Topless Female Protesters Invade Heidi Klum’s Live TV Broadcast

With “Heidi Horror Picture Show” plastered over their naked bodies, protesters bombarded the stage of Germany’s Next Top Model last night — and got right up in Heidi’s face.

It was just a regular live taping of Germany’s Next Top Model.

Models were competing,

Heidi Klum was kissing robots. You know, the usual.

When suddenly, FEMEN interrupted the live broadcast.

And like this on the stage:

But one of the protesters got right up into Heidi Klum’s face.

They were quickly aprehended by security. (how to escort topless women without groping their breasts)

But why the protest?
Per their Facebook update, their protest was held because they felt the program is a “pimp-show where world-famous supermodel Heidi Klum plays the role of “mom” and forms a bevy of underage girls to fashion-fools.” They continued,

The unauthorized appearance of FEMEN sekstremists at the epicenter of the show broadcasted live made the organizers and participants in the state of torpor. FEMEN sekstremists managed to make their accusations in the face of fashion-fascist ideologist of the show Heidi Klum in front of 15000th stadium and the millions of TV viewers audience.
FEMEN regards the fashion industry as an element of pimp business and has consistently opposed the commercialization of the female body. Every year the fashion business millstones grind hundreds of thousands of girls, promoting the brilliance and richness of modeling career, forcing women to false ideals, provoking a real disease. Fooled by fashion propoganda, failed by fashion models, women regularly join the ranks of sex workers, and psychiatric patients.
Stop the fashion business! Stop Prostitution! The true mission of a woman is a revolution!

Doctor Who: 10 More Actresses Who Could Play The 12th Doctor

$
0
0

Now, I don’t actually think having the Doctor regenerate into a woman makes a lot of sense. He’s a man. Why would his body heal itself by turning into a woman? But I still do think there are many, extremely talented women out there who have what it takes to play the iconic role so this list celebrates the possibilities of that alternate timeline where The Doctor is a woman.

In order to add a bit of structure to this list I introduced a couple of constraints to the choices that I could make. For example the actresses had to be from the United Kingdom as every actor to have played the Doctor has been – we need to keep some level of believability, we’re already casting him as a woman, lets not go crazy! Also, they have to be alive. But apart for those limitations the picks could be anyone.

In addition to casting ten women in the role of the Doctor I’ve also picked who will play their version of The Master as well as picking out one companion for each of them. Mainly the companions are male because if you have a female lead you also need a male lead. It’s just tradition. So without further bluster take a look at 10 more actresses who could play the 12th Doctor.

5. Emilia Clarke

Her Companion: Iain Glen
Ser Jorah returns to the BBC. This might be an interesting partnership if Glenn’s Doctor Who character, Father Octavian is brought back. I always liked him for some reason (it was probably his voice) and seeing his aggressive lifestyle clash with the Doctor would be some interesting drama.

Her Master: Harry Lloyd
Harry Lloyd should be in everything. He should be the Doctor and the Master but we already have a Doctor so his part can be delegated to that of The Doctor’s great nemesis. After three or four episodes playing a sort of dark version of Clarke’s character Daenerys in Game of Thrones he’s already off to a great head start in delivering yet another spine-chilling performance.

Her Doctor
From khalessi to Time Lord, I see it. A woman with enough natural authority to command a hoard of angry horse-lords has enough authority to be our favorite Saturday night hero. Whilst her Game of Thrones character can be fairly whiny I think it is more down to the writing than personal choices made by Clarke herself. Scenes where we see the political, scheming side of Daenerys demonstrate the intelligence that she could bring to the Doctor role

4. Natalie Dormer

Her Companion: Finn Jones
Brother to her Game of Thrones character Margaery, Finn Jones also plays the grandson of third Doctor companion Jo Grant so this could be a fairly interesting relationship. In Game of Thrones the brother and sister are closer than any other like Jo once was to the third Doctor.

Her Master: Lena Headey
Yes, I am right. Lena Heady as the Master would be awesome. She had the uncanny ability to seep evil from every pour of her body and still put in a brilliant performance. The two actresses bat horns most weeks in Game of Thrones and it seems that neither can quite get the upper hand. A very Master/ Doctor-like relationship.

Her Doctor:
Power struggles are central to the characters that have made Natalie Dormer famous. Just watch her play the Game of Thrones, in Westeross or in the Court of King Henry VIII. You might be able to identify a surprising similarity between her and the Second Doctor. Each put on a false persona to manipulate those around them into doing what they want. She would make a very devious Doctor indeed…

3. Tamsin Greig

Her Companion: Bill Bailey
I chose Bill Bailey because of the ‘Black Books Connection’ of course but also I think the man could easily play the companion to a woman. He is very humble, funny and endearing, he possesses all of the traits needed to make a good companion. How has no one seen it before!?

