Daniel Gillies has said that he thinks Elijah is in love with Elena on The Vampire Diaries.

The 35-year-old revealed that he hopes the Original vampire will express his feelings for Elena (Nina Dobrev) at some point on the CW series.

"I know it's a little obvious in the world of Vampire Diaries, where everyone falls in love with Elena, but I agree that Elijah sees something beautiful in her," Gillies told The Insider.

"I would love for him to express that to her before he goes," he continued. "I feel like Elijah would be most drawn to her because she's living a better life than people who've lived for centuries longer.

"I think that's the sort of thing he's attracted to,
" Gillies insisted. "Even it was just a moment, I'd love to see them share something - but I think it should be more."

Gillies recently returned to the CW series after he was resurrected by Damon (Ian Somerhalder).

Joseph Morgan, who plays Klaus, said in December that he would love to see a battle between his character and Elijah.

The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.

Bon Iver surprised a lot of people, their own fans included, when they were nominated for Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Alternative Album. To make matters terribly ironic, it came out last December that frontman Justin Vernon thought of the Grammys as being "ridiculous". In an unpublished interview segment done around the time of Arcade Fire's big Grammy win last year, Vernon said of the awards show:

"I was like 'I would go and I would' — and I don’t think the Bon Iver record is the kind of record that would get nominated for a Grammy — 'I would get up there and be like, "This is for my parents, because they supported me," ' because I know they would think it would be stupid of me not to go up there. But I kinda felt like going up there and being like: 'Everyone should go home, this is ridiculous. You should not be doing this. We should not be gathering in a big room and looking at each other and pretending that this is important.' That’s what I would say."

Sure, there may be a big game on today, but part of the fun for TV fans is seeing what kind of crazy commercials we get to see for our favorites shows. Since this year the game is on NBC — and given THE VOICE’s premiere tonight and SMASH premieres tomorrow — it only makes sense that one of the network’s big ads is a gigantic musical number.

cute. But missing Jimmy Fallon, imo.

whoops. Apparently Jimmy Fallon was in it. That's what I get for being ~forever lazy~ and not watching the last 10 secs.

Bow Wow has avoided a civil lawsuit for long enough -- and now a judge in Georgia has ordered he be arrested and held in custody until produces documents and information to the other side.

Bow Wow was ordered by a Tennessee court back in 2009 to pay almost $100,000 to a tour bus company for allegedly not paying his bill. The company then took the case to Georgia to try and get the court where Bow Wow lives to enforce the judgment.

He was ordered to produce documents in his home state regarding the lawsuit, which he never did. As a result, the tour company filed a motion to have the rapper held in contempt.

Finally back in October, the judge granted the motion and ordered Bow Wow be arrested and held until he produces the necessary documents the tour bus company asked for.

Bow Wow has not been taken into custody so far, or responded to the lawsuit.

Calls to Bow Wow's reps were not returned.

The life of a celebrity seems perfect on the outside, but we continue to see that this is ultimately false. Demi Moore's recent hospitalization for "exhaustion," a euphemism for cracking under the pressure of fame combined substance abuse, is just another example of that. But as history has shown us, Demi isn't the first woman to struggle under spotlight. Read on for a detailed history of celebrities who have publicly broken down.

    When: April 24, 1996
After her role as Lois Lane in the original Superman films, Kidder's career declined while co-star Christopher Reeve's was taking off. Kidder had always struggled with manic depression and paranoia. At one point, she even told a TV crew that she thought her ex-husband hired people to kill her. In 1996, her bipolar disorder reached its peak when she had meltdown in which she chopped off her hair, wandered through hills, and ended up with naked among shrubbery in Glendale, California.

    When: August 19, 2000
It's ironic that Heche started her career with an Emmy-winning role in the soap, Another World, given her very public meltdown in 2000. Shortly after splitting with then-girlfriend Ellen Degeneres, Heche was found roaming a rural area in Fresno in nothing but a bra and shorts. She then proceeded to ring a stranger's doorbell, before asking them about a gateway to outer space and whether or not she could use their shower. Heche claims she's always struggled with two personalities, one of her normal self and another named "Celestia," an alien from space who could talk to dead, see the future, and who was Jesus Christ's half-sister.

