"Glee" held on to most of its increased audience from last week's (supposed) school shooting episode, while "American Idol" saw a backslide after its best Thursday numbers in a month a week ago. It was the biggest show of the night, though CBS and ABC were airing mostly reruns.
Over on NBC, "Hannibal" also saw a drop in ratings, going from a 4.37 million average over its first two episodes to 3.5 million for its third episode, but both "Community" and "Parks and Recreation" saw an uptick of a couple hundred thousand viewers.
CBS' reruns were good for a win, just edging out FOX. The Eye averaged 9.2 million viewers and a 5.9 rating/9 share in households, while FOX was at 9.1 million viewers, a 5.8/9. ABC trailed at third with 4 million viewers and a 2.7/4, followed by NBC at 3.2 million, 2.0/3 and the CW at 1.9 million, 1.2/2.
In the adults 18-49 demo, FOX won with a 2.5, followed by CBS (2.3), NBC (1.4), ABC (1.2) and the CW (0.7).
