Megan Fox for Marie Claire

'The ultimate satisfaction for me is being with my son' Megan Fox speaks out about choosing parenthood over Hollywood

She's been lucky enough to star in a number of Hollywood hits but Megan Fox says her great achievement is having her son.

The Transformers star, 26, has revealed that having a baby was her life's dream and now she has her baby boy being a film star doesn't have the same allure.

Speaking to Marie Claire she said: 'I recognise the blessings when they come – like, I recognise I’m so lucky to work with Judd – but the ultimate satisfaction for me is being with my son. All I wanted to do my whole, whole life was have a baby and, now, I’ve finally done it'

She adds:'I just want to give Noah as much of myself as I can. And I want to have more kids. That is where my heart is.'

Megan, who is currently promoting her new film This Is Forty, says acting doesn't really feel like her role now she is a parent.

She told the magazine: 'It’s very hard for me to do this stuff, because I feel like this isn’t my job any more. My job is to be with him.'

Megan gave birth to her son in September last year and like many celebrity mothers she appears to have snapped right back into shape.

In a glamorous photoshoot to accompany the interview Megan is seen reclining in an emerald green satin dress, as well as posing up against a window in a Victoria Beckham number.

She's as appealing as ever but Megan only has eyes for two men in her life, her son and husband Brian Austin Green.

The actress spoke about why she thinks her marriage to the former 90120 star works.

She said: 'I just think we got lucky. I believe he’s my soulmate. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t take work, because we are very, very different. But we are tolerant of each other and we try to be patient with each other, and I don’t try to turn him into me and he knows not to try to turn me into him.

She added: '‘He really is amazing. I should never, ever even think about complaining.’

Tame Impala's video for Lonerism's "Mind Mischief" updates the age-old young male student/hot female teacher fantasy with a psychedelic twist. Director David Wilson is quite fond of lengthy slo-mo shots of a woman's ass as she walks, and extremely trippy cartoons.

Ben Affleck, Emma Stone, and Bradley Cooper on Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Cover

It’s one for the history books—more than 75 different stars were photographed for Vanity Fair’s 19th Hollywood Portfolio, shot by Bruce Weber as the famed photographer’s definitive tribute to the town. Enfolding Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, Amy Adams and Jonah Hill, Selena Gomez and Alan Arkin, Weber’s vision called for a variety of talent—of both the two- and four-legged variety. The cover: Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper (impishly smiling in a bear suit and a gorilla costume, respectively) flank America’s sweetheart Emma Stone. Oscar winner Affleck cemented his status as Hollywood’s in-demand director with Argo, which received seven Academy Award nominations, including best picture, while Cooper’s Silver Linings Playbook received eight nominations, including Cooper’s first for best actor. Youngest-ever best-actress nominee Quvenzhané Wallis also appears on the cover gatefold along with Olivia Wilde, Kerry Washington, and Eddie Redmayne.

Weber’s wild(life) wit continues inside, as Les Misérables’ Redmayne and Bella Heathcote dance with a bear, tiger cubs make an appearance, and the most fawned-over participant in the whole production—Tai the elephant—mugs for the camera. Tai, who has her own IMDb page and several starring film credits, at one point walked through the soundstage at Hollywood Center Studios and began to perform some of her favorite tricks. Later that day she even gave Gomez a ride on her trunk.

Editor Graydon Carter wanted to do something different for the portfolio’s 19th year, so he called on Weber to create “Bruce Weber’s Adventures in Hollywood,” an ode to the city’s warmer side. Weber convened the shoots at various historic Hollywood locations—including back lots, soundstages, the Beverly Hills Hotel, Musso & Frank Grill, and the old Marion Davies estate. He shipped selected LPs and a portable record player to provide the right musical accompaniment for the assorted cast of Hollywood characters. When Weber was staging Quincy Jones and three of his beautiful daughters—Rashida, Kidada, and Kenya—Weber asked them to come up with a song they all knew so that they could sing together. Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’,” from the Thriller album, which Quincy produced, was their choice.