    When: July 19, 2001
It was Mariah Carey's bizarre appearance on an episode of TRL, where she showed up to the set dressed in nothing but a T-shirt, that let us know she was gone. Later, she stripped down to her tiny shorts and a fitted tank top, handed out popsicles, and then blabbered nonsense like, "All I know is I just want one day off when I can go swimming and look at rainbows and eat ice cream. And maybe like learn how to ride a bicycle." She went on to post strange messages on her website, like, "I don't say this much but guess what, I don't take care of myself." Carey was hospitalized days later for "extreme exhaustion" and a "physical and emotional breakdown," and she stayed under doctor's supervision for two weeks.

    When: April 2002, November 23, 2006
Known for appearing in Whitesnake videos, Kitaen always had an eccentric personality, which was showcased on The Surreal Life in 2006. By then, Kitaen was already infamous for her 2002 domestic violence charge for beating her then-husband Chuck Finley. In November 2006, she was caught in possession of cocaine and entered rehab. She made another trip to rehab on VH1 reality show, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008.

    When: December 4, 2002
Whitney went from perennial "good girl" to dysfunctional drug addict in the blink of an eye. Despite her enduring career that dates back to the '80s, rumors of her drug abuse with husband Bobby Brown began circulating as she started showing up late to interviews, photoshoots and performances in the late '90s. Her instability would even cause her to lose key gigs, such as a performance at the 2000 Academy Awards. After she got caught with marijuana in her luggage at the airport, Houston gave Diane Sawyer an outlandish interview in December of 2002 during which she famously uttered, "Crack is cheap. I make too much money to ever smoke crack. Let's get that straight. Okay? We don't do crack. We don't do that. Crack is wack." Soon after, she checked into rehab, but couldn't kick the addiction until another stint in rehab in 2011.

    When: April 19, 2005
Maybe American Pie star Tara Reid took some advice from co-star Natasha Lyonne off-screen as well. As it turned out, the weird redhead from the raunchy teen comedy had a complete mental breakdown in her New York apartment, which she rented from actor Michael Rappaport in the early '00s. Not only did the actress trash her apartment, but she broke into her next door neighbor's apartment, smashed her mirror, picked up her dog and eerily proclaimed, "I'm going to sexually molest your dog." Apparently, the actress had been under the influence of drugs, as she was later forced into a methadone treatment center.

    When: February 20 2006, January 13, 2008
Bjork has always been a little... off. It wasn't until her Bangkok incident in 1996 that she finally gave someone a piece of her mind. Upon her arrival at the airport with her son, she snapped and attacked a female reporter who expressed the sentiment, "Welcome to Bangkok." Although she later apologized, she reasoned that she was angry at the reporters talking to her young son. But in 2008, another Bjork attack reportedly occurred. This time, she allegedly ripped off a photographer's shirt at a New Zealand airport. No charges were filed.

    When: January 3, 2008
No one can forget the time Britney shaved her head and attacked a paparazzo's SUV with an umbrella. We also can't fail to recall the countless nights she was caught partying pantiless with Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, the time she drove with her infant son on her lap, and her endless stints in rehab that caused her to lose custody of her children. But the snapshot that encapsulated Spears' entire decline was the one of her being placed in an ambulance, looking frazzled and drained, in front of her own home. Just days into 2008, the star's court-appointed child monitor called the police after failing to give over her boys to Kevin Federline when her visitation hours were over. According to police, Spears had been "under the influence of an unknown substance." She was then tied down to a gurney and rushed to the hospital for a complete mental and physical evaluation.

    When: January 26, 2008
Before the Director's Guild of America awards incident that made her take a long, hard look into the mirror, the Blade Runner actress was already infamous for her wild antics. In addition to crashing a Vanity Fair party in 2006, Young allegedly left a disfigured doll on her ex James Woods' doorstep and dressed up like Catwoman and unexpectedly showed up on set to nab the part. She finally checked herself into rehab after she became so intoxicated at the 2008 Director's Guild of America awards that she spoke rudely to actress Marion Cotillard, audibly sang along to Kristen Chenoweth's performance, and interrupted Julian Schnabel's acceptance speech, before being escorted out of the event.

    When: April 3, 2008
Naomi Campbell is almost synonymous with anger management issues. Between 1998 to 2008, she was accused of battery ten times against everyone from her housekeepers to assistants. The worst seemed to be in 2008 at London Heathrow Airport against two police officers she reportedly assaulted for losing her luggage. She plead guilty to the charge, was sentenced to 200 of community service and is now banned for life from British Airways.

