The scars from those bite marks are apparently never going to heal properly as Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir has announced he has split from Victor Voronov, his husband of two years.
Weir used Twitter to break the news to his fans.
It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together. My heart hurts, and I wish him well.
— Johnny Weir (@JohnnyGWeir) March 19, 2014
The two men were married December 30, 2011 and it appeared to be a happy, although occasionally tempestuous union. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Weir addressed the challenge that came with the wedding.
“Being married is an adjustment, and I’m such an OCD, solitary, confined person that it was very hard to open my life and my home and in some ways my closet to somebody else,” he said. “We both are constantly fighting to wear the pants in the relationship.”
That strain eventually began to show publicly. Last November Voronov sent a string of bullying emails to Michael Lucas after the porn producer/activist criticized Weir’s stance on Russia’s antigay legislation. Weir, a three-time U.S. figure skating champion and two-time Olympian, worked for NBC as a commentator for figure skating during the Sochi Winter Olympics, a move which frustrated many LGBT people. Earlier this month Weir and Voronov were in court to settle a domestic violence dispute after the latter filed a police report which claimed Weir had bit him in a way that was totally unwelcome. The judge eventually agreed to dismiss the case and Weir has refused to publicly comment on the incident. But it appears the damage to their relationship was more than skin deep.
Emma Stone just showed us what girl power is all about! The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actress, 25, had a major fangirl moment on the Australian talk show Jules, Merrick & Sophie With Mel B. on March 19.
Upon learning that Melanie Brown (aka Scary Spice) wasn't able to make it, Stone immediately started tearing up on camera.
"Wait, Mel B. could have been here? I'm going to cry!" she exclaimed as her eyes welled up.
Luckily the spunky Spice Girl recorded a friendly video for the super fan, thanking her for being a lifelong supporter and giving her a hard time for liking Baby Spice the best.
"Oh my God, is Mel B. talking to me?" Stone said panicking. "Oh my God, I'm so excited. I'm legitimately crying. I'm the biggest Spice Girls fan ever!"
As "punishment" Mel B., 38, declared that Andrew Garfield's longterm girlfriend had to sing one of the group's top singles. But by that point the waterworks had started.
"What should I sing? I can't sing! She just talked to me," Stone said through elated tears.
Finally she landed on "Wannabe," the band's first big hit — and happily sang a verse for the delighted hosts. Watch the adorable clip above!
The indie film The Moon and the Sun based on Vonda McIntyre's fantasy novel about a beautiful mermaid will begin production at the end of the month.
The cast includes Pierce Brosnan,Fan Bingbing,Kaya Scodelario,Ben Lloyd-Hugues and Benjamin Walker.
Brosnan stars as King Louis XIV, who is determined to protect the future of France by reigning for all eternity. His search for immortality leads him to capture and steal the life force from a mermaid (Fan), but soon his 18-year-old illegitimate daughter (Scodelario) discovers the mystical creature and strikes up a friendship with her.
Focus Features will release The Moon and the Sun in the U.S. in 2015. International sales are being handled by Good Universe.
I have no words for that plot ...
Album leaks starting April 15th.— AZEALIA BANKS (@AZEALIABANKS) March 21, 2014
Azealia Banks has taken to Twitter to announce that she will begin to leak her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste from April 15th. This follows the album being pushed back several times having originally been anticipated in 2012 which has caused Banks to express her frustration at her label multiple times. Angel Haze similarly leaked her entire Dirty Gold album in late 2013 after having the release date pushed back.
Sex kitten and world renowned glamor puss, Dita Von Teese is the reigning queen of wearing lingerie. Between her burlesque career, expanding lingerie line and history as an employee at a lingerie shop, she’s basically the underpants authority–sorry, Victoria’s Secret Angels.
Today, the modern day icon of retro mystique talked about her influences like Gypsy Rose Lee and Sally Rand, her personal collection of historical underthings, and explained a few of the darling garments from her line.
If you feel a little sheepish about wearing racy underpinnings, the esteemed Von Teese has got you covered. She also offered a few pointers for women on buying, wearing and feeling good in sexy underthings. Her advice is as sexcellent as you’d expect.
Here are Dita Von Teese’s 3 lingerie tips to live by:
*Get fitted and wear your actual size to achieve peak glamor. If you don’t like your size, cut the tags out!