V.F. special correspondent Bob Colacello, who accompanied Weber on many of the shoots, observes that Bruce’s “magic kingdom . . . is more Cinecittà than Disney, a place where Old Hollywood glamour is filtered through the lens of postwar Italian neo-realism, and Norman Rockwell wholesomeness is given an antic Fellini edge.” Having spent decades watching the movie business, Weber finds the unexpected warmth among its stars. There’s an intimacy to these images that shows that Hollywood isn’t just about glamour. This year’s portfolio is a celebration of the friendships that thrive among the people who call it home.

Russell Brand Stages Walkout At Yoga Studio

Russell Brand wasn't making anyone laugh at The Golden Bridge Yoga studio in Los Angeles last week. The British bad boy staged a mass walkout during class to protest at the studio’s alleged treatment of his close pal, yoga teacher, Tej Kaur Khalsa.

“Russell absolutely adores Tej, and she has become something of a guru to him. “They are the best of friends. They meditate together, they hike, they go to vegan restaurants together, and Russell took it very personally when he found out that Tej wasn't happy at Golden Bridge. Tej told Russell that she wanted to quit teaching at the studio, but claimed they wouldn't let her out of her contract. That made him spitting mad and he vowed to take action on her behalf!”

So, last Tuesday, at the start of morning class, Brand decided to fight the power and stage a mass walk out. The source says that just as the students were getting situated on their mats, and fellow celeb Demi Moore was taking off her shoes and finding a spot on the floor, Russell marched to the front of the class, with Tej standing next to him.

“Golden Bridge is not treating my friend in a respectful manner,” Russell charged. “After years of dutiful service, they refuse to let her out of her contract. If you’d like to continue to study with her, follow me!”An eyewitness says the crowd shifted nervously for a few seconds, wondering whether or not they were being Punk’d, but soon enough, at least half of the class, Demi Moore included, rolled up their mats and followed Russell right out the door!

“It was bizarre,” the witness states. “We were just there to do yoga and get in tune with our spiritual sides and then suddenly it turned into a revolution!”

Golden Bridge Yoga studio confirmed the walkout but denied they were refusing to allow the popular instructor out of her contract.“Tej quit. She just upped and left. There wasn’t a contract problem though, she just quit. Yes, there was a walkout in class, I didn’t actually know that Russell Brand led it, but he was there and so was Demi Moore. Neither Demi nor Russell have been back since.”

Tej has become sort of a guru to Russell and even accompanied him when he hosted the MTV Music Video Awards.

Mr. Kimberly Kardashian Proves He Doesn't Have Herpes.

Last year, Kayla Goldberg filed a lawsuit against NBA star and soon-to-be ex husband of Kim Kardahsian, Kris Humphries, accusing him of giving her herpes. He has slammed this outrageous claim, proving his innocence by undergoing – and passing – both blood and urine tests for every single STD known to man.

Humphries vehemently denied the accusation, and in a bid to put an end to the matter once and for all, submitted to a plethora of tests – the results of which came back negative, clearing Kris, 27, of herpes, HIV, and any other STD.

“Kris knew there was no way he gave Kayla herpes, so he took a blood test to prove it. The results, filed as part of Kris’ response to the lawsuit Kayla filed against him are under seal, but he was found negative for herpes, HIV, or any other sexually transmitted disease. Now, he just wants to clear his name and get on with his life – sexually disease-free.”

During a recent hearing in the proceedings, Humphries’ lawyer told Judge Ronald Sohigian that his client planned on filing a counterclaim against Goldberg, and he denied having the herpes virus.

In the lawsuit, Goldberg claims she had unprotected sex with Humphries in his hotel room.

“Once Kayla Goldberg and Kris Humphries arrived at his hotel room they had sexual intercourse more than once, becoming intimate partners,” the court documents state.