    When: May 31, 2009
Given all the hype surrounding her miraculous Britain's Got Talent run, Susan Boyle, who wowed with her rendition of "I Dreamed A Dream," seemed like she'd be the sure winner. Unfortunately, that was not the case as Boyle lost to the ten-person dance crew, Diversity. The evening following the announcement, parademics rushed to the London hotel Boyle had been staying at to treat the singer, who was apparently suffering from exhaustion and an emotional breakdown. She was later transported into a private clinic for further evaluation.

    When: June 27, 2010
Courtney Love's reputation has never been pristine. From drunkenly crashing Madonna's MTV VMA's interview with Kurt Loder in 1995 to publicly disowning her daughter in 2010, Love's issues have always been front and center. Amongst all of the chaotic events in her life, the worst happened during Hole's reunion tour, when she showed up late, stumbled drunk onto the stage with her assistant who was instructed to film her, and had no recollection of how to play her songs. She also hurled racist remarks at audience members. In 2011, Love announced she was tired of her bad reputation and credited Buddhism with helping her kick her drug addiction.

    When: July 6, 2010
Lindsay Lohan's slow breakdown has been a buffet for tabloid reporters. From her drunk driving arrests and constant partying to her tree crash and misdemeanor theft case, Lohan hasn't exactly learned from her previous mistakes. Even after being sentenced, Lohan continued to violate her probation and get involved in more lawsuits. Currently, she's being sued by a woman who alleges the actress ran her over. Lohan's lowest point so far has been her court-ordered trip to rehab in 2010, following a stint in jail. That 90-day sentence to jail followed by a 90-day sentence to rehab cemented the fact that Lohan needed serious help.

    When: August 10, 2010
It turns out the former American Idol wasn't exactly living the dream. The singer was hospitalized for overdosing on aspirin and sleeping pills, an incident that was ultimately deemed a suicide attempt. At the time, Barrino had been struggling through personal issues, including ther abortion of her and boyfriend Antwaun Cook's baby after finding out he was still married.

    When: November 1, 2010
The pressure of perfection took its toll on the then 18 year-old Disney star when she decided to check herself into rehab. According to sources close to the family, Lovato had been struggling with a bulimia, self-mutilation, and bipolar disorder for some time. The catalyst that finally sent her to seek help was a fight with her back-up dancer on the Jonas Brothers world tour, due to Lovato's suspicion that the dancer had ratted her out to her tour managers for partying. After completing three months in rehab, Lovato returned with the impetus to put forward a more empowered and empathetic image. Recently, some reports have been connecting Lovato's Twitter absence with a possible relapse and return to rehab, which her reps have vehemently denied.

    When: July 23, 2011
Arguably the most infamous breakdown in recent history, Amy Winehouse's struggle with drugs and depression caught up with her and ultimately claimed her life last July. Although she had always been dealing with substance abuse issues and eating disorders, it wasn't until 2005 that the public started noticing her decline. She claimed to be a manic depressive and was reportedly using Ecstasy, heroin and cocaine among other drugs. Despite announcing she quit using in 2008 and entering rehab, Winehouse relapsed. Her autopsy revealed her blood alcohol level was five times over the legal drink-drive limit.

    When: January 24, 2012
After announcing her split from former husband Ashton Kutcher, Moore's health plummeted. Despite her rep staying that Moore was hospitalized for exhaustion, the leaked audio of her 911 call revealed that Moore had been under the influence of prescription meds and had gone into convulsions after she had "smoked something." According to People, sources say that Moore's collapse had been the result of a "desperation to stay young and skinny." The actress has decided to forego rehab and seek spiritual counseling from Kabbalah for help instead.

Insists "no butt shots", "thinning makeup"

We are hearing rumors that Christina Aguilera is behaving like a diva on The Voice, and is pissing off the crew and the other judges.

Insiders claim the reason behind it all is she is unhappy with the extra weight she has put on and spends a lot of time trying to make sure she is filmed at the best possible angles so she does not look plump.

A source revealed, “Christina holds up production with her constant demands, saying, ”Don’t make me look fat’ or ‘Don’t show my butt.’ She insists the cameramen only shot her at flattering angles, forcing a few segments to be re-shot. She also demands that stylists bring her the latest slimming fashions, and she’s always ordering the makeup artists to make her face look thinner.

“Christina has turned into a bullying diva,” said an insider. “In interviews, she likes to say that she’s at peace with her new curves, but that’s not how she really feels.

