WrestleMania roundup: Stage reveal, Hall of Fame night, match changes, etc.
WrestleMania weekend has kicked off in Orlando and a lot is happening. Up first, the entrance stage reveal and it's really something. Featuring a Universal Studios inspired globe, a roller coaster!, a ring above the ring, and one long giant ramp, these guys have really outdone themselves.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony was last night. No full speeches have been posted on YouTube, but here's the ending of Kurt Angle's speech. Stay for the whole thing its amazing!!

Earlier this week, the company decided that the Smackdown Women's Title match was going to be a part of the kickoff show. Fans were pissed and complained about it a lot on Twitter, forcing the match back on the main card.

Good old JR is back! He'll be on commentary for the Goldberg/Lesnar match. His new contract will also allow him to make occasional tv apperances to call matches, but its unknown how much that will actually happen.

Speaking of Goldberg and Lesnar, the two were originally scheduled to be the main event, but rumor has it last minute changes have been made and now the main event will be Undertaker/Roman Reigns, as it's the match more people are looking forward to.

Ghost in the Shell is flopping

Ghost in the Shell is underperforming (read flopping) at the box office this weekend witha projected ~$20m. The studio hopes that it will be make up for it with the international numbers. The film cost $110m to make.
Dreamworks' The Boss Baby is surprising with a projected $51m, overtaking BATB which is in its third weekend ($48m). Initial projections put The Boss Baby at mid $30m range.

The 5H girls, who are currently touring in Asia, received a plaque in Hong Kong for reaching 1 Billion units in Asia and Middle East. The new come after Billboard & Nielsen Music reported that Fifth Harmony last album, 7/27, sold 1.6M units worldwide 6 months after it's release.

- some academics at North Carolina State University say that Paltrow's cookbook My Father's Daughter doesn't clarify the final temperature that chicken dishes should reach thereby putting her readers in danger of salmonella or campylobacter
- in her cookbook It's All Good Paltrow advocates washing raw chicken which can increase the risk of campylobacter
- researchers also looked at 29 other cookbooks, some by celebrities, and found only 9% of them had adequate directions on the final cooking temperatures

Yesterday, Fresh Tilapia Queen, Gia Gunn, came out as trans, showing us her true fabulous self!
In the video, she declares "“I thought I would dedicate today in the spirit of being visible to share my transition with all of you. I have been on hormone replacement therapy for about a year and I identify as female and I am indeed transgender.”

Olympian Shawn Johnson posts pregnancy April Fools' joke; internet comes for her
Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson East posted a photo to her Facebook and Instagram today in which she sported a baby bump and told her followers that she and husband Andrew East were expecting. People were quick to call her out on her April Fools' Day joke, saying she had posted pictures and videos earlier in the week in which she was not pregnant.
Other fans took issue with the nature of her prank, saying that for women who struggle with infertility and have experienced infant loss and miscarriage, the idea of a fake pregnancy was not something to joke about.
Both the Instagram and Facebook posts remain up, but Johnson East has apologized.

'Get Out' smashes another record
Jordan Peele's directorial debut Get Out has officially broken another record. The film is now the highest grossing debut project with an original screenplay.
This honor was previously held by another horror film, 1999's The Blair Witch Project, which earned $140 Million in the domestic box office. As of today Get Out has passed the $156 Million mark domestically.
