Joan Rivers On Life Support ..But Family Still Hopeful ....
Joan Rivers is on life support ... and sources close to the legendary comedian tell TMZ she is completely reliant on machines to stay alive.
According to our sources, the family will have to decide in the next couple of days whether to keep the 81-year-old on life support. We're told the family remains hopeful that if they do decide to turn off the machines, she will make a turn for the better and fight through it.
As TMZ first reported, Rivers was rushed to the hospital after she stopped breathing during throat surgery on Thursday.

Get Out Of Their Way! Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Reportedly Pay Locals To Leave Malta Island!
Privacy, please! As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, jet-setting newlyweds Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their six children have plunked down on the Mediterranean island country Malta, but according to the New York Post, they’re not planning to share their new home base with the locals.
The actors- who are filming their new movie, By the Sea, on the island of Gozo- are so obsessed with keeping their production away from prying eyes, they’re allegedly paying local business owners as much as $200,000 to skip town.
“A lot of people have agreed to leave the island so that they can have privacy to film the movie,” a source told the New York Post’s Page Six. “The set is being built there to recreate the French Riviera.” As Radar revealed, Brangelina and their brood will be based in Gozo filming the drama until at least November 10.

Taylor Swift Joins The Voice as a Season Seven Advisor
She's in! Taylor Swift has a new big gig, signing on for a role with The Voice, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal. The "Shake It Off" singer, 24, will be joining the upcoming seventh season of the NBC competition show as an advisor. A source tells Us that Swift will serve in the same capacity that Coldplay singer Chris Martin aided the show in its sixth season, advising contestants across all four teams.
Swift will be working with veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, as well as new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, who were added to the lineup for the upcoming season. "Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with," a source tells Us of Swift's contribution to The Voice. "She had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor."
Swift, who previously performed on the fourth season of The Voice, joins previously announced advisors Stevie Wonder (who is working with Levine), Gavin Rossdale (working with his wife Stefani), Little Big Town (working with Shelton), and Alicia Keys (working with Williams).
The next season of The Voice kicks off on Sept. 22, one month before the scheduled release of Swift's upcoming fifth studio album 1989. Led by the hit single "Shake It Off," 1989 will hit stores on Oct. 27.

Tinder Has Gone to the Dogs
Users of the matchmaking app Tinder have a greater chance of finding puppy love now that shelter dogs have made their way to the dating app.
Ten dogs from Social Tees Animal Rescue, a no-kill shelter in New York, now have Tinder dating profiles.
Interns at the Bartle Bogle Hegarty advertising agency came up with the idea as a way to increase pet adoptions.
“People strictly go to Tinder to find love, go there to find relationships and companionship,” intern Alexis Mood told Ad Week. “These dogs have something to give.”
When the dogs’ profiles were posted on the matchmaking app, they received 2,700 matches in less than a week, according to Mood.
On Tinder, users swipe right on photos of other users they like. If both users swipe right, a match is made and they can text each other within the app.
When a user swipes on a pooch’s profile, they get a message from the animal shelter with information about adopting the dog. Those not interested in long-term canine companionship can opt to walk shelter dogs or even foster them.
The team behind the doggy dating profiles didn’t collaborate with Tinder on the project, but Tinder hasn’t removed the profiles.
Pet matchmaking isn’t new to smartphones. BarkBuddy is an app similar to Tinder except it matches people with adoptable dogs in their area.

Michael Sam cut by Rams
The St. Louis Rams released defensive end Michael Sam on Saturday, the team announced.
Sam's efforts to become the first openly gay player in NFL history came up just short in a competition against undrafted rookie Ethan Westbrooks.
Sam officially hit waivers Saturday at 4 p.m. ET when all NFL teams had to trim their rosters down to the league-mandated 53 players. From there, the other 31 teams will have until noon ET on Sunday to put in a claim for Sam. If he goes unclaimed, he will be free to sign with a practice squad.
According to one league source, the Rams would like to bring Sam back to their 10-man practice squad.
"There will be no challenge, no challenges whatsoever," for whatever team picks up Sam, Rams coach Jeff Fisher said at a news conference.
"There's no challenge with respect to Mike Sam," Fisher said. "He's not about drawing attention to himself. He kept his head down and worked and you can't ask anything more out of any player for that matter."

‘Begin Again’ Heads Back to Theaters for Awards Season
Looking for a second act, “Begin Again” will, well, begin again, with a return to theaters.

The theatrical return of the John Carney-directed musical dramedy — which stars Mark Ruffalo, Keira Knightley and Adam Levine — was announced by its distributor, The Weinstein Company, on Monday afternoon. The company told TheWrap that the movie will be in 350-400 theaters nationwide over the weekend, likely for a one-week engagement.
Pitching it as a bid for attention as awards season ramps up, TWC distribution president Erik Lomis said, “Audiences this summer fell in love with the amazing cast and soundtrack of ‘Begin Again,’ and we're thrilled that we have the chance to bring it back to the big screen and share it with more moviegoers.”