Goldberg claims she was “free of any venereal diseases at the time she commenced her intimate relationship with Kris Humphries… Goldberg developed symptoms of herpes about or around four to five days after the first sexual encounter with Humphries,” the court docs reveal.

Humphries has formally asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed.

Y: The Last Man Director Is Named

The film adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan’s popular graphic novel Y: The Last Man has been in development for a decade, and four months after Vulture learned that it had become a priority at New Line, we now hear that the project finally has a director.
It’s Dan Trachtenberg, a first-time feature director who made the short “No Escape,” a popular fan film of the video game, Portal.

Y follows the adventures of Yorick Brown, a young escape artist who discovers that he, along with his monkey, Ampersand, may be the only males left living after a plague knocks off almost everyone with a Y chromosome. In nabbing this project on the basis of a fan film, it seems that Trachtenberg beat out the director of an actual Y: The Last Man fan film made by Captain America visual effects supervisor, Christian Cardona. It’s a fan-film-tastic fracas!

Here is Trachtenberg’s “No Escape”:

Tina Fey Takes a Shot at Lena Dunham

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Tina Fey won a SAG Award for Best Female Actor in a Comedy Series.

Apparently, there has been a feud brewing between Tina Fey and her best friend Amy Poehler against Girls actress, Lena Dunham, who happened to beat them out for Best Actress in a Comedy Series at the Golden Globe Awards.

After Lena won the award she thanked the other nominees for getting her through middle school, making Tina Fey very uncomfortable. So much so that she was caught rolling her eyes when she heard it during her speech. Apparently Tina is not letting the little dig go without having the last word.

During her acceptance speech at the SAG Awards, Tina thanked her best pal Amy and said we’ve been friends for so long and I’ve known you since you were pregnant with Lena Dunham.

It makes one wonder what the two best friends are saying behind closed doors.

Ex-Footballer Kwame Harris Not Doing Much For Gays In Sports With This Assault Lawsuit

0
0

Here’s an unfortunate one-step-forward, two-steps-back scenario. As gays are serving openly in the military and the Boy Scouts are considering a teeny-tiny advancement toward allowing gay members and leaders in the don’t-ask-don’t-tell vein, gay men in sports are still overwhelmingly remaining in the closet. And now they’ve got the story of former Oakland Raider/ San Francisco 49-er Kwame Harris as an example of what not to follow. According to the San Mateo Daily Journal, Harris is charged with felony domestic violence and is being sued for assault and battery by an ex-boyfriend over an altercation that allegedly began over an argument about soy sauce and stolen underwear. Really.

In August 2012, Harris and Dimitri Geier, who were no longer romantically involved, their lawyers say, were having dinner at a Chinese restaurant before Harris was going to take Geier to the airport. Apparently Geier upset Harris by pouring soy sauce on a plate of rice. Which, again, this is really doing a lot to advance the public’s perception of gay men. The argument continued outside, where Harris reportedly pulled down Geier’s pants and accused him of stealing his underwear (OK, now this is sounding like a fight among sorority girls or something).

Things got more serious (and less ridiculous) when the two men came to blows. Apparently Geier threw the first punch, but Harris (who is 6’7″ and 270 lbs. to Geier’s 6’1″ and 220 lbs., according to the paper) hit his ex so hard that Geier needed surgery and a metal plate to repair his orbital bones. Harris denies the allegations, calling it a case of self-defense. He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.

New MGMT Album Tentatively Due in June, Influenced by Aphex Twin

0

The new issue of Rolling Stone features an interview with MGMT, who are readying the follow-up to 2010's bizarre gear-shift Congratulations. Rolling Stone says that the album is tentatively scheduled for release in June, following nearly a year of work at producer Dave Fridmann's Tarbox Road Studios in upstate New York.

Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden recorded the whole thing themselves, rather than using a full band, as they did on Congratulations. They told RS that the new songs are influenced by Aphex Twin and house music.