Her Master: Gina Bellman
I think it is tragic that Gina Bellman has fallen to the edge of familiarity in the eyes of the public. She proved her comedy chops in Coupling and went on to reaffirm her brilliance in Jekyll. It is through her performance in Jekyll where we get to see a simple housewife pushed to the very edge of morality. Gina Bellman does ‘dark’ very well, dark and desperate. Two traits perfect for the Master

Her Doctor
Something of a comedy legend, Tamin Greig appears in some of the finest and most successful comedies that have come out in the past twenty years. In keeping with the ‘Petwee Principle’ she would make a good Doctor assuming her encompassing talent for dry humor and endless supply of confidence remain in tact.

2. Maisie Williams

Her Companion: Joe Dempsie
The relationship between Gendry (Dempsy) and Arya (Williams) in ‘Thrones is a legendary one in certain back-alleys of the internet where the age-of-consent laws don’t apply so it’s clear they work well together. Besides it would be really nice to get Dempsie back on British television. He’s missed.

Her Master: Chloe Grace Moretz
Kind of breaking the ‘British rule’ but then the Master has been played by American Eric Robert so she wouldn’t be the first. Chloe Moretz kind of is Williams’ real life parallel. They both acted in uber-violent hyper-real properties. They both stand out in those properties as the best characters (Peter Dinklage withstanding). It would be illogical not to make them face off.

Gods, I make it sound like a dog-fighting ring.

Her Doctor
Yeah, I just went there! And yeah, this is happening. I went through about every British actress out there, Kira Knightly, Kate Winslett, Emily Blunt and none of them have half the charisma, authority or charm of this one 16 year old (13 pictured). Williams is the most bad-ass character in a show about bad-ass characters. In a world where women are constantly downtrodden and seen as nothing more than pretty little bargaining chips Williams’ Arya is the night and day opposite of that.

The Doctor’s regenerations seem to be getting younger so why not go the whole way? Williams has more than enough talent to pull it off.

1. Emma Thompson

Her Companion: Hugh Laurie
Hugh Laurie could be the Doctor but he could also be the companion. He’s that good. Hugh Laurie has so well recognized in the eyes of the public that I barely feel he needs an introduction. As an old uni-friend of Thompson’s I feel he would fit right in to the vibe any show whose cast she lead.

Her Master: Jennifer Saunders
Same age, same hair colour, same comedy-based past. Who would dream of faulting my in-depth analysis? Jennifer Saunders was detestable as the Fairy Godmother in Shrek, if she could bring the same energy to the Master then Britain would love to loath her for it.

Her Doctor
Emma Thompson is a complete legend. Actor, Comedienne, Writer, Oscar, BAfTA and Critic’s Choice award winner If there’s a job in TV or film Emma Thompson can do it better than you. If Emma Thompson had turned around in the final scene of ‘The Name of the Doctor’ it would have been just as awesome a twist. Emma Thompson brings class to even the most mind-numbingly awful properties (Junior starring Arnold Schwarzenegger anyone?) and would do just as much for the already wonderful Doctor Who.

Thompson has proven herself to be massively versatile from portraying another Time-Lord Nanny McPhee to one of the most definitive Elanor Dashwoods on screen, Thompson could effortlessly turn her hand to the greatest part in British Drama.

Leo reenacts 'The Masque of the Red Death' while eating pizza in Venice

red death

Does Leonardo DiCaprio think nobody will spot him in this mask?

DiCaprio and his pals were in Venice, Italy today – enjoying pizza slices, taking in the sights, and going for a ride in a speedboat. And for whatever reason, the “Great Gatsby” actor decided to put on a bizarre dark mask AND sunglasses on his famous mug while he was out.

We’re not sure why. Maybe he didn’t want to be recognized. Maybe Leo was trying to channel Justin Bieber’s inexplicable gas mask escapades in London earlier this year. Maybe he has a terrible case of acne or sunburn. Or maybe he was trying to remind us of his long forgotten 1998 film, “The Man in the Iron Mask.”

As Page Six revealed, DiCaprio is in Italy to celebrate the Venice Biennale. French luxury -goods mogul François Pinault threw a lavish party celebrating his shows at Venice’s Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi that brought out guests including his son François-Henri and daughter-in-law Salma Hayek, DiCaprio and his wing man Lukas Haas, Damien Hirst, Larry Gagosian, Jean Pigozzi and Goga Ashkenazi.