*Buy more than one pair of underwear to mix and match with your bras. Extra gold stars for experimenting with new styles.
*Wearing underwear is practically mandatory, so take pleasure in it!
An Italian pop star has reflected on his career, and realized he releasing a song about a gay man being ‘cured’ was perhaps not his greatest idea.
Back in 2006, Giuseppe Povia was selling hundreds of thousands of records and receiving special awards from the music industry.
But then three years later, he released ‘Luca era gay’ (Luca was gay)’ about a man who was ‘cured’ of his sexuality.
In his most recent blog entry, Povia said he is now finding it difficult to get work because of the ‘homosexual campaign’.
He still refuses to apologize.
‘Apologize for what? For singing a song? A true story?’ asks Povia.
He said he ‘wants to apologize for not realizing we live in a violent media, psychological, artistic and cultural dictatorship.’
‘Wherever I present myself … there’s always prejudice,’ the singer continued.
‘Povia is evil, he’s against gay people and therefore must die.’
‘The only positive thing,’ Povia added, ‘is that the majority of people (90%) are on my side.’
He says this majority ‘are sadly silent’ but ‘silence doesn’t change a thing’.
Povia claims he was told the story by a man, who described himself as an ‘ex-gay’, on a train who shared his life story.
‘He told me that if I wrote a song about his story, one day, many people would tell me, out of dishonesty, or misinformation, or ignorance about the subject, that it was impossible for a gay [person] to change,’ he said.
‘I couldn’t have imagined that that song would be the end of my career.’
The song’s chorus can be translated in English as: ‘Luca was gay and now he’s together with her, Luca speaks from his heart, Luca says I’m another man.’
International media heavily criticized the story, with the Italian LGBTI group Arcigay condemning Povia for promoting homophobia.
‘[The song] is an insult to all gay people fighting homophobia and ignorance in Italy,’ they said.
After the outrage settled down, Povia admitted that he had a gay ‘phase’, but eventually ‘got over it’.
lmao @ this feces in human form being a failure
now he just needs to die
There’s no question that January Jones can be a provocative figure— both because of the icy character that she’s so closely identified with, but also because of her unconventional choices both on and off the red carpet. “I try to take risks and shock people a little bit,” she offers. “It’s important to provoke some sort of emotion, negative or positive.”
Jones and her hair and makeup team, which can often include Chanel celebrity artist, Rachel Goodwin (a collaborator on this cover story), spend weeks before an event, looking at inspirational photos to come up with a persona that matches her dress. “I go in a headspace where I’m portraying something, some emotion,” Jones says. “Red carpets, premieres— they can be really daunting…It’s easier to play a character. It’s healthier mentally.”
What is the single greatest night of your life and why?
The night my son was born for so many reasons.
What is your favorite gift that you have ever received and given?
My favorite gifts I've received are too personal to share.
Do you think gentlemen prefer blondes?
I think gentlemen rarely have a preference but having been a red head and a brunette before, I will say I get more attention being a blond, it must have something to do with light reflection.
At what age do you think men are at their best?
Somewhere between 30-80.
Who do you most want to go to bed with, dead or alive?
Paul Newman or Rihanna
What do you really think of Jon Hamm?
I think he's amazing. Very kind and generous, well read, very strong but easily vulnerable, very funny but also dark. My friend.
How important is nail polish in your life?
It's very important because I wear acrylics for Mad Men and am constantly changing the polish from work colors (frosty white, coral, classic red or pink), to a nude or light pink to disguise how long they are. And if I want to go bold, I love a deep red.
What is the most important beauty product in your cosmetic wardrobe?
Face creams of course. I can't live without Sisely's Supremya night cream. It's worth your rent money.
Do you believe in plastic surgery?
Whatever helps a person feel beautiful and confident is fine with me. I personally am afraid of the procedures that involve anesthetic but ask me again in twenty years.
What do you keep on your bedside table?
Books, water, hand cream, lip balm and photos of my family.
What is the most important piece of beauty advice you learned from your mom?
She always told me that if I kept making so many weird and ugly faces my face would eventually freeze that way. Luckily I found a job where funny and/or frozen faces are encouraged. Also, to not over pluck your eyebrows, a strong brow makes you look younger.
What items will you take from the Mad Men set when it wraps?