Mariah Carey's Interview with Turkey's First Gay Magazine's First Issue!
Since she released her first studio album "Vision of Love" in 1990, Mariah Carey has been one of the most popular singers in the world thanks to her five octave vocal range. A mother of 3-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, while juggling her roles as an artist and a wife, Carey has sold more than 200 million albums around the world, earning the distinction of becoming the best-selling female artist of the millennium.
Carey's 14th studio album, "Me. I Am Mariah. The Elusive Chanteuse", which was released in May this year, sold more than 828,000 in the first three days and broke a new record as the fastest-selling album in the history of iTunes (lmao WHAT @ this beyonce confusion.). The singer also holds 32 Billboard Music Awards, five Grammy Awards and 20 World Music Awards.
Turkey's first gay tabloid magazine, GayMag, which has been online since 2008, hit the shelves on August 5, and the American pop diva provided support to the magazine with an interview. Stating that she had many LGBT friends, Carey said: "Everybody should be able to do what they want to do and be in the pursuit of happiness. We are all the same and we all want the same things: The right to be happy, to be just who we want to be and to love who we want to love," showing her egalitarian attitude to all genders.
"Of course, I have my designer and my assistant - I have lots of LGBT members in my team. Also, since I was a little girl, my mother has been very open-minded and had many different types of friends, so being gay never seemed wrong or strange to me. Her best friends were a gay couple, Ernie and Mort, and they kind of co-raised me. They were the nicest guys ever, and they would watch my little shows when I'd sing. Today, I guess they'd be called my uncles. Sometimes they'd put us up when we didn't have a place to go. I couldn't wait to go stay at their house because it was so beautifully done," she said.
Carey has always embraced her LGBT fans, albeit without directly referring to the community in her music like Madonna or Lady Gaga. "A lot of my die-hard gay fans don't just know my singles, but they also know all the album cuts. I have songs about feeling different and alienated, because I grew up with my own issues, being biracial and not having money. Some of those lyrics can apply to anybody who feels different. My die-hard gay fans listen to songs like 'Outside' and 'Close My Eyes', songs that most people wouldn't know, and these songs have become anthemic for them for their own personal reasons. For instance Marc Jacob's ex-boyfriend Jason Preston got a big tattoo of my name on his stomach a few years ago; I've seen it, and I felt that it's amazing."
Carey said that if people from the LGBT community loved her dance remixes or heartbreak songs, it might be because the community loves strong voices like Gloria Gaynor, Donna Summer, Martha Wash and others. Touching on the most important thing that has to change about people's perception of homosexuality in the world, Carey said: "I think people just need to respect love. No matter whether it's homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual."
Noting that the right to same-sex marriage should be permitted around the world, she said: "If two people want to get married, it is their prerogative - we hope. Everybody should be able to do what they want to do and be in the pursuit of happiness."
As for "Me. I Am Mariah. The Elusive Chanteuse", Carey said she was sick with a bad sinus infection while recording it. "I recorded some song in a few minutes just as a demo and decided to keep the vocals. I lived with most of the songs for a year and never recorded the demo vocals. I really loved the imperfections, so I kept the original demos. I spent the time I'd normally spend on backgrounds and vocal production on getting the music perfect. There were days I spent solely on getting the perfect mix of sounds for the snare alone. Discipline, patience, control, truth, risk and effortlessness were all thing I thought about while I was putting this album together."
The singer also said she was definitely conscious of all the different types of people who listen to her music, adding that the she always set out to make the most personal, honest and best album every time. Having decided not to preempt the release of the album with a single or a standard campaign, Carey said she simply uploaded it to iTunes in one go. "It was a big part of challenge. I was recording, shooting videos and performing on the tour every night, all at the same time. At some point I felt like, 'What am I doing? Is this too ambitious?' Even the day the record was to be released I was scared to death. But I also knew if I was that scared, something big was about to happen."
Carey has previously been to southern vacation hotspot of Antalya. When asked what she knows most about Turkey, Carey said: "I really love Turkey and Turkish guys. The hospitality was nice, but I could not spend a long time; next time I would love to stay longer."

Liam Neeson willing to play Ra's al Ghul on Arrow "in a heartbeat"
Last month, at Comic-Con, Arrow fans went nuts when it was revealed that Ra's al Ghul would be coming to Season 3. Then came the the part where the internet listed off who they'd love to see play Ra's on TV. And everyone from Jason Isaacs to Oded Fehr was been mentioned. But what if we could get the guy who played Ra's in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins? That's right - Liam Neeson!
Not that anything is currently in the works, but Neeson, in a recent video interview with MTV, said he'd be willing to reprise the role. If he were asked to, that is.
"No, I haven’t [been asked], I haven’t at all. I would [do it], in a heartbeat, if it came my way, yeah. Very much so."
When asked of he had any advice for the actor who does wind up playing Ra's, Neeson offered up the following...
"They have to believe in their philosophy. Ra’s al Ghul absolutely believed what he was doing was ultimately saving civilization, and it was quite a good argument he comes up with. Throughout the ages this fraternity, that brought the plague to wipe out a section of mankind because it needed to be regenerated again. Very dangerous, but you have to believe it."

It’s a family affair, but the entire family is not attending Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy's wedding today.
Earlier today, actor Mark Wahlberg tweeted out his excitement for his brother's nuptials to the former host of The View.