Songs have titles like "Mystery Disease" and "Alien Days", and there's also a cover of "Introspection" by the 60s garage band Faine Jade. Ben Goldwasser says the band are "not trying to make music that everyone understands the first time they hear it... There's no illusion on [Columbia Records'] part that that we're going to turn into a Top 40 band."

Anne Hathaway 'Hates' Katie Holmes

0

After career-changing performances in 'The Dark Knight Rises' and now 'Les Miserables', Anne Hathaway is untouchable. However, if you believe the latest reports there's still one rival who can rile her... Katie Holmes! Who'd have thought?

We've been reading up on Anne Hathaway since she grabbed our attention with her stunning 'Les Miserables' performance, and it turns out she might not be as innocent as she seems.

The 'Princess Diaries' starlet and former Dawson's Creek actress Katie Holmes are said to be fierce rivals, as they're always vying for the same roles. We're baffled!

Hathaway apparently can’t stand Holmes, accusing her of using her marriage to Hollywood star Tom Cruise as a tool to further her career.

“Anne and Katie are longtime rivals,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“Anne puts forth a very genial, friendly image, but she has a wicked competitive streak. She doesn’t like Katie because they used to go up for similar roles.

“Anne always felt like Katie used her Hollywood connections through Tom to advance her career. And she constantly makes fun of Katie behind her back, mocking her former marriage and even her appearance.

“Simply put, there is no love lost between Anne and Katie. It all comes down to the fact that Anne doesn’t take Katie seriously as an actress. And Katie’s gotten Anne’s message loud and clear.”

Wow. We don't know what to say... we think Anne's in a league of her own... and find it hard to believe she sees Katie as a threat! Not to mention both ladies seem like two of the nicest stars in Hollywood. We think we'll be filing this story under "unconfirmed rumour"...

The Fate Of The DC Cinematic Universe Hinges On The Success Of MAN OF STEEL

0
0
You guys still want that Justice League movie, right? Well, in a piece about Jeff Robinov staying on as president of the Warner Bros. motion picture group, it's pointed out that the studio won't move ahead with Justice League until they see how Man of Steel performs.

Green Lantern was a flop. With a budget of over $200 million, the fact that it grossed less than $220 million worldwide was not a good result for Warner Bros. While success was pretty much guaranteed for them with Christopher Nolan's Batman franchise, Green Lantern was the first real risk that the studio took when it comes to their superhero properties. For that reason, it should perhaps comes as no surprise that they are now extremely wary moving forward. While Marvel's The Avengers may have been a $1.5 billion success, they still aren't sure about whether or not they should move ahead with Justice League. Instead, it will be down to how well Man of Steel performs before they make a final decision on the fate of the superhero ensemble.

Stakes are high for "Man of Steel." Other than Nolan's Batpics, Warners has not been able to effectively exploit the DC library. Its 2011 "Green Lantern" underperformed, and a "Justice League" film wouldn't likely be in theaters before 2015, as Warner's top brass has indicated that they are awaiting the results of "Man of Steel," which opens June 14, before moving further ahead.

Thanks to Variety for the information above. This is of course common sense to a certain extent, but the fact that a trade as reliable as this mention it means that we had best see Man of Steel as many times as possible if we want Justice League to finally become a reality!

Meet The Final 5 Members Of The ‘Justice League’ & See Who Didn’t Make The Final Cut!

So what’s the latest with DC Comics answer to The Avengers 2 now that both films are slated to go mano a mano in the summer of 2015?

As of this morning, they are STILL looking for a director. In the meantime, according to sources, the final cinematic Justice League roster will consist of five core members featuring:

1) Superman
2) Batman
3) Green Lantern
4) Wonder Woman
5) The Flash

There might be one or two cameos from the 2nd stringers. The Justice League Varsity B team consists of:

6) Martian Manhunter
7) Aquaman

The 3rd sting bum juice practice squad sole member with the weakest possibility of a cameo:
8) Hawkman

So there ya have it. Again, five core members and one or two possible cameo appearances. Think about it for a second, this film will most likely be almost three hours and even then that is still not enough time to give back stories to seven plus characters, have a plot, maybe a romantic entanglement, and throw in Darkseid’s evil plan to boot. It’s overkill.