My Movado watch if I can, maybe some clothes and table lighters.
Which book changed your life?
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo.
What is one thing in Hollywood that is overrated?
What question have you received the most throughout your career?
If my name is real and if so, why am I named that.
questions from celebrities
When I first saw you on Mad Men I loved you at first sight. I thought, along with the rest of America, here's our new Grace Kelley. Did you feel the pressure to live up to that 1950's perfection?— EVA MENDES, Actress
I think it's flattering to be compared to such an icon, but I couldn't possibly allow myself to think I needed to hold up to her standards as an actor or a beauty.
What is your favorite body part?— CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN, Shoemaker
January, what is your favorite month? — CASSANDRA HUYSENTRUYT GREY, Founder & CEO of VIOLET GREY
That's tricky. I guess maybe December because of the month-long excitement and anticipation of all the novel and witty name/month jokes I'll be hearing in January.

Tilda Swinton, who stars in the new Jim Jarmusch vampire flick, “Only Lovers Left Alive”, is not afraid of her own mortality.
“I think in a funny way we all do live forever,” she told us Wednesday during a Cinema Society screening of the film at Landmark Sunshine. “There aren’t that many people who aren’t spoken about after they die... I think immortality is probably overrated. I am all for the adventure. It’s coming and I’m not frightened.”
After, guests including Swinton’s younger boyfriend, artist Sandro Kopp, Patti Smith, Peter Sarsgaard, Christy Turlington and Joel Coen headed a W Magazine-sponsored bash at the Handy Liquor Bar.

Starz dropped a new teaser trailer for “Outlander” over the weekend and it’s 25 seconds of delight.
Caitriona Balfe stars as Claire Beauchamp/Randall in the clip, as she visits those magical stones at Craig na Dun that take her back to the 1700s.
There’s also more footage of her on the horse with young highlander/outlaw/man of many things, Jamie Fraser, as they ride up to Castle Leoch.
Red coat action in the clip comes courtesy of Tobias Menzies, as Black Jack Randall at the :16 second mark.
No doubt there was plenty of pausing over the weekend at :25 second mark for a glimpse at a shirtless Jamie (Sam Heughan).
I continue with my struggle of whether or not this Jamie is sexy
Captain Small Ass? Falcon Big Butt? Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier explodes into theaters on April 4, and co-stars Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie reveal that they had some amusing nicknames for each other on set when it came to their in-shape physiques.
Plus, Scarlett Johansson explains that while she doesn't diet, she keeps her Black Widow body in fighting shape -- at least within three weeks of being camera-ready. And Sebastian Stan talks about team who helped him bring The Winter Soldier to life.
The entire event was entertaining, due in no small part to the mere fact that Anthony Mackie was there. While there was a lot of ground covered for The Winter Soldier, there were also a few questions about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the upcoming showdown between Captain America 3 and Batman vs. Superman in 2016.
The funniest part of the conference involved the Batman vs. Superman question though. Anthony Mackie served as the hype man for the panel as he jumped into the middle of Joe Russo‘s diplomatic answer with “Hell yeah! Go ahead and put it out there baby. Tell ‘em! Tell ‘em!” He went on to say in part, “In other words, punks step up to get beat down. Know about that! We got Chris Evans, baby. Deal with that.” Sam Jackson chimed in with a zinger of his own. He joked, “There’s Marvel where you have heroes, then there’s DC where you have interesting bad guys.”
Later on, he becomes slightly more diplomatic about the situation.
The Black Keys will release a new single, "Fever"-- their first new material since 2011's El Camino-- on Monday March 24, Revolt reports.
In the time since El Camino's release, the Black Keys have stayed busy. Dan Auerbach, as previously reported, is working on Lana Del Rey's forthcoming record, Ultraviolence. He's also worked with JEFF the Brotherhood and Ray LaMontagne, in addition to winning a Grammy for Producer of the Year (Non-Classical) in 2013.
Patrick Carney, meanwhile, produced Tennis' Young and Old, and co-produced the Black Lips' recent album, Underneath the Rainbow. He and Auerbach also toured with the Flaming Lips, hung out on "The Colbert Report", and recently performed at the soon-to-close Roseland Ballroom in honor of Super Bowl XLVIII.