Bruce Jenner admits that he doesn't know the 35-year-old rapper well because he has barely been around during the reality TV's star pregnancy.

'I've only met him once,' he told Extra.

'Yeah, he's not around, he was in Paris the whole time writing, and he just hasn't been around.'

The 32-year-old brunette beauty has also failed to introduce her boyfriend of more than one year to her step-brother Brody Jenner, who is joining their show Keeping Up With The Kardashians this season.

'I've never met Kanye,' he said.

'But everyone in the family says great things about him.'

But the Mercy hitmaker is set to make a brief appearance at Kim's baby shower in Beverly Hills on Sunday alongside her younger sister Khloe's husband Lamar Odom and her older sister Kourtney's boyfriend Scott Disick.

'It's girls, but Kanye will come at the end,' Khloe revealed to Us Magazine.

'I said I want Rob Kardashian to be there the whole time because I feel bad he's like left out of all this stuff. So I said come the whole time, but I don't know if he is.'

Real Housewife Joanna Krupa's romantic topless swim

Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa sent the Florida temperature soaring while enjoying a pool frolic with fiance Romain Zago.

The 34-year-old Polish model stripped off her swimsuit top while soaking up the sun this week and splashed around with her on-again beau wearing just her red bikini bottoms.

It's not the first time the Bravo reality TV star has shed her inhibitions - she posed topless for a PETA campaign last year.

The couple are just about to finishing filming season three of the hit franchise and recently revealed that after various splits and reconciliations, they have finally set a date for their wedding.

They are gearing up to exchange vows on June 13, they revealed to the Miami Herald.

The pair temporarily broke-up in November last year after six years together.
She complained at the time that his workaholic nature had ruined their sex life.

After they reconciled, Zago then gave a TV interview with Access Hollywood Live, admitting that he'd became 'bored' in the bedroom.

He used a rather strange analogy about pasta to illustrate his point.

He said: 'You never realize that every relationship, after a few years, gets boring, even though people keep asking me, "Dude, you’re engaged to the sexiest swimsuit model woman in the world, how can that be boring?"

'You can eat the best pasta in the world every day… you’ve gotta spice it up otherwise it’s the same pasta.'

He said they now work on keeping the flame alive, adding: 'Obviously we have our moments but I’m not gonna lie to you [and say] we do it every day… I work a lot, she works a lot; she’s always traveling.

'There’s no couple that has the perfect sex life after so many years… It’s not gonna be an every day that we’re gonna have sex even though she’s awesome and… she’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.'

Earlier this month, Krupa revealed her bridal duties have become all consuming, telling her Twitter followers: 'Geez this wedding is taking up my whole life right now lol! So much work.'

The ceremony will be filmed for the reality TV show.

The marriage of her co-star and rival Adriana de Moura will also be documented on the programme.

'After Earth' completely bombs. No one surprised.

This weekend will once again belong to Fast & Furious 6, but M. Night Shyamalan's After Earth looks unlikely to even take the #2 spot after a disappointing Friday opening of $9.8 million.

Now You See Me (which has a cast featuring the likes of Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman) took #2 with $10 million and looks set for a weekend of $27.8M. After Earth on the other hand - which has a 'B' CinemaScore despite being torn to pieces by the majority of critics - looks set for a three day total of only $27.2 million (although some analysts are predicting a number as low as $25 million).

It's not exactly clear what has caused the movie to underperform, especially with Will Smith and his son Jaden (who found his own success with The Karate Kid) in the two leading roles, although it's thought that the last few Shyamalan films have just put audiences off going anywhere near anything that has his name attached. With a $130 million budget, only its overseas opening can save it now.

According to Deadline, "the studio worked "really hard" to fix this crapfest in post-production and that even an arrogant know-it-all like Shyamalan was aware the pic didn’t work but couldn’t fix it on his own."

Are you guys planning on checking it out?

Source
The original predictions for this based on pre-sales and midnights was for it to flop but take in around $35-40 million while doing so. Now it's not even predicted to take close to that. Did anyone here actually see it?

At her niece's dance recital.

“The whole reason Britney came back in town was to watch her niece perform in her recital. She came last night but snuck in briefly backstage, but today she had a seat in the audience and she watched most of the dances (Edan was here too)! At the end she came on stage for the finale to give the studio owner flowers.

Ps I got to dance and she watched me. This is the best day of my life.