Wouldn’t it be a cool cameo possibility instead if there is a human character throughout the film and during the climatic third act battle – twist – he turns into Martian Manhunter revealing his true identity! That would be badass!

My money is on Martian Manhunter scoring the cameo because after all, the threat to the Justice League is going to be cosmic, so they are probably going to need help from some good guy alien. Water is always expensive to shoot hence Aquaman might get no love unless the Justice League needs something at the bottom of the ocean that Vinny Chase (Aquaman) can provide. Ok, poor attempt at humor. I see Hawkman as the Tim Tebow of the bunch so the general manager should trade him or outright release him.

It makes sense concentrating on the core five, three of which already had movies and are pretty well known. Then maybe introduce a new member as a cameo that can be fully explored and fleshed out in a sequel if it happens. Looking forward to what you guys think so chime in below.

Chloe Moretz for LOVE magazine #9

0
0

In anticipation of her upcoming film "Carrie," Chloe Moretz scored herself a feature in the Spring/Summer 2013 issue of LOVE Magazine .

The 15-year-old actress looked absolutely stunning for the artsy Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot spread while dishing to the mag about everything from the horror remake to staying fit.

On staying in shape:
"I'm conscious of what I eat and try to eat what I want, but if it's too rich then I change my choices the rest of the day. I don't really believe in depriving myself - I love food too much. I work out too to keep fit. I think a normal, 'real' body is the most beautiful thing in the world. Anyone can be board skinny if they want to deprive themselves. I just personally don't like that look."

On the future:
"I love my life. I love my family, I love my friends and I love my pets. I am very, very blessed. The future excites me sooooo much! I've got a lot more living to do."

On remaking "Carrie":
"There was such a maternal, female aspect to it. This is a movie that deals with really dark but also very female aspects of life. It's a very extreme mother/daughter relationship. For a man to try and interpret what that was like as a 16-year-old? Nah. Not the same thing. To have an actual female directing you and being opposite on the screen sirens of our day, she allowed me to feel safe to go to such a dark places with her because this is the most vulnerable I've ever been. Which is scary."

Naomi Campbell Wants the Magazine Covers Back

0
0
Naomi-Campbell-The-Face-Oxygen-600x450
Singers, performers, and actresses should watch out: Models want their magazine covers back.

It was 1998 when Time magazine declared the end of the Supermodel era. Over the last decade, actors, musicians and others celebrities have taken over the magazine stands. But, one of the most iconic members of the 80s and early-90s supermodels, Naomi Campbell, says it’s time to change that.

“Of course, we want the magazine covers back. Of course, we do,” Campbell told Celebuzz. “There are less covers for the girls out there who are the new, young, trendy girls. She’s got more to compete with and there are only a certain amount of covers they’re going to give a model a year. Before, you had models twelve months a year.”

Campbell wants upcoming models to reclaim the print modeling industry, rather than just be a face on the fashion runway.

“When I started modeling, there was a separation of girls that did shows and girls that did print. And my generation did both. That’s when it changed,” she says of how she and others like Christie Turlington, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford changed the fashion world.

With 26 years of experience, she is now the executive producer for Oxygen’s new reality competition show, The Face. The competition features up and coming female models who are all trying to be the next face and spokesperson for a nationally recognized brand. Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha will join Campbell as mentors on the show with former America’s Next Top Model judge, Nigel Barker, hosting.

Campbell hopes the show will be a segue into the next Supermodel Era and is preparing her girls for just that. “I’m a tough love coach,” she told us.

“I give encouragement and praise to my girls, but I also tell them when things are not right and they need to change them,” Campbell continued. “I don’t want to candy coat anything for them. They need to know the truth, because we’re not going to be there holding their hand when they go into the real world.”

