused a little bit of grief for HBO. In A Dance With Dragons, an important public nude scene takes place that involves a major character and is set to appear in Game of Thrones' fifth season. Unfortunately, though, the local church in Dubrovnik, Croatia, has policies against "public displays of sexuality," which prevented the scene from being filmed. HBO's solution? Shoot in a new location. This was revealed by show producers during the HBO Emmy party earlier this week. According to the unnamed producers, this snag is "old news" and that a new location for the scene has already been secured.
For spoiler reasons, I'm not going to disclose who this major character is and why he/she strips down in public. If you don't read the books, or have yet to read about this particular scene, I'd advise against searching for it on the internet since it is a primary plot point and best to be experienced fresh.
lol as if nobody knows who it is by now, but I appreciate this spoiler-free article. Glad they resolved it.

So it seems like the show is adapting Arya's Mercy chapter in season 5. Seems that Mace Tyrell is taking the role of Harys Swyft and that Meryn Trant is taking the role of Raff the Sweetling.
