FBI Opens Up Investigated Into Ryan Adams Over Sexting Allegations w/ Teen Girl

TW: Childhood Sexual Abuse

The New York Times read and verified over 3000 texts between Ryan Adams and a musician who was 14 years old when he began communicating with her. When she was 16, he repeatedly begged her to tell him she was 18, but he also asked her to keep the texts a secret, worried about her mom finding out, and texted, “If people knew they would say I was like R Kelley lol.” Shortly after “joking” about R. Kelly, he told her to touch her nipple.

Ryan Adams denies the allegations, of course, and has his lawyer claiming she looked “approximately” 20.

Sadly, this young woman quit playing music as a direct result of Ryan Adam’s alleged predatory behavior. Just imagine how many careers have been torpedoed by predatory men in music.

Jack Falahee Dishes On Drinking Scotch + What He Loves About Working With HTGAWM Boss Shonda Rhimes

Jack (Connor) talks about his partnership with Oban Single Malt Scotch Whisky and HTGAWM with Haute Living

How did your partnership with Oban Single Malt Scotch Whisky come about? Did they approach you because you have a hard-to-pronounce name or did they feel your character on HTGAWM gelled with their brand?
I’ve been a fan of Oban for many years, so it made perfect sense when the brand approached me with the campaign idea. I couldn’t say no since, like Oban, people have always struggled to pronounce my last name. I understand the frustrations and love the sarcasm and humor in the videos. At the end of the day, what we’re really trying to do is get people to enjoy this incredibly good, craft Scotch whisky.”

If you could drink a glass of Oban with anyone, who would it be and why?
Hands down Hemingway. I’d love to have a glass while he reads “A Farewell To Arms” aloud to me.

What is the greatest lesson you’ve learned from working with Shonda Rhimes on HTGAWM?
The greatest takeaway from working with Shonda has been that hard work pays off. Shonda is talented and driven but from what I’ve learned is that above all else she is driven. When she wants to do something she gets it done. I admire and respect that, and hope to emulate that.

Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin now cast in already star-heavy 'Dune' film adaptation

Already pretty star-studded, 'Dune' and its cast is still ever expanding. In addition to the confirmed cast, led by Timothée Chalamet and Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista, Oscar Isaac, and Zendaya, are now Jason Momoa and Josh Brolin.

-- Momoa will play Duncan Idaho, a swordmaster in the house of Atreides who is the right-hand man to Chalamet’s father, played by Oscar Isaac.
-- Brolin will play Gurney Halleck, the warmaster for Chalamet’s family and a mentor to his character.

This is allegedly a two-part movie, and I'm not entirely sure but at the very least the first begins production in March, directed by Denis Villeneuve.

--------

Other episodes feature Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Auli’i Cravalho, Laverne Cox, Sara Gilbert, Gillian Jacobs, Hannah Simone, Malcolm Barrett, Steven Yeun, Awkwafina, and Yyvette Nicole Brown.

Youtube Premium was formerly Youtube Red (which presumably changed their name for obvious reasons).

Looks interesting. I think Youtube Premium wants to shake off the idea that their original content is just vloggers making their own shows (which kind of what it was initially, right?)
