American pop product Katy Perry has angered the public once again after she posted a New York Times cover featuring her MET Gala look on it.

The problem is, the cover also features a picture of a policeman on fire.

The people in the comments let her have it:

"Someone is on fire? And you choose to glorify your dress? How insensitive can you be?", hausofferni wrote

"Disgusting. Are you really so selfish Katy? Is your dress really so important that you think this is at all acceptable? I hope that police officer makes it home to his family." erinwilleymew wrote

"You never really know someone until they show their true colors I never thought that you would ever make a joke that way wow you have really lost a fan" devanmira wrote

"Omg really Katy Perry? Posting, or lets say bragging a pic of you alongside a picture of a person burning? And you're saying yours is worth printing? There's obviously much more worthy news than yours. You shoud have cropped the pic or whatever if you really cant help yourself. Very insensitive of you to be honest smh" orangequiestas wrote

"Seriously, there's a cop ON FIRE and she cares about that God awful dress." panda_got_katanas concluded

Katy Perry has yet to comment or apologize.

    Update 8:02 AM BST:

Looks like a big old nothing. Maybe one of the corgis got into the Queen's rose bushes again. Maybe Charles got into the Queen's rose bushes again.

Speculation is that The Queen or Prince Phillip has died. Crossing my fingers it's Phillip. Apparently royal deaths aren't announced until after 8 am London time. BBC will likely be the first and only source.

ONTD PSA: last night had no Barba. Watch (or don't watch) accordingly. imo the episode was kinda wild and unintentionally hilarious (did Mariska Hargitay forget how to act? or is it the writing?), but not actually good. and lmfao @ that ending.

The House will vote today on Trump's American Health Care Act after determining they have enough "yes" votes from Republicans. Health care policy experts and groups such as AARP have railed against the bill, which would do little to protect those with pre-existing conditions and would create a multi-trillion dollar tax break for the wealthy.

Kathy performed her latest flop single Bon Apetit at the MET Gala but the audience lost their appetite watching her. No it's not the botox, you can tell by both Madonna and Jlo's faces they didn't know what the fuck was going on.

    · At a San Francisco fundraiser for 826 Valencia & ScholarMatch, Bay Area native & national treasure Tom Hanks told SFGate, “It’s a billion-dollar industry, they have billion-dollar TV contracts. All the owners are billionaires. And yet when they want to build a stadium they’re going to use for 10 weeks out of the year, they expect the city taxpayers to buy the building.”
    · In March the NFL approved the decision by a vote of 31-1 to move the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas in two years. The decision was made in part after Oakland's Mayor, Libby Schaaf, refused to hand over more money to the NFL for a new stadium. Oakland still owes $83mn in tax dollars for renovations made to the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum in 1995. Business Insider called the NFL's plan for a new $1.9bn Las Vegas stadium (which would use $750mn in public funds) "the worst stadium deal in the world." The cost would be a record $354 per person. ESPN calculated that NFL teams have used $6.7bn of public funds in the past 20 yrs on renovations or building new stadiums
    · Hanks also said he's boycotting the Raiders for two years

Ryan Tedder (songwriter, record producer, and lead vocalist of pop rock band OneRepublic) sat down with Access Hollywood to discuss in concise detail what it's like working with Adele, Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, and Selena Gomez.

    Summary

    Adele('Rumor Has It')

    • He wasn't down to write any ballads, so they did something tempo
    • Adele sang the entire song in one take

Taylor Swift('Welcome to New York' & 'I know Places')

    • Describes her as "goes beyond talented"
    • She sent him voice memos of her on the piano, communicating how she's hearing a song
    • "With Taylor, you function more as an editor. She has a million ideas, and you're more like, 'this one, not that one', because she's so good."
    • Says, for Taylor, you're more producing than writing songs, "she can write everything by herself."

    Camila Cabello

    • Says she's one of the best new up-and-coming artists
    • Didn't have crazy expectations, since, "[on girl groups] you don't know what to expect; it's like, you're one fourth or fifth of a girl group, I have no idea how talented you are. And [Fifth Harmony] was manufactured."
    • Says Camila is a phenomenal lyricist who wants her music to have a nod to her Cuban origin

    Selena Gomez

    • "Sweetheart, amazing, the nicest," also says she is "so calm and confident"
    • She knows what she wants, "if she doesn't believe it, or feel it, she's not singing it. She's not keeping it."
    • Can't predict what will make her album, but is ecstatic about the tracks they worked on
    • She will have a different sound
    • Doesn't want to go into much detail, but says they "did a very, very heartfelt, goosebumpy mid-tempo."

Actor Ike Barinholtz, who had a supporting role as Officer Griggs in 'Suicide Squad', revealed what it was like working with method actor Jared Leto.

"I do this scene with Jared Leto and he's supposed to be intimidating me. He comes in, he's the Joker, and he starts squeezing my t*ts. He's like [panting and moaning] 'You're a big guy'.

"This is while we're filming. Then he f**king grabs me and kisses me. On the mouth, full kisses me.

"I thought, OK, I'm just gonna go with it. But then he's like, [panting and moaning again] 'Did someone piss their pants?' I'm like, now I did because you said I did!"

He said Leto was seeking a reaction and "he got it. He was so nice and normal and so cool - I was a fan of his. But then he throws in all this weird sh*t."

Jared Leto previously explained his behavior with "The Joker is somebody who doesn't really respect things like personal space or boundaries."

-While promoting Alien: Covenant and being asked about Neill Blomkamp's 'Alien 5' Ridley Scott declared that his project will never see the light of day and was only a ten page pitch, nothing more nothing less. Scott goes on to say that he had to be a producer and Fox decided to pass on it because Scott already made Prometheus and was working on Covenant at the time.

-Ridley Scott's statement contradicts what Sigourney Weaver said at SDCC a year ago saying that she read the complete script calling it "incredible" and would be very pleasing for fans of the Alien franchise.

-The sequel would have brought back both Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn as Ripley and Hicks respectively while ignoring the events of the past two Alien films.

    SOURCE
This whole situation is very shady to me. I see you, Ridley.

It's no secret that Christina's fans are frustrated with how long it's taking for her to finish her upcoming album. Between rumors of her switching labels back in 2016 and side projects like filming Melissa McCarthy's "Life of the Party" and Drake Doremus's "Zoe", it's been pretty evident that there've been some delays.

This video (made by Twitter user @thisisfail) shows a timeline of the untitled project (dubbed "X6" by fans). Christina's been working on the damn thing since early 2014.

All of this has been boiling over, as fans have been putting pressure on confirmed writers, producers, and even members of her own team on updates after she's been so silent.

    Her Make-up artist

Sound Engineer Producer Omega working n X6

Alisan Porter reportedly deleted this Tweet after fans harassed her about Christina's music.

So months after supposedly putting the finishing touches on her album and tweeting about OREOs, fans snapped when she promoted Alisan Porter (Christina's contestant-now-friend, and winner of The Voice Season 10) and her new music after being so quiet about her own project.

    Sia didn't lie...

The news must have gotten back to her, because today she gave us a behind the scenes update on the projects she's been working on. The clip features Sia, Tayla Parx, recording engineer Oscar Ramirez (who worked on Stripped and Back to Basics), as well as some behind the scenes clips of video shoots and adorable moments with her family.