My friend sat right in front of her and she touched her, cause she got up to leave and she also said she was singing toxic because this girl had a solo to toxic and it was a cover and she was singing along!!

Everyone was talking about how gorgeous she looked and how she looks younger In person.

She was also so sweet and nice, like she didn’t have to come to stage and give the studio owner flowers!"

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Leonard Nimoy Talks Star Trek Into Darkness

$
0
0

Star Trek Into Darkness features a brief but important appearance by one of the franchise’s most legendary characters, portrayed by a man who’s just as iconic (and supposedly retired). Yes, we’re talking about Spock (or Spock Prime), reprised once again by Leonard Nimoy. What’s, ahem, fascinating about Nimoy’s cameo is the fact that it was so successfully kept secret for so long. Sure, there were whispers in the wind, but no one knew for sure that the rumors were true until they actually saw Spock Prime on screen. StarTrek.com chatted with Nimoy a few days after the film opened in the U.S., and he filled us in on how his Star Trek Into Darkness turn came to be, how it was pulled off and – get this – how he’d be willing to beam out of retirement again to work with J.J. Abrams on the next Star… WARS film.

How did you enjoy participating in the festivities at the L.A. premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness?

NIMOY: Oh, it was a lot of fun, a lot of fun. They had a gigantic crowd. They were very enthusiastic. I had a lot of family with me, and we all enjoyed it.

What worked best for you about the film?

NIMOY: It’s hard not to enjoy this movie. There’s so much of a thrill ride happening. The relationships between the characters are terrific. The actors are all wonderful. I’m particularly proud of Zachary Quinto because of my connection to the Spock character. I think Zachary did a wonderful job. But they’re all terrific.

How humbled were you by the cheer that greeted your appearance as Spock Prime?

NIMOY: That was very touching. I appreciated that.

How accepting are you of the alternate timeline and such things as the destruction of Vulcan, the Spock-Uhura romance and, in this film, a Caucasian Khan?

NIMOY: I take it all in stride. I don’t feel that I have any personal investment in that. I am definitely invested in what happens to the future of the Spock character, how it’s played and how it’s portrayed. I think a very good job is being done with that and I’m very proud of that. I’m very happy to be connected with that and Zachary and I are very good friends. I admire him. I think he does wonderful work. As far as the timeline and the storyline are concerned, I do not have a big investment in that.

How did J.J. Abrams approach you about doing your cameo?

NIMOY: He just said, “Would you come in for a couple of days and do me a favor.”

You’d passed on doing a cameo as Spock in Star Trek: Generations. What made you say yes to this?

NIMOY: This cameo in Star Trek Into Darkness was about the Spock character. The cameo in Generations was not about the Spock character. It was just somebody named Spock saying some lines that had nothing to do with Spock. It wasn’t about the character at all. The character was just being used to say some lines that needed to be said about the exposition of the story. I suggested to them that they could take those lines and give them to other members of the cast and no one would know the difference. And that’s exactly what they did. So that indicates to you how clear it was that it wasn’t about Spock. It was about something else. So I just let it go. There was no need for me to be there. This story lent itself to the idea that Spock would contact me to ask for information.

What’s your take on the function of the scene within the movie?

NIMOY: It makes it pretty clear what Kirk, Spock and the rest of them are dealing with. I’m telling them from personal experience exactly what they’re dealing with. Up until that point there’s some ambiguity because the (Khan) character is so clever that one doesn’t know what his real intentions are. So it served that purpose. It makes it very clear that from here on in they know they’re dealing with a maniac.

Was your scene shot at Paramount? At Sony? At Bad Robot?

NIMOY: It was shot at Bad Robot. I drove myself over there, and J.J. directed the scene.

How amazed were you that no photos emerged? That the secret was kept secret for as long as it was?

NIMOY: I was very pleased that it worked out that way. I was asked time and time again if I was in the movie, and I managed to avoid answering without lying. (Laughs)

We believe you flat-out said no, actually.

NIMOY: Did I say “No”? Maybe I was confused. Of course, speaking, if you’ll pardon me, logically, I wouldn’t know if I was in the movie until I saw the movie.

Be honest, do you think you’ve NOW donned Spock’s pointy ears for the last time or are you still a never-say-never kind of guy?

NIMOY: Wow… That’s impossible to answer. I don’t know. I don’t know what J.J. is going to do. I consider him a very good friend. I think he’s done a great thing for Star Trek. I’m very grateful to him. We all owe him a lot. When someone comes along like he has done and picks it up and elevates it, we should be grateful. So when J.J. calls me, I take the call.