Most of the judges are tolerating her behavior, but fellow judge Adam Levine is having none of it. He thinks she is behaving unprofessional and believes that producers should not pander to her demands.

Last week, K-pop supergroup Girls’ Generation got an unprecedented U.S. television showcase on “Live! With Kelly,” the Reegeless morning show currently featuring Kelly Ripa and a revolving-door series of daily guest hosts. For those who caught it, the segment offered up one of television’s rare magic moments — not during the musical performance itself, but in the brief interview immediately afterwards.

The Girls had just pulled off a crowd-pumping rendition of their first U.S. single, “The Boys,” complete with their signature precision choreography, and stood posed and slightly breathless onstage to receive Ripa and her cohost du jour, Howie Mandel. Ripa and Mandel congratulated the girls on their Stateside appearance in full-on talking-to-foreigners mode, speaking loud and slow, and making big, evocative gestures with their hands.

Then Mandel decided to pay the girls a compliment. “Your English is very good!” he said to one member — bubbly, effusive Tiffany. Without missing a beat, Tiffany responded in a perfect NorCal accent, “Well — I was born in America.” “I was too!” chimed Jessica, the brown-haired pixie next to her. Startled, Mandel could only repeat, “And…your English is very good!” The other girls burst into laughter as Tiffany defused the awkward situation: “I know, I know, thank you so much, I studied so hard!”

You can’t really fault Mandel. After all, Girls’ Generation is the face of young Korea — the nation’s hottest and biggest-selling female music group. To him, Tiffany and her bandmate Jessica speaking fluent Americanese must have been like hearing Katy Perry suddenly bust out in Khmer.

But Tiffany and Jessica — and the growing ranks of other Korean American performers recruited by management companies like SM Entertainment and JYPE in U.S.-based talent searches — aren’t just a random act of globalization. They’re the secret weapon in Korea’s next push for worldwide youth-culture domination.

Tiffany, who still breaks out in giggles at the Mandel Moment — “His expression was totally funny” — was born in San Francisco and raised in L.A. “I went to an SM audition when I was 15, and ended up getting invited to move to Korea for training. My parents were completely against it, but I convinced them to let me do it. I didn’t know what I was in for, but I knew I wanted to do music for the rest of my life. And it was really tough: Three years of hard work, learning what it’s like to be an idol.”

Korea’s pop training programs are rigorous and all-encompassing: Would-be idols live together in dormitories, going to school during the day and then learning singing, dancing and acting late into the evening. For some, like Tiffany’s fellow transplant Jessica, the process begins as early as age 10.

The management firms pay for everything; leading talent house SM Entertainment has pegged the cost of rearing a single idol at around $3 million, which for Girls’ Generation would be multiplied by nine. Most candidates end up quitting or failing to catch on, but the potential payoff for those who make it is enormous: The Girls are multimedia superstars and blockbuster branding engines with deals to endorse everything from LG phones to Intel processors to Goobne Chicken (a leading South Korean oven-roasted chicken chain). Collectively, they generate a revenue stream well north of $50 million a year — which makes them a pretty fantastic investment for parent company SM.

“Girls’ Generation are easily the biggest girl group in all of Asia,” says Susan Kang, founder and CEO of, the largest English-language K-pop site. “That’s been the case ever since they had their breakout hit “Gee“ in 2009. The video for that song alone has over 64 million views on YouTube, and has been viewed in every country in the world except for a few nations in Africa. Take the Spice Girls in their prime plus Britney in her prime and combine them, and you might get close to how big they are today.”

In Asia, that is: The Girls have topped the charts in Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan and especially Japan, the world’s second largest music market. And in Europe, where the “SM Town” concert they headlined in Paris sold out within 15 minutes of it being announced.

But Asia and Europe have a long history of embracing media in non-native languages. English is a mandatory part of elementary school education in many Asian countries, including Japan, China and Korea; over half of Europeans can hold conversations in languages other than their native tongue. Here in the States, meanwhile, fewer than one in five Americans are conversationally fluent in a language other than English, and while the occasional non-Anglophone song has cracked the pop charts — six non-English songs have even taken Billboard’s number one slot, the most recent being Los del Rio’s Spanglish hit “Macarena“ — the reality is that those are the exceptions that prove out the rule: If you want to rock in America, you have to roll in English.

That’s why Tiffany and Jessica play such a critical role in Girls’ Generation’s quest to crack the U.S. market. According to Soompi’s Kang, “In my opinion, if anyone is going to make it here, it’s going to be Girls’ Generation or 2NE1” — a high-energy quartet currently being mentored by Black Eyed Peas’, three of whom speak fluent English.