The Face premieres on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 9PM on Oxygen.

Do you think this show will be a game-changer for the modeling industry?

I seriously doubt this show will do anything, but she could make a splash for some of the ladies considering it's Naomi.

Nick Cage as Superman

As many of you know, back in the 90s Tim Burton was developing a Superman movie for Warner Bros. called Superman Lives. It was going to star Nicolas Cage and Sandra Bullock. The movie never ended up happening, but a ton of special effects and prep work was done for the film. Over the years we've seen a lot of those things pop up online, but today we bring you a couple of brand new photos of Cage in costume.
It definitely looks a lot better than the first image that we saw of him with that crazy long hair style. You can see more of the Burton's Batman influence in this costume design, and it looks a lot more faithful to the comic book. In all honesty, it doesn't look that bad. It's the first thing I've seen from this movie that doesn't look absolutely ridiculous. What do you think of this costume design?

After getting hitched last June, Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas are reportedly expecting a child.

Rumors sparked after the yoga instructor appeared to have a small belly bump at the SAG Awards over the weekend.

According to InTouch magazine, an insider revealed that she and her "30 Rock" star hubby are expanding their family.

However, a representative would not comment on the matter and neither of the two have spoken out publicly about the pregnancy.

Perhaps alluding to the upcoming arrival, Hilaria tweeted on Tuesday, "When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece ~ John Ruskin." This will be the 54-year-old actor's second child as he shares daughter Ireland with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

It was a rough night for Lindsay Lohan and mama Dina .... first, flying to L.A. to dodge an arrest warrant and landing after midnight .... then getting rejected by a swanky hotel ... and TMZ has learned they were BLACKBALLED.

Lindsay and Dina showed up at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica (see video) at around 1 AM Wednesday. Lindsay stayed in the car while Dina went inside to check in, but she was unceremoniously turned away. Sources at Shutters tell TMZ they put Lindsay on a blacklist after she allegedly trashed one of their rooms in 2007.

Lindsay and Dina then went up the road a piece, to the Loews Hotel where they were also turned away. Management tells TMZ ... there were no rooms available.

We don't know where Lindsay and Dina ended up ... but one thing's for sure ... with court starting at 8:30 AM, they're gonna have bags so big they'll need to check them for the return flight.

New picture of fabulous Lois Lane with an iPad from Man of Steel

0
0

We've long since realized that Amy Adams won't be ditching her signature red hair to play famous brunette Lois Lane i Man of Steel, but that's just about all we do know about the character. She's appeared briefly in the film's trailers, but most of the marketing has, intuitively, focused on Clark Kent or Superman. If Lois Lane is playing an unusually big role in this one, they're keeping it under wraps for now.

In fact, the reveal of Lois Lane is apparently so minor that Warner Bros. has handed the honors off to the Spanish sit Desde Hollywood(vi Bleeding Cool), which posted the image in black and white for no apparent reason (are there black and white flashback sequences in the film? Probably not). Either way, you can see it belo above.
The iPad in her hand, combined with that 70s/80s throwback style of the collar and vest, makes for a pretty clear signal that this will be a very, very modern Superman, or at least a very modern Daily Planet office. That could mean for a lot of unnecessary jokes about the paper suffering cutbacks or needing to fire dead weight like Jimmy Olsen, but it could also be a refreshing spin on the character, deliberately getting away from all the glossy reverence that Bryan Singer' Superman Returns ot caught up in. You know that if another image emerges of Superman using an iPad, all the rival tablet makers are just gonna get furious.

Man of Steel omes to theaters on June 14 this year. For everything else we know about it so far click here.

iPad, huh? Better tell me why no one recognized Superman as Clark Kent in the era of Facebook, Google and nosy Internet users. His ass would be busted on reddit or 4chan faster than he can say, "you are my kryptonite".