You’ll be coming to New York City next month to support Vincent, which will play at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre on June 14 and 15. What excites you about this production?

NIMOY: I’ve seen this actor, Jean-Michel Richaud, give this performance a couple of times on the West Coast. He is really quite wonderful in the role. And I will be doing Q&A’s after all three performances.

Last question. If J.J. Abrams rings you and says, “Come be in Star Wars,” what would you say?

NIMOY: Oooh. Ooooh, wouldn’t that be fun. I would love to.

You don’t think the galaxy would implode if Spock played a role in Star Wars?

NIMOY: No, no. I think it would work wonderfully. I think it would work just great. I think it would be a great idea, and somebody ought to tell him that.

Orphan Black Watch Post!

"Orphan Black" has been one of the stealth surprises of the year. If you haven't caught up with this twisty BBC America thriller, in which Tatiana Maslany brilliantly plays a set of clones, you should try to get up to speed.

On Saturday, BBC America is airing every episode of the drama during an all-day marathon, which will be capped by the Season 1 finale. Check out HuffPost TV's exclusive clip from the finale above.

The supporting cast features standouts like Jordan Gavaris, who plays Sarah's divinely bitchy brother Felix with sensitivity and flair; Maria Doyle Kennedy, who plays Felix and Sarah's former foster mother; and Matt Frewer, who plays a messianic scientist. Given scenery to chew, Gavaris and Frewer happily munch on it, but they also give their characters depth, texture and, in Felix's case, pathos. He and Sarah grew up with a foster mother and endured chaotic lives, and Maslany and Gavaris make the fierce bond between the often cynical siblings absolutely believable. Kennedy's character is a cipher at first, but soon becomes a key player in Sarah's journey.

"Orphan Black," which has already been renewed for a second season, has evolved into something that is equal parts techno-thriller, neo-noir and yuppie satire; it's both gritty and escapist, and it wisely treads lightly around questions of nature, nurture and identity. The goal is to entertain, and the episode in which foul-mouthed Sarah had to pretend to be uptight Alison during a suburban pot-luck dinner was one of the funniest and most entertainingly twisted hours of TV I've seen all year (there are moments with a glue gun you won't soon forget). In the hands of lesser writers, "Orphan Black" might have asked obvious or overly pretentious questions about why these women turned out so differently, but the show allows its serious ideas to sneak in around the edges, rather than drag the whole enterprise down.

There's no question that Maslany is giving not just one, but several of the year's finest television performances. Each clone is completely distinct, right down to body language and gestures, and the actress switches among accents flawlessly. And playing one clone who's imitating a different clone and somehow getting that imitative quality exactly right? Those are some next-level skills right there.

More Pics of TRASK & XAVIER on set of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

With Bryan Singer merging past and present ‘X-Men’ actors for ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past,’ the director has announced that Anna Paquin (Rogue), Ellen Page (Kitty Pryde), Halle Berry (Storm), Daniel Cudmore (Colossus) and Shawn Ashmore (Iceman) will be joining the film – which is ostensibly a sequel to ‘X-Men: First Class,’ but will prominently feature actors from the first ‘X-Men’ trilogy. Additionally, Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine again, and Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are to reprise their roles as Magneto and Professor X, with Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy returning to play younger versions of the same characters in the film. Seeds of a tie-in between the trilogies were sown when Jackman cameoed as Wolverine in ‘X-Men: First Class.’ Jennifer Lawrence, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Booboo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters and Nicholas Hoult have also been confirmed to star.

Bryan Singer launched the’ X-Men’ movie franchise with the first two films, ‘X-Men’ and ‘X2,’ and has been a guiding influence in each subsequent X-Men film by producing. Matthew Vaughn, director of ‘X-Men: First Class,’ will produce ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ with his fellow co-writer on the film, Simon Kinberg, and Lauren Shuler Donner. The screenplay is written by Kinberg, Vaughn, and Jane Goldman, with Singer writing the story. Set for a July 18th, 2014 release date, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ will be based on a classic comic book story arc that unfolded in two issues of Marvel Comics’ ‘Uncanny X-Men’ in 1981, from writer Chris Claremont and artists John Byrne and Terry Austin.

The story was partially set in an alternate future where surviving mutants have been penned in concentration camps, giant robots called Sentinels patrol America, and most of the X-Men have been hunted and killed. In the present day, the X-Men were forced to stop a key event from unfolding in order to keep that future from occurring.