The Black Keys won three Grammys in 2013: two for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for "Lonely Boy", and one for Best Rock Album for El Camino.
No further album plans have been announced at this time.
ONTD, what have you been listening to recently?
After six seasons, USA Network is officially hanging White Collar out to dry.
The popular drama, starring Matt Bomer, will conclude with a six-episode sixth season, our sister site Deadline reports.
More to come…
Ouch! Apparently yesterday's tanning session went on for a little too long.
Today, Miley Cyrus showed off a major sunburn in a topless Twitter photo. In the pic, the 21-year-old "Wrecking Ball" singer shows off her bright red chest and cleavage contrasted with white lines where her bikini top was. She captioned the sunburn pic, "Quick change today is gonna be a realllllllllll bitch #fuckyeahtampa."
Miley enjoyed a little rest and relaxation on the beach in Tampa yesterday before her Bangerz concert tour show there tonight.
She also took the tanning time as an opportunity to show of her butt bruise! "#f--kyeahtampa yasss that's a bruise on my arssss," Cyrus captioned the bootylicious photo.
Miley shared another photo today of a different region of her body. She posted a pic of her crotch with dollar bills stuffed into her denim shorts with the simple caption, "#bangerztour."

ITG: Any other favorite products to use on Beyoncé?
Francesca Tolot: One that I find myself using on her a lot is MAC In Extreme Dimension Mascara. To me, it's the best mascara right now, so that’s kind of a constant. My other favorite mascara isL’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes. Definitely that one. Let’s see… Eyelashes. Whenever I use eyelashes—not only on Beyoncé—I get them at the drugstore. I think they’re Ardell. But I don’t use lashes a lot on Beyoncé anymore. Except for that look in the "Blow" video, when we went for a really ‘70s look . But we stopped using lashes quite a few years ago. At one point I brought up the fact that I feel that false eyelashes are dated, unless you're going for the retro look. So I talked to her about that, and she totally agreed.
Francesca Tolot: We met on the "Crazy In Love" set back in 2003 [1-3]. She was very nice; she's a very approachable and warm person. We hit it off from the beginning. Right away I felt very comfortable, and very appreciated, too, because she loved everything we did. The makeup is barely there for some of the shots; that was a new look for her. But then we transitioned to a very beautiful, glamorous, strong look.
ITG: Before we move on, I should know what Beyoncé's no-makeup look actually consists of.
FT: It’s so easy. She is beautiful, first of all, so even if we have to do a bare look —like for "If I Were A Boy"—there was really practically no makeup there . For that, I use moisturizer and maybe a little bit of concealer and lip balm. I like Amazing Concealer. It’s very intense, very rich. It really covers a big problem if you need it to, and I like that. Otherwise, I really love La Mer The Radiant Concealer. It’s nice—enough coverage, but it’s very moisturizing and it doesn’t dry or crease. Believe it or not, one of the hardest looks to do was for Cadillac Records when she looked so distressed . Can you imagine—because, you know how beautiful she is—to make her look like that? Somebody with perfect skin, beautiful almond-shaped eyes, very luminous and happy and full of joy—to make her look so bad? Also, it’s not like she was supposed to have no makeup, no. She was supposed to have some makeup on, because in the scene she got drunk and drugged out and overdosed the night before. I don’t know how I did it; it was very, very hard to make her look like that. But you know what? I think she looked so cute. It’s like you wanna grab and hug her and say, 'It’s OK baby!' [Laughs]
ITG: And suddenly you're doing music videos. I wonder if you can explain the relationship between music videos and baby oil.
FT: In the "1+1" video in particular—that’s an extreme use of baby oil . Again, no makeup on the skin because it would be gone in two seconds. But the ultimate use of baby oil, yes. After you shoot, you just wipe it off with a towel and your skin is so nice and smooth and soft, so it’s actually really good, you know? And sometimes I mix in some shimmer to the oil or moisturizer. I also like the Nars Body Glow. But do you know this product RCK Luminous Body Glow? It’s a body shimmer that comes in three colors, and it dries, so it doesn’t bleed into the clothes. But the "Single Ladies" video—I’ll never forget that day—it was the hottest day in New York and the studio's air conditioning broke down . So as you can imagine, dancing in the heat like that, the glow was all natural. [Laughs] It was tough for the girls, but they did it.