“Having native English speakers is a huge difference maker in reaching the American audience,” says Kang. “It makes it feel less ‘foreign’ to them. And the upside is that big-name producers like Teddy Riley are writing their songs, they’re backed by Korea’s number-one agency, and frankly, the Girls are nine hot ladies. With nine girls, there’s at least one of them you want to date if you’re a guy, or want to be, if you’re a girl.”

So will the nine-lady army of Girls’ Generation succeed in winning American hearts and minds? Absolutely, says Adam Ware, chief of Mnet America — the new U.S.-based sister channel launched by powerhouse Korean music network Mnet.

“There’s a tipping point going on right now, and the Girls are poised to take advantage of it,” he says. “From an industry point of view, you have the brightest minds in the music biz looking around and saying, what is it that and Jimmy Iovane” — the head of Interscope, the Girls’ U.S. label — “know about K-Pop that I don’t? And the answer is, these are talented performers who are attractive in a way that’s sexy but wholesome, who know how to make use of social media. You have young people graduating out of the Disney Channel and looking for something to listen to that’s catchy, positive, fun, and they go to YouTube and they see the Girls. They watch the videos. They learn the dances. It’s amazing: I’ve never seen anything like this, where you have huge crowds of people knowing exactly the hand gestures to do to songs that aren’t even in English.”

That’s the vibe Mnet America is counting on. They’ve expanded from four million to 12 million households in the past year, and can now be seen in nine of the nation’s top ten markets. They, and their parent company, are spending heavily behind the notion that K-Pop isn’t just a fad or niche, but the next breakout pop subgenre.

“Our parent company has really been pushing the concert biz — they’ve packaged some of the top K-Pop groups together in a global tour they call M-Live,” says Ware. “And they’ve really been investing in Mnet America, looking to put us into the role that MTV used to play — the champion of a new and exciting musical genre. MTV was where hiphop really went mainstream, and they’re the ones who made it possible for a lot of the big European artists to cross over. They don’t do that anymore. But when it comes to Asian pop artists, and K-Pop in particular, we will.”

Ware has a good point. It was MTV that made the Scandi-Pop wave of the late-’80s / early ’90s happen: A-ha, Ace of Base, Roxette, The Cardigans, Aqua, and, on the avant-garde side of the musical spectrum, Bjork. Those acts were visually appealing and vocally talented, but frequently language-challenged. If they could make it in America, why not the Girls — who, with two native-born speakers and several other members fluent in English as a second language, are well ahead of their Scandinavian forerunners, many of whom depended on phonetic transliterations for their American releases?

“I don’t think language is a barrier at all,” says GG’s Tiffany. “We have fans from all over the world, who love our music even if they can’t understand it. If there’s one thing that our experience has taught us, it’s that music is really a universal language. It’s something you don’t just hear — it’s something you feel.”

And a vide of the performance/interview:

Yeah I definitely cringed during the interview...

FX confirmed Friday afternoon that the cable network has picked up Sons of Anarchy for two more seasons, bringing it up to season six. The show’s creator, Kurt Sutter also signed a three-year overall deal to write and produce future projects with 20th Century Fox Television and FX Productions, which produce Sons of Anarchy.

According to The Wrap, FX is also expected to later pick it up for a seventh and potentially final season.

Sons of Anarchy is easily the top-rated show on FX. Entertainment Weekly reports that the Ron Perlman and Katy Segal-starring series had its best season ever with season four. The season averaged 18 percent more viewers in the key 18-49 rating demographic and 21 percent more viewers overall in comparison to season three.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the news, part of Sutter’s deal includes complete control over the series and not having to worry about ratings. FX has been successful in the past with deals like this, having handed full control to The Shield’s Shawn Ryan and Rescue Me’s Peter Tolan and Denis Leary. This allowed the shows to have true endings without having to worry about getting renewed for the next season and ending on a cliffhanger.

Sutter is often candid on his Twitter account and criticized FX’s failure to break the story of his deal immediately. According to The Los Angeles Times, he wrote, “closed my deal for 3 more years on SOA. no headlines, no pushed schedule, no stealing from paul. thank you FX and 20th for your generosity.” That post has now been deleted, but he later wrote, “Yep, we locked down six seasons. Thanks for all the cheer.”

Season five of Sons of Anarchy will start in the fall.
